Next Season

Post by TRG » Thu Jul 23, 2020 3:59 pm

Gents, time has come to discuss what is next and I want to gauge interest in a car change to the PM18 to match the Elite series. To me, this makes sense as it will aid in setup sharing and development as this seems to be a small issue with the USF being a fixed series on iracing. We will still maintain the iRating split as it is now to keep similar skilled drivers together.

Vote, discuss, or complain about Gunderson not running the team paint. Go.

Indy Pro probably has the most support. But I’ll always throw my two cents in to root for a return to the Skip Barber.

I finally find a combo that works without pushing So much and you people want to change the car.

I'm happy with either car, but I don't want to be running a bunch of ovals just to follow the official schedule if we go to the PM18.

I don't have any beef with the USF, but I think running the more popular of the two cars would give us a bigger pool of drivers to keep up with having 2 divisions. Not that we're really hurting for drivers...so feel free to take that with a grain of salt.

I was just talking about my setup. It has been a bit too pushy on corner exit for my liking up to this point. Thursday will be the test for it though.

I would like the change. I also agree with the driver split, however I think there needs to be exemptions, for guys that obviously could be racing in the broadcasted league. Either the champ or top two or three get bumped up to the next level.

I voted PM-18 mainly because I would not have to split my limited practice time between the fixed set-up and the PRL set-up.
