1-Last week we were in Baku. How was your race ?
Pretty good. Major accidents from the top drivers gave me the chance to get real good points.
2-This week were in Austria at the Red Bull Ring . How do you like this short track ?
I like it but never had great success there.
3-Five months  until the next Formula 1 season , what race series will you be watching in the meanwhile ?
None. Only one exception : PRL.

At least I finished.  I missed my braking zone a few times and had to pit 3 times to change my front wing.  All things considered, 7th wasn't too bad and I stayed ahead of Tron in the standings (I know he'll get me soon).

2-This week were in Austria at the Red Bull Ring . How do you like this short track ?
I really like this track, but I'm not very good at it.  I've also not practiced nearly enough, so once again, I just hope I finish and don't hurt anyone else's race.

3-Five months  until the next Formula 1 season , what race series will you be watching in the meanwhile ?
What is there to watch during the winter?  I'd love to see how you guys answer.

It was great! Managed to get through turns 1 and 2 without damage to bring home a quiet P2.

I very much like this track, but consistency is an issue for me here, especially on worn tires.

I like to watch online league racing on the F1 games, it will be fun to catch up on a few favorites.

The AOR series are really well done and by far my favorite to watch, I will catch up on those first! I see some of the PRL leagues have broadcasts, I will check those out too.

Not any good. I hit my teammate and failed to finish for the third time this season.

I think short tracks are better. For this track, the elevation changes in some corners affect the lines you can take. I find the middle sector hard to be consistent on, because those long corners require very precise lines in order to keep your momentum.

I don't watch Formula E, so no racing. I'll spend the break catching up on some games I want to replay.

Painful - average start, avoided the T2 massacre and was up into a podium position before T3 - somewhere between T2 and T3 I was hit with a drive through for passing under a yellow...no idea how it happened, didn't make a pass.  Lost focus, bumped my wing but couldn't pit to fix it until I served my drive through, just downhill from there.  Just for Dark, at the end I pitted for a new-ish set of US and dropped in the fast lap (I think?) :)

It's good, I need to stay out of the city for a little.  Just got my shifters and installed them so excited to race.

I don't really know which ones are running, I'm sure I'll find something good.  If it hasn't already happened, I live about an hour and a half from the Pikes Peak Hill Climb so I would like to go check that out.  Formula E or did the season already end?  What is there to watch???

Frustrating resolution to that one, but still a great result. Got some video of what happened to my pedals, I have no idea exactly when they started acting up, it was sometime after T2 on my in lap. Went from 19 seconds up on tron to 3 seconds down by the time i realized and re-plugged the pedals back in... Anyone know of an overlay that will show your throttle/brake inputs? I prefer using cockpit view, so I cant see the HUD :(

Anyway, felt good to finally have some decent race pace, and I can't complain about 2nd. see you guys next week.

So first off, while I am able to record my races, my hard drive is low on space so I won't be recording until I get a new one.

Anyway, qualifying was disappointing because I went too wide on turn 1, which invalidated my lap. I get that the game is strict on track limits but running wide in that corner is always slower. My first lap was a banker lap, but my other two attempts were invalidated so my first time was my only time.

As for the race, I ended up not taking on intermediate or wet tires because I thought that the rain wouldn't last long. This isn't China, though. There are too many fast corners that you lose a lot of time in the wet on dry tires, so it was the wrong decision to not pit for tires. I ended up finishing a lap down and in 10th place.

I'm still getting used to the position and force feedback of my new wheel. I practiced on Hungary since that will be my next race and so far my new settings have been good for me.

I made the exact same call.  I decided to gamble and not pit for intermediate tires.  I did a one stop race and ended in 5th, but would've been higher if I had pit for the right tires.  I lost a ton of time.  I only finished so high because I never spun.

Here is my race at Austria.  I gambled with staying on dry tires through the rain.  I don't do terribly, but could have been much higher up the grid.  The race starts at 2:37.  My favorite overtake was at 4:13 on my teammate MBr.  I have some iffy moments with Tron and Megaman.  Sorry for that, but it was fun racing.
