Hey if anyone is around today I just put up a nice long early practice session at Spa. Still coming to grips with the new GTE cars so I need all the practice I can get. I also loaded the session with GT3 cars so there may be some randos in the session practicing for the 24hr race as well.

sorry I've missed both sessions - would have been good practice.

What kind of times are being run around here?

I was doing pretty consistent low 2:15s / high 14s after a few laps. The Ferrari feels amazing here

Thanks for hosting Justin! Couldn't make it last night but I'll try and host another practice session tomorrow night.
2:15/14? It looks like I'm about a 1+ seconds off the pace. I got some work to do.

Some fast driving Owen! Sorry I had to run and couldn't get in more than a few laps

I'll be putting up another Hosted at 9pm tonight if anyone wants to get some practice in

I'm going to have to settle for mid 18s for a consistent laptime. I know where I'm losing it, but its just beyond my ability.

See you guys Tuesday.

I don't about the Ford, but with the Ferrari at least it's all about balancing back and forth between the brake and throttle to keep the car settled. I was having a lot of trouble through the technical sections until I focused more on pedal inputs; it really helps to left foot brake and keep the car turning with the brake and throttle in this car to get the most speed out of it.

Yeah, I find that too. The car doesn't like to turn in that well, so a little bit of brake keeps the weight forward.

I've ordered a set of fanatec csl pedals, which I will have to get used go during this season, hopefully it helps and not hinders.
