What are you driving next season?

With 2022 S1 leagues now open for registration I'm curious what everyone else is thinking of driving? I've enjoyed the MX-5, but I think I need a change of scenery. I have 0 interest in racing the official Ferrari Fixed series as practice and the GT3 AM series starts a little late for me. I'd love to race the Porsche Cup, but I'm slow. I think I'm going to try F3. I understand the official series is a bit of a gong show, but I'm hoping league racing tidies things up a bit.

Advanced MX-5 2022 Season 1 schedule is on the forums for those interested. Looks like PRL will revisit 5 of the 10 stops from this season.

With my 3rd child coming sometime around the end of February/beginning of March, I have to reduce the number of nights I race to make my wife happy and give us time to get the house ready. I also have a pinched nerve in my neck that makes racing very painful and I can't get into the specialist doctor until February 10th to get re-evaluated so I can get another cortisone shot. So I'm just doing the NASCAR Cup Series and GT3 AM Series next season.

Me, next Season, I will compete in the MX-5 series again. The ferrari and GT3 series seem to be a little bit too rock n roll. And I'm not fast enough(i think).

As I know I won't be fast enough in the other series, I will probably do another season in MX5 and maybe try oval series with the truck. I race on Talladega and Daytona but I would like to gain experience on smaller tracks.

GT3 amateur is to late for me so I will probably be back in the MX5 series, I want to buy a round wheel to begin the nascar series, I would like to do some pick-up truck racing

Purpose of league racing is all about to race with the same people week after week so drivers know each other to provide clean racing

I went into this season knowing I was terrible in the Mazda but figured I would try. I seem to be getting better and getting better with my setups so I am going to give it another season

That's no excuse lol. I have 2 kids and I was racing in 6 different series across 2 leagues. Just gotta practice when they are napping and put them to bed before the race starts lol

Im at work 55 hrs week. I cant even get home in time for most of PRLs races.

It is true that with the jet lag your working day ends when we on the east coast have already finished our working day for more than 3 hours and are well rested before starting the race.

Here in Aus it’s in the middle of the working day. 12 midday is the start time for me. Lucky I am retired now

Can we confirm that this is the schedule for next season? If so is it in this order? I'd like to purchase the tracks needed ahead of time. Thanks and look forward to racing with you all again in a few weeks.
