Round 8: Great Britain - Silverstone Circuit (19May18 @ 7pm BST)
[ul]
[li][ID: 539] The Stewards investigated contact between ownHvB and FFlair in T15 of L3. Flair had a run on the straight leading into T15 and Own protected the right side of the straight. Flair took the left side and pulled up wheel to wheel with Own by turn entry. However, Flair turned in before Own which created wheel to wheel contact and caused Own to spin. The Stewards deemed that Own did not turn too late, and was entitled to his line at the point of contact. So for creating contact, FFlair will be awarded a 2 point penalty. There is no additional point awarded to Flair for not giving the position back because the video that was given for review could not show if there was an attempt to give the spot back or not.[/li]

Round 10: Italy - Autodromo Nazionale Monza (9Jun18 @ 8:20pmBST)
[ul]
[li][ID: 543] For driving in too deep, creating contact in T1 of L1 and forcing another car off of the track and gaining a position from it, OldSkool3000 will be awarded a 3 point penalty. (Division 2)[/li]
[/ul]

Note from the Stewards: I understand that the contact set off a chain reaction event, but I hope everyone learned about the need for patience and better situational awareness after that mess. I don't even know what else to say. If you find yourself off of the track for any reason, it is solely your responsibility to re-enter in a safe manner, regardless on how you ended up off of the track in the first place. The Stewards do not hunt down infractions, we only review what is sent in. I'm sure if we had more inquiries get sent in, there could have been maybe 10 different penalties handed out on that first lap alone (contacts, crowding, unsafe re-entries, illegal overtakes, ect). Again, I really hope everyone learned from that mess and moving forward we can see clean starts to the race.

Round 11: Belgium - Circuit de Spa Francorchamps (16Jun18 @ 7pm BST)
[ul]
[li][ID: 544] The Stewards are awarding a 2 point penalty to CloudyBalloons on behalf of the League organizers for violation of Rule 1.7 (excessive talking during the race). The organizers have issue warnings in the past, and the distractive communication in open chat at Spa has resulted in a penalty after those warnings. Any future issues can result in stiffer penalties, including suspension if deemed necessary.[/li]

Round 13: United States - Circuit of the Americas (30Jun18 @ 7pm BST)

Division 1
[ul]
[li][ID: 551] Due to giving away a position at the end of a race that would have impacted the Championship battle between the 2 contenders, Michemery will be awarded a 1 lap penalty against his time at Circuit of the Americas for going against PRL's ideals of Code of Conduct. The Stewards also support Michemery's decision to impose a 1 race ban upon himself for his actions in the heat of the moment at the end of the CotA race.[/li]
[/ul]

Division 2
[ul]
[li][ID: 546] The Stewards investigated a report of blocking on the pit straight of L3/L4 involving Aldooro99. Aldo used a late brake manuever over V5HRL in the final turn, and was the leading car down the straight. Due to the late brake, V5 had a better run on the straight and was looking first to the right side, then to the left side to establish overtake. In both cases, Aldo made moves both times to protect, which is a blocking manuever since you are only allowed to make one protective move as the lead car down a straight. So due to an illegal block manuever, Aldooro99 will be awarded a 1 point penalty.[/li]
[li][ID: 548] The Stewards investigated contact between Aldooro99 and V5HRL in T13 of L11. V5 was the lead car going into the braking zone with Aldo more than a car lengths back. Aldo went for a late brake move to the inside in which he did not have rights to that line over V5. Wheel on wheel contact happened and Aldo gained the position over V5, and did not give the spot back before entering pit road later in the lap. So due to creating contact to gain a position that was not returned, Aldooro99 will be awarded a 3 point penalty.[/li]
