Hey guys,

Starting now, Discord will no longer be mandatory to join on race night. The organisers' meeting will be held on iRacing voice-chat.

Why? This season we have near 200 drivers to manage across all series! It become almost impossible to manage Discord for Organisers. They could spend an hour making sure everyone is on Discord, making sure everyone is in the iRacing channel for meeting, making sure drivers respect having their full name as nickname, etc...

In the past, Discord was mandatory because:
[ul]
[li]Post-race interview for broadcast was done on our Voice system.[/li]
[ul]
[li]Now, the top-3 are invited to join GSRC Discord channel.[/li]
[/ul]
[li]In the past we had series for F1 20xx, Assetto Corsa and Project Cars. The rules was applied to all the series across all games.[/li]
[ul]
[li]Now that we focus on iRacing only, we can use iRacing chat.[/li]
[/ul]
[li]Discord was mandatory in case we had specific instruction to give.[/li]
[ul]
[li]Now we can do it on iRacing voice chat.[/li]
[/ul]
[/ul]
We are still inviting drivers to join our Discord to discuss with other about the race and/or to practice!

I remind you that team channel can be created on Discord. Please contact your organiser if you want to create a channel for your team.

Thanks!
