Wasn’t expecting to run up to a p7 from p22, some luck was on my side! Was pretty clean from my vantage point gang, great job! Paul that was a very well race final lap, next time give me the spot 🤣.

Claude also thanks for giving me the opportunity to sneak past ya, you had a few scary blinks, and i just didn’t want to get to close and wreck ya, or us, thanks bud 👍

For the first race with a bunch of oval guys it was pretty good. There were a couple times I went to pass someone and kind of wondered what they were doing. Best thing I can tell you guys that aren’t overly familiar with road racing is to stay on your line and let us get past you. You can move over and lift to let a faster car past, but if you are going into a corner and get caught run your line. The faster guys may be setting up a pass coming out of the corner that you don’t realize. If you run your line you are predictable and the pass can be smoother for everyone.

Not trying to bust anyone’s chops just inform and teach.

That was a great race from my end, and alot of fun. Very competitive but clean racing. I had a great battle for several laps with Bradley Holly....we raced each other pretty hard but fairly....I even followed him off track in T1, which was the way I was finally able to get past.

Also, and i dont remember now who it was, but i screwed up my entry into the T7-T8 section and went off into the grass on the left side. Once I hit the grass i was a bit of a passenger and mainly just tried to keep it straight which brought me back out onto the track further down the hill. I saw whomever it was spin behind me. i dont know if my adventure caused that or if you did it on your own but, if it was due to me, I apologize.

I maintained and was lucky enough to capitalize on others' misfortune to gain an unexpected podium. There seems to be alot of talent in this group so Ill take what I can get.

Thanks again, Owen,  for the car setup. i dont know much about that stuff so it was nice just to be able to concentrate on learning the new car.

Dude my heart dropped! I was a split second from taking a tow because on my screen when I hit you I saw your rear wheel flopping around. But I saw you driving off and I was what the hell. Ok ill keep going but I won't try to pass you lol.  That was fun though. We were racing pretty good most of the race!

Sorry for the car buckle to the guy ahead mid race. I similarly shook off shuts, but as a veteran of 3 years racing and 11 years SIM racing, you guys really take the cake. I was at the back, no drama, could have been better, but the understanding (from a backmarker perspective) was really nice. Look forward to a great season!

It was only one race. You have a chance for redemption next week. We both know I can’t run in a circle.
