Round 2: Road America (06Nov17)
[ul]
[li][ID: 446] There was a Stewards Protest sent in against the Project Cars 2 game for unfairly applying a 30 second penalty to a driver who left the track to avoid an accident. It has always been the standard of the Stewarding Team that we will not overturn a game assessed time penalty due to the issue that it communicates penalties to the other drivers, which may impact the way they race due to thinking they just need to stay within a delta and not necessarily have to overtake another driver. The final results will remain as it is.[/li]

Round 5: Brno GP (04Dec17)
[ul]
[li][ID 461] The Stewarding Team and Leadership of PRL have reviewed the replay and actions of Apollopt during the Brno GP. Apollopt has been found guilty of purposely and vengefully wrecking another driver multiple times during an official race. The Leadership has a 0 tolerance policy for this type of behavior and have handed Apollopt a lifetime ban from PRL competition. His results from Brno have also been Disqualified.[/li]
[li][ID: 462] The Stewards investigated an accident that happened in Turn 5 (lap unknown) between Apollopt and Yarmolenko9. Apollo was battling another driver in Turn 5 when he lost traction on exit and did a 90 degree spin. Yarm closed up on Apollo and T-boned him. Had Apollo held the brake in his position, the accident would have been deemed a racing incident. However he got on the gas and into the path of Yarm, who was trying to take the inside line to avoid Apollo. While Apollo has been banned so no penalty is necessary, the Stewarding team felt like this situation was worth noting so other drivers may know the appropriate action to take if they find themselves in a similar situation.[/li]
[li][ID: 463] The Stewards investigated a report of Frantaito crowding Yarmolenko9 off of the track between Turns 5 & 6 on Lap 2. It can not be deemed that Frank forced Yarmo onto the curbing on corner exit or if Yarmo went onto the curbing himself to try to carry more speed. The 2 drivers battle side by side the previous 2 corners, so this was not a case of either one making an illegal blocking maneuver. The Stewards have deemed that while more respect and space could have been given, this event just hard, close racing since neither driver made an illegal act and no penalty will be given.[/li]
