Alrighty, so it looks like all the pit road bugs have been worked out, so we are going back to our customary rules:
- Fuel Consumption will be turned on. GT3 cars can not add fuel and change tires at the same time, so the pit stops would be very long. Add as much fuel as you need into your set-up to make it to the end of the race
- Tire Wear is back on. We will use the accelerated option.
- Mandatory pit stops are back on. You will need to pit once during the race and change tires. You must enter pit road before taking the white flag or else the game will DSQ you. Speeding onto pit road will DSQ you. There are game penalties for crossing the pit exit line too early, so make sure to practice all aspects of pit stops.
***I highly recommend making a new pit strategy every race so that way you are guaranteed to have the right tire pressures for your pit stops. Also super important, make sure change the option for "Change Tires" from "recommended" to "ALL". Recommended might not change all of the tires for you and force you to make another stop. You also shouldn't have to add any fuel to your stop as long as you started with the right amount.**

Here are some good videos in regards to pit stops:

We are always open to looking at all rules to make sure everything is optimized for the league. As for tire wear, we can definitely look at testing. From a league standpoint though, if we continue to have people be able to 1 stop races without sacrificing the integrity of the race, to me that would say that accelerated would still be a viable option. Conserving tires is just as much of racing as flat out raw speed is. Good tire wear won me a championship lol The patch is still new and we are all still re-learning the cars and what works best over long runs. This will be something though to look at over our 2 week break coming up.

I was thinking along the lines of in a 30 lap race conserving so that instead of mid way the pit would come with 10 or so left and that would make it more exciting not bitching or pressing just wondering what could be lol

It seems the patch made it a bit more difficult to conserve to halfway which us a good challenge I guess I was hoping it would have went the other way which I think would make some more interesting racing ...the guys that flag out haul it would maybe rethink that strategy to have fresh tires towards end? Idk you have proved my theories not completely thought out before lmao so maybe I don’t have the full scope on this but I’m down for any testing let me know!

What I didn't realize until last night now makes it more needed to have it on accelerated rather than normal. Mandatory pit stops only require that you stop and not that you change tires. On normal, no one would really need tires.

It would pretty much require that everyone would need to show videos of them taking tires since the broadcaster view does not show tire changes at all. I would not ask this, nor would I take the time to watch all of the videos. So we shall leave it on accelerated and with the mandatory stop.
