Protests
[ul]
[li]All protests relating to a racing incident must be submitted within 48 hours of event completion. Protests that are submitted late will be dismissed.[/li]
[li]Drivers involved in an on-track situation are required to talk it over with one another first before turning in a Stewarding Protest. Take it upon yourselves to watch the replays, even in slow motion if needed.[/li]
[li]Protests that are incorrectly submitted or late will be dismissed. Please contact the Chief Steward directly if you are having issues making a submission before the 48 hour time limit.[/li]
[li]The driver being protested may be contacted by the Chief Steward if their PoV is deemed necessary, either by the website private message system or by email. The protested driver then has 48 hours to submit his/her own evidence. A ruling can be made by the Stewards without needing the Protested driver's PoV.[/li]
[li]The incident will be reviewed by the Stewards, and a decision will be announced in the respective championship’s "Stewards Reports" topic, along with the Incident ID.[/li]
[/ul]
Appeals
All appeals must be submitted within 48 hours of the publication of the Stewards Report as follows:
[ul]
[li]Send an email to stewards@precisionracingleague.com[/li]
[li]The subject line must be in the following format: Appeal: [Investigation ID][/li]
[li]List your PRL username in the body text[/li]
[li]Your e-mail must explain why you feel the initial decision by the Stewards was wrong.[/li]
[li]Appeals shall be reasonable, logical, based on sound evidence, and related to the PRL Racing Rules.[/li]
[li]Appeals that are frivolous, incorrectly submitted, or late will be dismissed. Repeated appeals of this nature will result in disciplinary action.[/li]
[li]Only one appeal per incident is permitted.[/li]
[li]The Appeal will be reviewed by an extended PRL Stewarding team, and a decision will be announced in the respective championship’s Stewards Reports thread.[/li]
[li]If a driver loses 2 Appeals in a 30 day period, they will have a 60 day ban placed on them before being able to Appeal another ruling by the Stewards.[/li]
[/ul]
Penalties
[ul]
[li]The penalties that can be awarded for infractions of the rules include time penalties, points deductions, position penalties, race disqualifications, grid penalties, race suspensions, or you may be made to start the next race from the pits.[/li]
[li]More severe penalties may be given in some circumstances. The PRL Stewards reserve the right to award any penalty they feel is appropriated.[/li]
[li]Some protests will result in a warning rather than a penalty, but a second warning within 3 months may result in a penalty.[/li]
[/ul]

Round 5: Spain - Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (24Oct18 @ 8:15pm AEDT)
[ul]
[li][ID: 595] The Stewards investigated a T4, L27 incident between HSVDT_15 and PureAxle2121. Upon review, both drivers POV's show different actions, with Pure's POV (the trailing vehicle), not showing any contact, nor a maneuver that the Steward felt would have lead to contact. This incident has been ruled a Netcode issue and no penalty will be awarded.[/li]
[li][ID: 597] The Stewards have investigated an incident between StewartMcKenzie2 and Gwads in T10 of L10. The Stewards have found Gwads as at-fault for creating the contact that damaged Stewart's front wing. The Stewards also have found that the contact was created by Gwads losing the rear of his car when trying to accelerate on curbing, and it was not due to an action of illegal blocking or malicious nature. Since it is a driver's responsibility to maintain control of his car, the Stewards have awarded Gwads a 1 point penalty. [/li]
[li][ID: 598] The Stewards reviewed an incident between El Majacko and Kartdude45 at the end of the race. The Stewards have found Kart at fault of an illegal block attempt that created contact with Majacko that wrecked his car. The Stewards have ruled that Majacko was too far back and the position would not have changed hands, so there is no need for this to be a timed penalty against Kart. But due to creating contact in a dangerous fashion, The Stewards have awarded Kart with a 2 point penalty.[/li]

Round 6: Monaco - Circuit de Monaco (31Oct18 @ 8:15pm AEDT)
[ul]
[li][ID: 600] The Stewards investigated an incident between StewartMcKenzie2 and El_Majacko entering T10 on L32. The Stewards have ruled that Jacko did not have overtake at the braking or turn in point, and therefore at fault in this incident. Due to position not changing hands due to the contact, the Stewards are awarding Jacko a 1 point penalty.[/li]
[li][ID: 601] The Stewards investigated contact that happened on the exit of T1 of L1 between PureAxle2121 and El_Majacko. The Stewards have ruled that Pure did not leave sufficient space to Jacko who was right next to the wall. So due to initiating contact, PureAxle2121 Will be awarded a 1 point penalty.[/li]
[li][ID: 602] There was a request to review if StewartMcKenzie2 unsafely left pit road on L32. While Stewart's left side tires did cross the pit line, it was not 100% clear if the right side tires crossed or not. Due to this, the Stewards will resort to the game penalty system since pit lane exit is controlled by it.[/li]
[li][ID: 603] The Stewards investigated a report of StewartMcKenzie2 crowding approaching T5 on L32. The Stewards have ruled that there was just enough of a car widths worth of room given to Jacko, and Jacko touched the wall first before the car width's worth of room came into question. There will be no penalty awarded by the Stewards for this investigation.[/li]
[li][ID: 604] The Stewards investigated contact between Purregold and El_Majacko on in T1 of L34. The Stewards noticed contact between the 2 on entry, which then lead to the contact on exit. Pure gave up the spot to Majacko on exit not knowing if he forced Majacko fully into the wall or not. Due to the close nature of that racing and Purre's sportsmanship after the exit contact, the Stewards have ruled this a racing deal and no penalty will be awarded.[/li]

Round 7: Canada - Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (14Nov18 @ 8:15pm AEDT)
[ul]
[li][ID: 617] There was a request made for the Stewards to remove an in-game corner cut time penalty that was awarded during the race. It has long been the stance of the Stewarding team that we do not remove in-game time penalties due to the fact that the game does communicate with other drivers if a driver was given a penalty, and they may not try to make an overtake thinking they only need to be within a delta to gain the position. We also have multiple options in the game that is in the league rules for how strict we want the game to look for corner cuts, and we all agree to go by that setting and have the game police it. With that, there will be no removal of an in-game time penalty.[/li]
[li][ID: 620] For impeding another MightyMurph51's timed lap while not being on a timed lap himself during qualifying, Chremma79 is awarded a 1 point penalty.[/li]
