New to this league and looking forward to racing, I've been driving in another league where we've had to set all cars to default setting as soon as we enter qualifying. Im hoping we don't have this issue in this league and we are free to setup cars as we like.

What are your ideas exactly....
One thing I really like about having the "fastest leaders" in there, is watching what they do and the lines they take. invaluable!

Exactly, personally, I always like to drive with faster driver as I'm improving from there. When I'm the faster on track, I might less improve.

We have not think about kicking the fast guys out... I'm pretty sure you are thinking about not allowing P1 and P2 from past seaosn to team together.

I was in one league that ran two races per session, and the winner of one goes to the back, and the loser goes to the front of session 2. BUT, I hated it because I didn't like fast guys on my ass on cold tires at the start. It really didn't serve any good purpose in my opinion.

Reverse grid required manual rolling start, and it's sometimes hard to manage...

Well personally I think it's someting you should talk all together and not make a rule about it. Some people here are friends in real life so its just understandable if they team together. If we force them to not team together, I'm afraid to loose them. It's all about communication IMHO. I think that this must be an initiative from the members and not a rule. But I'll discuss that with your organizer.

I think you must learn more about the history of this series before judging it. As you could have noticed, it's season 9, so we have had 8 season before. As stated by undeadskydiver in the next round topic, he and mcnasty have been teammate for more than 6 season and it's the first time they are dominating. If you want, send me a PM and I'll share you all results of all other season we have had. We have had fantastic and close battle. It's the first time in this series that I saw a domination like that. Do we need to make a special rule just because it happens one time? I don't think so. But like Chad said, he's willing to change team and I'm pretty sure is willing to share about setup.

Communication, yes it's the key, this is why we have a forum. Everyone who signed up have access to gamertag of all drivers who have signed up as well and they can add each other on XB1 to practice. PRL put all the tool and communication system on place to make everyone communicate together and practice. PRL cannot start to play "babysitting" to force everyone to become friend and practice together. We all have a life and commitment, and sometimes it's hard for some members to be more present and available, and we understand that. At this point, it's up to the group.

Am I reading your post... yes... Just so you know, I'm the owner and director of PRL! I've created and managed more than 50 championships here. I've seen a lot of successful and unsuccessful championship. For example, we have an iRacing Series on Sunday that have started with 10 drivers a year ago, and now we are more than 20 per week, broadcasted online on iRacing live and we have more than 400 view per week. I spent around 20 to 40 hours per week to work on the league willingly + my real life job. Usually, I know exactly what PRL need and what's the best for the league. But don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I'm always right, I made mistake and I'm always open to discussion and ideas. After reading your post, I had the feeling that I don't care about XB1 ApCS, but I do care about ALL PRL championships. Ask Chad and I'm pretty sure he will confirm everything I said here.

So do we need to change the rule just because we have had 1 "dominating team" in the championship? I think no. If it happens for a second season, be sure that I'll be aware of that as I'm always looking at ALL the results of all 14 championships that we have actually.

If you have any specific idea, I am willing to listen to then and send me a message.

Another thing that is important to know is that those fast drivers have been playing Project Cars since it's release 2 years ago, so they got a lot of experience. It seems that we have here a lot of new drivers here so don't expect to win, it will be almost impossible. But with practice and help, you will improve! Real racing fans don't really matter to win or not, they want to have fun and race in a clean environment which I think PRL provides. Personally, I've been part of exciting championships in which I've never achieved a top 5 and I still enjoyed those races. I prefer to finish P12 and have had fantastic fight than finish 1st or 2nd and alone on track. Personnally, I don't put a lot of importance on winning, having fun is more important to me 😉
