Will there be more than just the F3 for a choice in openwheeler Events??

Just wondering why there isn't a Renault 3.5 or a Dallara DW12 road series happening, really, just the F3 . So will PRL ever do any other openwheeler series?...

I cant say for sure, but in the past the attendance hasn't really been there for other open wheelers to justify it being a league car. If I remember correctly, last time the Dallara was used, there was only like 5 guys who showed up by the end.

Not saying that Thursday will forever stay F3, but right now that league is the healthiest attendance we have had late season and the competition has been pretty strong and the broadcasts have been entertaining.

I'm always going to keep my fingers crossed for a Fixed Indy League running a 50/50 split on road and oval. Hopefully we can pole current guys for future interest.

The problem we start to have is regarding available slot to expabd for a new series. The next day of the week available is Friday, and historically, Friday has never show good attendance. Should we start mixing in the same night road and oval series? I doubt its a good idea because we may impact series attendances.

So the drivers dont get a say anymore, as i thought we had a voting system to chose next car for next season, but i presume that system has been abolished as we have gone straight into the next season with the F3..

I wouldn't say that at all Rem. I would say the fact that nobody is clamoring for another car in the league threads shows us that we're listening to drivers and we are not just swapping cars for the sake of swapping. Of all 5 leagues, F3 was the only one not to have a huge drop in attendance the last couple races of the season. In the past, we put up polls because many people mentioned wanting a change of car (or because people just stopped showing up) and we listened and put up the polls. Nobody has asked for the change of car and the attendance has been solid. We all know how passionate you are about other open wheelers and nobody discredits you for that, but from a management standpoint why would we shake things up if its successful?

I'm not trying to start crap with you with my reply or call you out, but we always try to take in as much feedback as we can from our drivers, and this was just something that was not even on the radar of being an issue compared to others.

Can't argue with a 30 person grid this deep into the season.  Attendance has spoken when it comes to the F3.

Not saying I wouldn't like to drive the Lotus 79 or an Indycar.  But there's only so many days in a week and only so much money to produce a series.  But if you wanna start up a Lotus 79 series, let me know and I'll be there!
