Definitely going to be a fun one with the light rain during the final 3rd of the race.

Feeling comfortable in the car has been rare for me in project cars. This track I was able to actually feel comfortable. Only had 1 real issue when I spun in front of my teammate. I made an attempt at taking hard compound tires all the way to the rain but unfortunately that did not go to plan. I should've planned on a 2 stop race the whole time and went soft>soft>rain. But after my first stop and putting on softs I was catching the guys in front of me. During my second pitstop I was informed by my engineer that we had some gear box issues and my heart sank thinking my race was over. Ended up coming out of the pits and I had put on inters thinking I'd be good to go to the end. Near the end of the race I felt I should've put on full wet tires. But all in all I'll take 10th even though it was thanks to Jobes having to retire near the end of the race. I can say this was the most comfortable I've felt in the car since we did the endurance race at laguna seca back in March.

I thought that soft tires could handle the light rain and obviously they didn't. The grip was impossible and when the rain showed up I almost lost the car in turn 1, then I saw walk away my chances to win, because in order to finish safely, I had to pit again to put on intermediate tires. However, this 3rd place and the 7th place of Hootius is a nice result for the team.
