Protests
[ul]
[li]All protests relating to a racing incident must be submitted within 48 hours of event completion. Protests that are submitted late will be dismissed.[/li]
[li]Drivers involved in an on-track situation are required to talk it over with one another first before turning in a Stewarding Protest. Take it upon yourselves to watch the replays, even in slow motion if needed.[/li]
[li]Protests that are incorrectly submitted or late will be dismissed. Please contact the Chief Steward directly if you are having issues making a submission before the 48 hour time limit.[/li]
[li]The driver being protested may be contacted by the Chief Steward if their PoV is deemed necessary, either by the website private message system or by email. The protested driver then has 48 hours to submit his/her own evidence. A ruling can be made by the Stewards without needing the Protested driver's PoV.[/li]
[li]The incident will be reviewed by the Stewards, and a decision will be announced in the respective championship’s "Stewards Reports" topic, along with the Incident ID.[/li]
[/ul]

Appeals
All appeals must be submitted within 48 hours of the publication of the Stewards Report as follows:

[ul]
[li]Send an email to stewards@precisionracingleague.com[/li]
[li]The subject line must be in the following format: Appeal: [Investigation ID][/li]
[li]List your PRL username in the body text[/li]
[li]Your e-mail must explain why you feel the initial decision by the Stewards was wrong.[/li]
[li]Appeals shall be reasonable, logical, based on sound evidence, and related to the PRL Racing Rules.[/li]
[li]Appeals that are frivolous, incorrectly submitted, or late will be dismissed. Repeated appeals of this nature will result in disciplinary action.[/li]
[li]Only one appeal per incident is permitted.[/li]
[li]The Appeal will be reviewed by an extended PRL Stewarding team, and a decision will be announced in the respective championship’s Stewards Reports thread.[/li]
[li]If a driver loses 2 Appeals in a 30 day period, they will have a 60 day ban placed on them before being able to Appeal another ruling by the Stewards.[/li]
[/ul]

Penalties

[ul]
[li]The penalties that can be awarded for infractions of the rules include time penalties, points deductions, position penalties, race disqualifications, grid penalties, race suspensions, or you may be made to start the next race from the pits.[/li]
[li]More severe penalties may be given in some circumstances. The PRL Stewards reserve the right to award any penalty they feel is appropriated.[/li]
[li]Some protests will result in a warning rather than a penalty, but a second warning within 3 months may result in a penalty.[/li]
[/ul]

Round 3: China - Shanghai International Circuit (04Oct18 @ 9pm EDT)
[ul]
[li][ID: 585] The Stewards investigated a L23 incident between AerosStrike and Odemdemz98. The Stewards have found both drivers to be of violation of racing rules (Aero for losing control of his car accelerating on curbing, and Odemz for crowding on corner exit) which both played a part into the exit issue which lead to the contact and spin. Since both Aero and Odemz had offsetting violations, the Stewarding team has ruled this as a racing incident and neither driver will be awarded a penalty.[/li]

Round 5: Spain - Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (25Oct18 @ 9pm EDT)
[ul]
[li][ID: 599] The Stewards investigated late race contact that resulted in a change of position between Aledi88 and KDawgHonda777. The Stewards have found Aledi as at-fault in creating contact, and gaining the position due to the contact. The Stewards have awarded Aledi a 3 point penalty. [/li]

Round 8: France - Circuit Paul-Ricard (15Nov18 @ 9pm EST)
[ul]
[li][ID: 619] The Stewards investigated an incident between Sold1ersix and ProwlerXYZ in T8 of L5. The Stewards have ruled that Prowler had the rights to the inside line of T8, and that Six turned in too sharp and initiated the contact. Since neither driver sustained damage and Prowler gained the position,  the Steward have ruled this a racing deal and no penalty will be awarded.[/li]

Round 17: Japan - Sazuka International Racing Course (06Feb19 @ 9pm EST)
[ul]
[li][ID: 659] The Stewards investigated an case of unsafe track re-entry exiting the final chicane on Lap 2. The Stewards have found Aledi at fault for forcing evasive maneuvers while reentering the track. The Stewards have ruled this as a Minor penalty and award Aledi88 a 3 point penalty.[/li]
