[li][ID#: 119] The Stewards investigated whether a 10 second in-game penalty awarded to Murker1 when attemping to overtake Megaman at turn 3 on lap 9 was warranted.  Despite Megaman momentarily losing the back end through turn 2, which marginally reduced his speed, the stewards felt that Murker 1 did cause contact after that.  Though the contact was minor, it did significantly impact Megaman, and the Stewards felt Murker1 could have lifted to avoid it, and therefore the penalty was warranted.[/li]

[li][ID#: 126] For failing to adhere to corner rights rules at turn 1 on lap 1 by not holding the inside line when an adjacent car (nickthequick) had sufficient overlap at the turn in point and throughout the corner, farsite will be awarded a 20 second penalty.[/li]
[li][ID#: 126 Appeal] An appeal was submitted for the Stewards decision for this incident.  An extended stewarding team reviewed the appeal and the original incident, and agreed that the original report was accurate.  They felt it was completely evident that farsite did not hold his line, and he crossed over into the line that nickthequick was entitled to, forcing him off track.  They also made the following points in response to the appeal.  1. nickthequick did go deep into the corner, but he was still forced off track and not given the outside line he was entitled to around the outside of turn 1.  2. If farsite felt he didn't have enough space on the right due to the proximity of Darklol, that does not allow farsite to drive into the line of nickthequick. 3. The previous stewards decision in no way indicated that nickthequick was ahead of farsite heading into turn 1; it only indicated that sufficient overlap was established, which means both cars are entitled to a line though the corner if sufficient overlap was maintained throughout the corner.  4.  The amount of time a driver is penalized by is not intended to be representative of the amount of time another driver has lost as a result of a rule violation.  It is intended to be representative of the severity of the violation and is intended to be consistent with other violations of this nature, and is determined via a stewarding penalty matrix.  5.  There is no expectation that drivers stop racing in order to adhere to the rules, but with any corner, there is an optimal line, and when battling another car, sometimes you will be on the optimal line and sometimes you won't.  When another car is in close proximity to you, you will at times have to make sacrifices in terms of speed and line; you cannot race as though no other car is there, but that does not equate to "stop racing".  6.  In the appeal, "after turn 2" is mentioned, but this decision is based on turn 1 only - everything that happened after that is not part of this investigation.  7.  The stewards also felt that farsite, in running off track, and not slowing appropriately for a corner, broke rule 13.6, as a position was gained.[/li]
[li][ID#: 128] Contact between iceman153 and nickthequick between turn 2 and 3 on lap 1 was investigated by the Stewards.  Both videos showed a difference perspective of the incident, and neither driver broke any rules.  The incident is deemed a sync issue, and no further action will be taken[/li]

[li][ID#: 140] The Stewards investigated contact between iceman153 and Darklol at turn 5 on lap 1.  It occurred when Darklol was required to slow for an illegal overtake, and iceman153 passed him.  While there is some minor contact on iceman153's screen, there does not appear to be on Darklol's screen, though the two cars are in very close proximity to each other.  The Stewards noted that Darklol made an effort to get out of the way while he was required to slow, by driving close to the wall, but he actually made contact with the wall.  This caused him to "bounce" off the wall, and this might have what caused the sync issue, and the game's perceived contact on iceman153's screen.  In light of this being a sync issue, no action will be taken by the Stewards.[/li]
[li][ID#: 141] The Stewards investigated an incident between iceman153 and Darklol at the turn 13/14 chicane on lap 5.  Darklol and iceman153 were side by side as they reached the turn in point for the chicane, so each driver was required to maintain their line though the corner.  Darklol did not do this.  Before the right hand part of the chicane, he crossed over to the inside line that iceman153 was entitled to, creating contact, and even making the apex, which he should not have been able to do had he maintained his outside line.  He then failed to keep his car on track during the 2nd part of the chicane, having all four tires fully off track.  On the corner exit, he ran wide, and again created contact with iceman153.  In short, he did not slow appropriately for the corner considering there was another car alongside.  In light of this, Darklol will be awarded a 20 second penalty.[/li]

[li][ID#: 110] The stewards investigated two minor bumps that PhilCiborowski received from behind at the last turn on lap 3.  The stewards didn't feel the bumps, believed to be from andresh86, negatively impacted Phil to any significant degree, and therefore, no action will be taken.[/li]
[li][ID#: 111] stavol23 was investigated for a potential unsafe track rejoin when exiting the turn 6/7 chicane on lap 13.  While stavol23 did run wide, the speed differential between he, and the cars on track, was not significantly different, and the rejoin was not deemed to be unsafe.  Though stavol23 did rejoin in front of PhilCiborowski, resulting in Phil running into the back of him, the stewards felt Phil did have an opportunity to avoid the contact and pass on the right.  No penalty will be awarded.[/li]
[li][ID#: 112] For blocking cars on their hot laps when exiting the pits in qualifying, DyDy2race will receive a 20 second penalty.  Because Dydy2race was not classified in this race, his 20 second penalty will be converted to a grid penalty for the next race (sit out qualifying).[/li]

[li][ID#: 120] The stewards investigated several instances of contact between BadAssJoe & jetiger at turns 11 through 13 on the final lap.  The stewards deemed the first instance of contact at turn 11 a racing incident; BadAssJoe established sufficient overlap at almost the same instant jetiger began turning, and it couldn't be distinguished which driver, if either, was at fault.  Furthermore, neither driver was significantly impacted.  In turn 12, jetiger clearly had BadAssJoe fully alongside of him on the outside, but he did not leave space at the edge of the track, and subsequently created contact and forced BadAssJoe off track which was a violation if 8.1.3 and 9.5.  For this infraction, the stewards are awarding jetiger a 20 second penalty.[/li]
[li][ID#: 121] The stewards investigated contact between jetiger and LAcadien at turn 8 on lap 28.  The Stewards judged that LAcadien, on the inside, established sufficient overlap well in advance of the turn in point for the corner, and jetiger was therefor required to maintain his outside line.  He did not do this, as he turned in on LAcadien which resulted in minor contact. In light of the contact being minor, jetiger losing out on the position, and LAcadien not being impacted, no action will be taken.[/li]

[li][ID#: 109] For not allowing himself to be lapped by Bilby at the earliest opportunity (on lap 13), larryfairman will receive a 10 second penalty.  Because larryfairman did not finish the race, this will be converted to a grid penalty (sit out qualifying) in his next race start.[/li]

[li][ID#: 124] The stewards investigated a qualifying incident where there was contact between tittiesprinkles & jackal78, which resulted in tittiesprinkles being awarded a 10 place grid penalty.  The Stewards felt this penalty was deserved as tittiesprinkles was moving very slowly on the racing line immediately prior to turn 1, while jackal78 was on a hot lap.  No further action will be taken.[/li]

[li][ID#: 133] On lap 3, Hu4ch017 received a drive through penalty from the game for an incident with DennyC.  While DennyC does appear to create minor contact with Hu4ch017 at turn 14, it does not disadvantage him at all.  At turn 15, Hu4ch017 locks up his front tires, goes too deep into the corner and it appears DennyC may have done the same.  At this point, Hu4ch017 receives a drive though penalty.  Though it appears to be undeserved, a drive through penalty cannot be removed.  Nothing DennyC did was deemed to warrant a penalty.[/li]
[li][ID#: 134] On lap 10, Hu4ch017 made contact with the wall when exiting turn 12.  While Hu4ch017's car was out of control, DennyC made a passing attempt, during which there was minor contact.  While the contact was considered minor and not worthy of a penalty, the game awarded Hu4ch017 an undeserved drive though penalty.  Unfortunately, drive through penalties cannot be removed.  DennyC was not deemed to have done anything to warrant a penalty.[/li]

[li][ID#: 146] For a bump pass on hu4ch017 at turn 1 on lap 1, in which he did not wait to give the place back, nascarman will be awarded a 20 second penalty.  Because nascarman was a lap down, and the impact of a 20 second penalty cannot be determined, the penalty will be converted to a grid penalty for nascarman's next race start, i.e. he will sit out qualifying.[/li]

[li][ID#: 155] The Stewards investigated corner cuts by nascarman at turn 7 and turn 8 on lap 26 which led to an advantage against Bobino12.  The stewards agree that nascarman cut the second part of the turn 6 / turn 7 chicane which led to him getting alongside Bobino12 (gaining an advantage).  For this, nascarman will be awarded a 10 second penalty.  nascarman was deemed innocent of a corner cut at turn 8.  Refer to ID#: 156 for more information.[/li]
[li][ID#: 156] The Stewards investigated a violation of corner rights by Bobino12 at turn 8 on lap 26 when nascarman had established sufficient overlap and was entitled to the inside line.  The Stewards determined that Bobino12 crossed into the inside line and left no space for nascarman.  The Stewards recognize that nascarman established sufficient overlap by cutting the previous corner as described in Incident ID#: 155.  However, this does not excuse Bobino12 for a corner rights violation, and consequently, Bobino12 will be awarded a 10 second penalty.[/li]
