[li][ID#: 119] The Stewards investigated whether a 10 second in-game penalty awarded to Murker1 when attemping to overtake Megaman at turn 3 on lap 9 was warranted. Despite Megaman momentarily losing the back end through turn 2, which marginally reduced his speed, the stewards felt that Murker 1 did cause contact after that. Though the contact was minor, it did significantly impact Megaman, and the Stewards felt Murker1 could have lifted to avoid it, and therefore the penalty was warranted.[/li]

[li][ID#: 126] For failing to adhere to corner rights rules at turn 1 on lap 1 by not holding the inside line when an adjacent car (nickthequick) had sufficient overlap at the turn in point and throughout the corner, farsite will be awarded a 20 second penalty.[/li]
[li][ID#: 126 Appeal] An appeal was submitted for the Stewards decision for this incident. An extended stewarding team reviewed the appeal and the original incident, and agreed that the original report was accurate. They felt it was completely evident that farsite did not hold his line, and he crossed over into the line that nickthequick was entitled to, forcing him off track. They also made the following points in response to the appeal. 1. nickthequick did go deep into the corner, but he was still forced off track and not given the outside line he was entitled to around the outside of turn 1. 2. If farsite felt he didn't have enough space on the right due to the proximity of Darklol, that does not allow farsite to drive into the line of nickthequick. 3. The previous stewards decision in no way indicated that nickthequick was ahead of farsite heading into turn 1; it only indicated that sufficient overlap was established, which means both cars are entitled to a line though the corner if sufficient overlap was maintained throughout the corner. 4. The amount of time a driver is penalized by is not intended to be representative of the amount of time another driver has lost as a result of a rule violation. It is intended to be representative of the severity of the violation and is intended to be consistent with other violations of this nature, and is determined via a stewarding penalty matrix. 5. There is no expectation that drivers stop racing in order to adhere to the rules, but with any corner, there is an optimal line, and when battling another car, sometimes you will be on the optimal line and sometimes you won't. When another car is in close proximity to you, you will at times have to make sacrifices in terms of speed and line; you cannot race as though no other car is there, but that does not equate to "stop racing". 6. In the appeal, "after turn 2" is mentioned, but this decision is based on turn 1 only - everything that happened after that is not part of this investigation. 7. The stewards also felt that farsite, in running off track, and not slowing appropriately for a corner, broke rule 13.6, as a position was gained.[/li]
[li][ID#: 128] Contact between iceman153 and nickthequick between turn 2 and 3 on lap 1 was investigated by the Stewards. Both videos showed a difference perspective of the incident, and neither driver broke any rules. The incident is deemed a sync issue, and no further action will be taken[/li]

[li][ID#: 140] The Stewards investigated contact between iceman153 and Darklol at turn 5 on lap 1. It occurred when Darklol was required to slow for an illegal overtake, and iceman153 passed him. While there is some minor contact on iceman153's screen, there does not appear to be on Darklol's screen, though the two cars are in very close proximity to each other. The Stewards noted that Darklol made an effort to get out of the way while he was required to slow, by driving close to the wall, but he actually made contact with the wall. This caused him to "bounce" off the wall, and this might have what caused the sync issue, and the game's perceived contact on iceman153's screen. In light of this being a sync issue, no action will be taken by the Stewards.[/li]
[li][ID#: 141] The Stewards investigated an incident between iceman153 and Darklol at the turn 13/14 chicane on lap 5. Darklol and iceman153 were side by side as they reached the turn in point for the chicane, so each driver was required to maintain their line though the corner. Darklol did not do this. Before the right hand part of the chicane, he crossed over to the inside line that iceman153 was entitled to, creating contact, and even making the apex, which he should not have been able to do had he maintained his outside line. He then failed to keep his car on track during the 2nd part of the chicane, having all four tires fully off track. On the corner exit, he ran wide, and again created contact with iceman153. In short, he did not slow appropriately for the corner considering there was another car alongside. In light of this, Darklol will be awarded a 20 second penalty.[/li]
