Updated to fixed setup!

Why?

I know how to build setups to road, but not to oval. Since I have a lot to learn, I should be happy because this is a main oval league and with fixed setups and maybe I would be more competitive since now. But I'm not. If you dont build your setups you are throwing away part of the simulation, because every driver around the world has to work on getting his car better. This is part of racing. It is a core stuff. For example, Pagenaud makes his setups based on what suits him better and Power goes for the fastest one. This clash of ways of work is so nice to see in race, and by extension at simulation also.

So since now all the races will be fixed setups?

Carlos, we are doing this because not all the drivers have time to sit around and build setups. Some people have 3,4,5 kids, going to school full time, family responsibility, full time jobs etc so they don't necessarily have the time to spend on building setups. This is the whole reason iRacing provides Fixed Setups because they understand this.....

I have a daugther, wife, family, full time job, have to travel twice a week and because of that I cannot spend hours building setups. But bucause of that I'm always improving my efficiency to do it. It is hard to compete with a guy from a bigger team, but this is part of the game. It is how racing is in real life and should be at simulation.
As you said, iRacing has a fixed setup with a bunch of races almost everyday, so I don't see a reason to join a league to do the same. I will not commit part of my free time to a league that is doing what I can do without any commitment.
Thanks for your time creating this championship, but I'm out.

It's exactly what I expected you to say. Not everyone is here to compete as a REAL DRIVER.....OR TO COMPARE themselves to real drivers.....some of us are here to just simply have fun and race with friends week to week. If you want to be out then so be it, your choice, guess you are not one of those who likes to race and have fun with a community of friends. Good luck in whatever league you join next.

After review with the management team, as Sammy said in the poll topic, we are going back to open setup.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and let's hope we have a fantastic season :)
