Season Settings

[li]Server: US-MA[/li]
[li]Race Day / Time: Sunday. Practice session starts @ 6 PM EST (10 PM GMT). 140 minute practice, 5 minute qualify, up to 95 minute race.[/li]
[li]Cars: NASCAR Xfinity Chevrolet Camaro / NASCAR Xfinity Ford Mustang / NASCAR Xfinity Toyota Camry[/li]
[li]Setups: Open Sets[/li]
[li]Weather: Dynamic Weather[/li]
[li]Track State / Marbles: 0% @ Start of practice, and then qualifying set to 30% and carried over into the race session.[/li]
[li]Starting Type: Rolling Start per Qualification order.[/li]
[li]Start / Restarts: Initial Start is on Green Flag. All restarts are at leaders discretion.[/li]
[li]Fast Repairs: 0 - Fast Repairs[/li]
[li]Assists: No Assists /Clutch assist OK[/li]
[li]Fuel Load: 100% Fuel Load[/li]
[li]Incident Limits: Unlimited (*more info below)[/li]
[li]Internet Connection: Must have stable connection & adhere to directions given if connection problems exist.[/li]
[li]Schedule / Season Make-Up: 12 weeks, plus 1 All-Stare Race. All participants will be allowed to have 1 Drop Week.[/li]
[li]Regular Season / Chase For A Champion Play-Off's: First 8 - Points earning races set the field for the Chase Play-Off's. Race Winners, and anyone in the Top 12 will have a chance to race in the play-off's following the conclusion of Round 9 @ Texas.[/li]
[li]Chase For A Champion: Consists of 4 rounds. (Phoenix / Watkins Glen / Kentucky / Chicagoland). Best driver over 4 rounds wins the title. (If you have missed more than two races you don't qualify.)[/li]

Entry Requirements
[ul]
[li]All participants MUST use a wheel and pedals. Controllers, touch or Mouse is NOT allowed.[/li]
[li]All participants are required to use PRL's Team Speak server, and must be logged in at the start of the race.[/li]
[li]Set your Teams Speak nickname to your name and car number. (ex. Chris Perez #41)[/li]
[li]Must enter with the car number you signed up for the season with.[/li]
[/ul]

Voice Chat Rules for iRacing and Team Speak
[ul]
[li]Refrain from speaking to the general lobby during Qualifying.[/li]
[li]Utilize Whisper on Team Speak and/or iRacings private channels to communicate to teammates/friends.[/li]
[li]All are to be in one of the rooms under the Sunday Oval Series Channel.[/li]
[li]Follow instructions given by Organizers, Management.[/li]
[li]Be respectful to other participants. Cursing out, yelling, calling names, etc. Will Not Be Tolerated.[/li]
[/ul]

Series Rules
[ul]
[li]Drop Week - Over 8 weeks, each driver is allowed to drop their lowest scoring race. This also includes any events you may have missed. Drop weeks are automatically applied after the final race of the regular season. No drop weeks during the chase this season.[/li]
[li]Incident Limit: 
[ul]
[li]Unlimited for the race session, but there is a season max cap at 35 incidents. Once a participant has reached 35 incidents, they will be parked by Organizers/Management for 1 race. [/li]
[li]Upon returning, that individual will have their incident total reset to 0. But will be on a 2 race probationary period.[/li]
[li]If any participant has a 0 incident race, they will receive a 5 point deduction from their incident point total. (ie: If you have 12 in one round, and then have 0 in the next. You will have 7 incidents going into the third round.)[/li]
[li]Any participant can Voluntarily miss one event to reduce their incident total by 5 points. The Organizers and/or Management must be notified prior to race day.[/li]
[li]All Participants will have their incident levels reset to 0 once the Chase begins.[/li]
[/ul]
[/li]
[li]Race Starts and Restarts: No passing before the Start/Finish Line, and No 3-Wide into T1/T2. Only exception is if trying to avoid piling up the field.[/li]
[li]Self Spins: Any participant that has 2 - Self Spins during the race session, that brings out the caution, will be instructed to park their car. [/li]
[li]Wrecks / Towing: If your car cannot maintain speed following an accident, be respectful enough to Tow your car back to the pits.[/li]
[li]Internet Connection / Blinking Car(s): Drivers that are experiencing connection issues, will be instructed that there is a Ping issue. At that time, the driver(s) are to safely fall to the back of the pack that they are currently in. And see if the problem corrects itself. If the problem persists, the driver(s) will then be asked to pull down onto pit road and see if they can then resolve their problem. [/li]
[li]Entering / Exiting Racing Surface: Always enter and exit the racing surface in the appropriate locations. Avoid stopping on the racing surface. (ie: Exiting pit lane on the backstretch.)[/li]
[li]Racing Etiquette: Follow All iRacing Sporting Code. Lap down car(s) are to give way to Lead Lap car(s).[/li]
[li]Yellow Line: There will be No-One allowed to use the apron to make passes. (Daytona / Talladega specific)[/li]
[li]Pit Road: All car(s) are to stay to the Right while going down Pit Road.
[ul]
[li]1st Offense - A warning will be given. (single session)[/li]
[li]2nd Offense - Driver will receive a 2 point penalty. (single session)[/li]
[li]3rd Offense - Driver will receive a 5 point penalty. (single session)[/li]
[li]Pattern - If a pattern is being seen, Organizers and/or Management, reserve the right to further penalize the individual(s). (ie: Parked for a race and/or probation)[/li]

[li]Pulling Over on Pit Lane: You are allowed to Qualify, and then pull to the side on Pit Lane starts. If you do decide to fall to the back of the pack at the start of the race, and are the cause of an accident. You could possible receive a severe penalty.[/li]
[li]Black Flag(s): Black Flag(s) can be cleared, if deemed appropriate.

[li]Reasons To Clear A Black Flag:
[ul]
[li]Using Pit Lane to avoid an accident on the front stretch.[/li]
[li]Clipping Pit Lane while trying to avoid an accident.[/li]
[li]Receiving a Black Flag for passing a car under yellow, when the car causing the issue should have Towed.[/li]
[/ul]

[li]Championship scoring system[/li]
[li]Drivers must start the race and run a minimum of 10 laps to receive points which will be determined by where they finish.

[li]Incidents Bonus points:[/li]
[li]3 incidents and less = 1 Point (must complete 10 Laps)[/li]

Chase For A Champion:
[ul]
[li]Following Round 9 the Top 12 in points will be eligible to participate in the Playoffs. [/li]
[li]Race Winners during the regular season will get into the Chase.[/li]
[li]Remaining spots will be filled in by regular season points.[/li]
[li]Top 12 will have their points set starting at 1000 points, and go down from there. (ie; 1st - 1000 pts, 2nd - 998 pts, 3rd - 996 pts, etc.)[/li]
[li]Following Round 2 of the Playoffs, the bottom 6 of the contenders will be dropped from the championship picture.[/li]

This was already a rule/in the rules but lacked definition. Corrected.
