1) For R2 of the Championship we are in Bahrain. Is there a particular corner or Sector that you enjoy here?
I really enjoy the combination of turns 1, 2, and 3.

2) In preparing for a race, do you have a particular routine? Do you practice in TT or do any full race Simulations?
I usually do TT

3) Fernando Alonso will be taking part in the Indy 500 instead of Monaco. Which race do you think is going to be more exciting?
I love Monaco but I think Indy 500 will be more exciting because I doubt there will be more than 1-2 overtakes in Monaco this year

1) For R2 of the Championship we are in Bahrain.  Is there a particular corner or Sector that you enjoy here? I enjoy the long sweeping right hander towards the start of the 3rd sector, and i honestly enjoy all of bahrain as a whole.
2) In preparing for a race, do you have a particular routine?  Do you practice in TT or do any full race Simulations? Normally a bunch of TT and 1 or 2 race sims to check strategy
3) Fernando Alonso will be taking part in the Indy 500 instead of Monaco.  Which race do you think is going to be more exciting? Monaco, although i will watch both to see how fernando does

Turns 9 and 10 are really fun if I get it right.

2) In preparing for a race, do you have a particular routine? Do you practice in TT or do any full race Simulations?
Usually do some time trials, then some short 5 lap races, and then a bunch of one shot qualifying runs.

3) Fernando Alonso will be taking part in the Indy 500 instead of Monaco. Which race do you think is going to be more exciting?
Monaco is a great race, but since there is no overtaking, the Indy 500 will definitely be more fun to watch.

I'm a big fan of sector 2 and 3, possibly my best track on the calender when I get it right and don't spin!

2) In preparing for a race, do you have a particular routine? Do you practice in TT or do any full race Simulations?
First thing I go towards Timetrial run until i cant find much more pace, take that setup (mostly darklols :P) and take it into normally 4 race sessions on 50% or until i get to run all weather and tyre compounds. I find my best asset this year is my tyre wear so I try to see what i can squeeze into a race.

3) Fernando Alonso will be taking part in the Indy 500 instead of Monaco. Which race do you think is going to be more exciting?
I didn't watch Monaco but watched the Indy 500 which was especially strange to do. Driving as Alonso in this league I'm expecting engine failures :P

1) For Championship R2 we are in Bahrain. Is there a particular corner or sector you like here?
- Sector 2 is the least I like.

2) In preparation for a race, do you have a particular routine? Are you practicing in TT or in full-race simulations?
- I really like TT

3) Fernando Alonso was participating in the Indy 500 instead of Monaco. That you will be more exciting.
-Surely the Indy 500 has a lot of excitement involved by the novelty to Alonso and also the danger of seeing the wall or a car stopped in the middle of the track. This race gives me chills, extremely dangerous.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make the race this week due to a work conflict. I will see you all in China!

Agreed. Hopefully we can clean it up for next race. Even though I got spun I still had a blast racing as always!

Youre fine and im sure it wasent just you, we were talking after the race, and literally in every sector there were 3-4 different spots where debris was scattered around the track, which tells me there was some unfriendly racing going on

Ya, talking about "bad driving contact" vs. accidental contact. BIG DIFFERENCE. In real F1, we see contact being made in every race. The stewards take a look at these contacts, and in many instances, they do nothing due to the fact that they understand that a "certain amount of contact is expected". However, there is the contact due to bad decision making, and that is normally where the stewards will step in and issue penalties. For example, I was "slightly" touched by another driver on turn 3 on the first lap that caused both of us to spin off the track, however I do understand that "things happen" that are hard to control. Yes, this incident put me in 21st position. Not the greatest position you want to be in to score points, however, the driver that made contact with me also spun, so he did not gain any advantage what so ever. I had no wing damage and did not hit any wall. Only due to some consistent driving on my part allowed me to go from 21st to a 7th place finish. I was passed on a couple occasions, but both passes were clean. Thanks to all you guys for doing the best you can to try not to make contact in tight places

Okay, I thought I would post my small video.  Nothing special, but it seems as if no one posts videos any more, so here is my race edit..Cheers folks... By the way, the folks that passed me did good jobs.  They found the opening and took it, and they were all clean passes. Thanks

Oh dang sorry about that V6! Looks to me like a 2016 Spain crash :D seems like you had more speed and I just didn't realise you would get just along side me certainly wasn't intentional. Also no idea why your engineer told you I ran out of fuel i certainly didn't, if he said my tyres were shattered he would have been right! We finished pretty much how the spins happened though.

Hey dude, no problem at all.  I'm going to fire my pit engineer ASAP, lol...  I watched my video several times and it is obvious that you pushed just a very small amount to far to the right that caused both of us to spin, but you certainly did not gain much of an advantage as a result of the crash.  I had no damage to my car at all. That corner is notorious for accidents such as ours anyway.  Heck, if we did not get together like that god only knows what would have happened and where I would have finished, but as it turned out I was able to run a majority of the race in clean air.  I had lots of drivers that were breathing down my neck, but I was able to keep most of them at bay.  I was also very surprised that I finished in 7th place.  I think that between pit strategies and being able to drive a fairly consistent race, and having no penalties was the reason I was able to finish in 7th place.  Anyhow, I consider the case closed because there was no malice what so ever.  It was just a unintentional accident that could have happened to anyone under the existing circumstances.  We were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.  Have a good one, and see ya in China.......V6

Let's just blame it on the coke can lying on the track that you had to avoid, LOL
