A new season is about to begin, and with it brings the return of the ‘HosTed’ practice sessions. Each Monday of a race week, I’ll host a practice session from 7PM-12AM ET, with static conditions, for that week’s race.
First session will be tonight.

Probably too late but I've noticed that I did not receive a league invite as well.

Apologies to all that may have suffered as a consequence of my driving tonight. I am typically a very fair and clean driver, but tonight was not great from me. Two incidents in particular, lap 1 tapping the rear of McGrath ahead of me, and later on tapping the rear of a black and green car, not sure the name. This was my first time out on track with other cars in this new car, but that's not an excuse, I know that.
Just wanted to say sorry, and that you can expect better driving standards from me in the future.

It was a great race! Almost got Holland after stopping. Got my inner Abner Acosta out and fuelsaved since lap 1 behind Carl. Sad to see my teammate Chris taken out by someone who has no driving standards and created mayhem for the whole grid. If we don't see a severe penalty for what happened, I'll be incredibly dissapointed.

Anyways, see you guys in Sebring!

I appreciate your comments. That was really poor tonight and I’ve spent all week prepping for this to help Paulo and it’s all over in 30 seconds. The rear wheel went up into the wheel well and it’s race over for me. It’s just not good enough unfortunately when others have given up their time and effort to be ready.

Choosing the official race event as the first kick of the can in this car to race in is a poor decision every day of the week in any class, car, or whatever. That’s not necessarily directed at you but really a piece of advice for everyone. The reason they put the race at the end of the iLMS race week is because the general logic is that you’ve had all week to prep and do races to get ready. Saying you’re too busy just doesn’t cut it because, well, we saw the result tonight.

I’m not trying to make you feel worse Mitch, and I have no doubt you’re clean and fair but sometimes you gotta make a call and decide if you’re a risk or not before the race starts because you have the potential to ruin a lot more races outside of your own.

I will be protesting you unfortunately as I think it’s the right thing to do.

Like I said, I take responsibility. But to honest, you and your teammate are severely over stating how bad it was. I broke well before the 100m board, and barely tapped you. Again, my fault, but to call me a risk out on track is beyond exaggeration. And I expected a protest, especially since monitoring your reaction to what happened. But I very much disagree that I deserve a "severe" penalty for a mistake like the one I made. But obviously this is up to the stewards and I accept any reasonable punishment.

Edit: Literally never said I didn't practice. Did nearly 300 laps in preparation for the race, and qualified 15th in a big field. But whatever.

I extremely disagree with that Mitchell. Several cars were involved in incidents started by you, which deserves in my opinion, a severe penalty. We'll wait and see what the stewards decide.

In fairness Mitch, you’re indirectly calling yourself a risk because you said yourself now twice you haven’t had time to practise or race. You should understand better than most what generally happens in that case.

I’m discussing my situation, but you had altercations with many tonight and not just me so I think the order of magnitude of concerns and displeasure is justified, and it’s not an exaggeration. You got DQ’d before the half way mark - clearly something isn’t right here.

I don’t want to get into a tit for tat conversation with you and I’ll leave it at that. I hold no grudges against you and I’m protesting you because you ruined my race and my race only.

See you next week.
