Season 6 Practice Schedule

With Season 5 in the books, here is the official Season 6 scheduled practices. Please note that all sessions hosted by PRL for the Season 6 will be private.  The password will be prl. Sessions will begin at 8PM Eastern, Saturday night, and will ALWAYS be under hosted.  The names to look for on there practices are myself and Jerome.  If another League member hosts a practice they will post it here, please DO NOT put unnecessary posts in here as we want to minimize the traffic so people can find the information when needed.

I will be hosting our Season 6 kick off practice this coming Wednesday April 5 at 8PM Eastern.  As always session will be under hosted with the normal password as this is a closed practice to league members only.  Remember practices are not mandatory but HIGHLY encouraged so that we can all get a feel for one another.

It will be setup as a 60 min practice, 2 lap or 5 min qualify, followed by a 55 min timed race.  I will also give us 1 quick repair since it will be the first instance in a few weeks where new and old drivers will be on track together.  

Finally, be sure to look over the new rules again as there were some drastic changes in points, penalties, and season ending penalties.

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow I will be hosting our season opening practice session at Daytona. Session will be up at 8PM Eastern. Hope to see you there, please make sure you are on TS for the session. If you are unfamiliar with TS now is the time to get use to it cause it's what we use during the season unless the server is down like 3 times last season

First practice for Daytona is tonight. Normal password applies, session will be up at 8PM Eastern under my name in hosted. We will have a 60 min practice, 5 min quali or 2 laps, followed by a 55 min race with 1 quick repair. For those who did not make the roster or new members signing up like Jason and Reece feel free to join us and get some seat time in with the league.

The season kicks off this weekend.  We have 2 practices in place for this weekend prior to the race.  First practice is the official PRL practice tomorrow night at 8PM Eastern.  The second is our usual 2 hour practice on Sunday at 6PM Eastern just prior to the race starting.  The Saturday practice is a simulated race scenario where we will have a practice, qualify, and race.  The Sunday practice is strictly a 2 hour practice session with most likely a few pit parties.

All of these practices are closed to league members only.

I highly encourage people to partake in one or both of the practices as we do not use the default Daytona setup and if it's as hot as it was on Wednesday the cars are pretty slippery light on the rear end.  Had multiple instances where cars spun out with  minimal and sometimes no contact.  Would highly encourage people to make one of these.

Also there will be an email being sent out tonight or tomorrow but we will have our usual SEASON OPENING MANDATORY MEETING on Sunday at 7:30PM Eastern.  THIS MEETING IS MANDATORY FOR ALL DRIVER WHO ARE ON THE DRIVER LIST FOR THIS SEASON.  In this meeting we will go over all the changes (quite a few), rules, and open up to anything that people want to ask or add.  Again this mandatory an we do it every season to set the book straight.

Well, our break is over and time to get back on track. Tonight we will be hosting our usual Saturday closed practice. Normal time 8PM Eastern and the normal password applies. In addition to that I will be hosting the 2 hour Sunday practice as well with our normal time and password.

Remember that we have a break week due to Memorial Day, next race here at Road America on June 4th.

For those who are available, we are hosting 2 x 4 hours' session on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th at 6pm EDT.

We are hosting a free 4 hours' practice Wednesday June 21st at 6pm EDT in favor to built a setup for the next race at Auto Club Speedway!
