1) The next race on the calendar is Brazil.  How do you like this track?
i really liked it back in 2013 when it was higher down force, now not so much as it doesnt flow well, so should be good next year
2) It is hard to not think about Senna when we are racing at Brazil.  How do you rank him all time?

for me when you put him on the track and forget about the other stuff and when theres just pure racing, he is the most complete driver through out for me and he would of won even more world championships if he stayed alive long enough. Not only on the track but off the track what he stood for and his general demeanor had a big affect on me, hence why all of my helmets from when i started playing f1 were senna themed

3) McLaren has the most wins at the Brazilian GP.  When do you think they will be back to their winning ways?
No clue not looking good tho

Pre-Race Interview:
1) The next race on the calendar is Brazil.  How do you like this track?
For some reason in the Codemaster's games I have always been a bit down on pace.  In other games I seem to be more on it.

2) It is hard to not think about Senna when we are racing at Brazil.  How do you rank him all time?
For pure raw speed and pace I think he is probably been the quickest driver of all time, although with that comes some mistakes and also some incidents.  I would still probably rank him best of all time.

3) McLaren has the most wins at the Brazilian GP.  When do you think they will be back to their winning ways?
I really hope that next year they can, hopefully it will be before the new engine regulations because that is still a few seasons away.  It would be great to have a 4 team battle for the championship!

I'm not a huge fan of this track. It really doesn't like cold tires at all. I get way too loose right after pitting. But, this will be my first race switching from the controller to the wheel. Hoping to not have too many issues, I'm a little slower right now with the wheel but more consistent.
2) It is hard to not think about Senna when we are racing at Brazil.  How do you rank him all time?
All-time I think he'd need to be ranked top 5. Once you get to those rankings it just gets too tough to really pick 1 all out top but top 5 is a good spot to place him I think.
3) McLaren has the most wins at the Brazilian GP.  When do you think they will be back to their winning ways?
As soon as they get away from honda engines I think it will be a massive improvement. Not sure what's going on but honda just has not gotten it figured out recently at all.

I've never been strong at all on flowy tracks like this, and Sector 2 will be my downfall. Just hoping to keep all parts on my car this week and not be a hindrance to anyone. Maybe try to gain a few spots by attrition.

2) It is hard to not think about Senna when we are racing at Brazil.  How do you rank him all time?
As a pure wheel man, among the greatest of all time. As a race driver, his fearlessness (and recklessness) kept him from dominating in a way that he could have.

3) McLaren has the most wins at the Brazilian GP.  When do you think they will be back to their winning ways?
Hopefully before Alonzo bolts for good lol

Bad. Pls no.
2) It is hard to not think about Senna when we are racing at Brazil. How do you rank him all time?
Well he wasn't the best in his era, so already 2nd behind Prost, then you have to place people like Clark, Fangio, Brabham, Ascari, etc above him, and by the time all the eras are covered, he's probably around 25th. A bit reckless, had God on his side apparently, basically a successful Maldonado. When I think of Brazils best drivers I think of Piquet and Fittipaldi.
3) McLaren has the most wins at the Brazilian GP. When do you think they will be back to their winning ways?
I hope soon, as they have two of the most deserving drivers on the grid, but in all likelihood, Honda may be too stubborn to get help that it may require a Mercedes in the back to bring some good results again.

It's not my favorite but I do like it a lot. Hard to imagine the calendar without it.

2) It is hard to not think about Senna when we are racing at Brazil.  How do you rank him all time?

I liked the movie/doc but I have a feeling if I was watching him race live I would think think he was a lunatic. All time rank would probably be in the top 15 somewhere.

McLaren has been my favorite team since day one and I adore Honda. This has been brutal and has seemingly gotten worse. Fingers crossed it gets better. The Indy Car program has turned around maybe that'll translate into something. Maybe.

Q: 2nd
Put in some decent laps and was happy to showcase our speed with a front row lockout for Dubzzy and I.

R: 5th
A huge disappointment and loss of points. Latency it seems took me out at turn 2 and allowed several of my rivals to escape up front. I fought my way from dead last to the points pretty quickly, but it soon became apparent how much time I'd lost as Forza Alonso emerged from a pit stop right behind me. I performed a standard 2 stop by the time the SC came out and had recovered to 5th with dszman ahead of me. I should have known from his history what to expect, but at the restart he braked on a straight, presumably because he had illegally overtaken a lapped car before the SC line and made my right end plate completely red. He ended up out of the race, but more importantly, rendered my chance of further progress impossible. The damage I received not only cost me 4th position to Dubzzy but the chance to attack the top 3. At the time, I had newer tyres and quite the pace advantage, so the win was more than likely. Dszman also caused the retirement of mebbe last week, so I'm hoping he's eventually going to stop being a liability around championship contenders. Incidents like this lose championships. I view this as a 17 point loss. Not impressed.

Q: 12th

R: 10th

If I pushed my hardest, I maybe could have snuck into 10th for quali, but I was content to start 12th and get those fresh tires right off the bat to help with a decent-pushing 2 stop strategy. Off the start, I gained a couple positions due to the fast light and some T1 contact, and settled into 10th place once everything sorted out. (Note to JDub, I caught curb exiting T4 and power wiggled hard, sorry for making you check up.) Was going with the Med., Hard, Med. strat, and that safety car caught me out on the Hards, so from that point I had to put on my other Mediums and then swap to Softs with 6 to go. Lost some key track position (and 4 spots) also after the SC due to a pass penalty on a AI car at the same time that DSZ ate the wall. That lost time cost me a shot to race for 8th at the end of the race. Pretty tight battle with Brain to end the race with. I've never felt comfortable at Brazil, so I'm happy to walk away with a point.

I messed up hardcore. While attempting to come out to put in an actual lap. I slipped coming out of the pits and smashed my car before I could even get a time in. I thought it would be a sign of bad luck for me.
R:11
All in all this was a great finish for how slow I am at this track. With this being my first full race on the wheel and no longer on the game pad I feel this was a HUGE victory for me. Since going to the wheel my time has dropped slightly but my consistency has picked up. The SC came out at the wrong time for me as I only had like 30% tire wear on my hards and couldn't make mediums work all the way as I was on my 2nd set of hards (Tried to go hard>med>med but had to go hard>hard>soft) so I had to stay out and on the restart after a few laps my tire wear showed through and I had a mini off that got me loose and almost into Aaron and Brian. Thankfully I missed those guys but came up on aaron in turn 1 a bit too fast and even more thankfully we only touched sides and no damage to either of us. After all that I was thankful to finish just out of the points.

I would highly recommend watching the last 6 laps of this race, it was probably the best racing I have had in this league on PS4.  I wish I didn't get pushed out when overtaking for the lead on the next to last lap as I felt I left plenty of room.  I know Mebbes tires were gone and he is one of the cleanest racers here, but it definitely stopped me fighting for the Win!

Qualy: P5
I did not have the pace over 1 lap.  I must have went the wrong way with setup for that.  P5 was probably the best that I could hope for.

Race: P2
The Race was pretty insane.  Majacko has some lag and spun off, and then Meebe quickly was right on the back of me.  He passed and then it looked like Aaron and him had a moment on the start/finish straight.  I actually just avoided him it was scary.

From there I was managing the softs well and keeping pace in Meebes slipstream.  As the Pitsstops cycled Aaron was right behind me.  He over took me but then I was able to take him back.  Mebbe came out of the pits right behind us and then he got past me in DRS again I was in his slipstream until the Safety Car which was nice because I was going to pit on that lap anyway.

That led up to the epic 3 way battle with Mystic and Mebbe.  As Mystic was battling Meebe they slowed eachother down and I was able to get by Mystic although he did not make it easy as we went 2 wide through multiple turns.  Very clean racing here with him.  Then Meebe was next.  I got a good run on the next to last lap, but see my comments above.  Great racing though and I would advise to check out the video as it was really intense!!!  Great job to Mystic on winning and meebe on our photo finish for P2 and P3.

Definitely will be a race that stands out to me every time I go back to Brazil from now on lol
