1) Next up is Russia in Sochi. How do you like this circuit?
I really enjoy this circuit. Most races we've held here have been very competitive and enjoyable. I also feel my pace is decent so I'm hoping to continue my recent success.

2) Speaking of Russian drivers, Kyvat has finally had a better week in Spain. Do you feel like he still deserves a seat in F1?
I don't think he does, but i just don't like the guy!

3) If you could choose to drive for a real life F1 Team, which team would you choose?
Hard not to say Ferarri with all their history. But I'm going to say Haas. I just really want to see an American team have success with an American driver! What we saw with Mercedes last year with German Rosberg winning for German Mercedes.

1) Next up is Russia in Sochi. How do you like this circuit?
Its a bit rubbish. I have alright form there, but its just a little boring and is prone to corner cutting mayhem.
2) Speaking of Russian drivers, Kyvat has finally had a better week in Spain. Do you feel like he still deserves a seat in F1?
His form has been very strange. He looked fantastic in his first stint at Toro Rosso, but was obviously very lackluster at Red Bull. I think other drivers should be given a shot in his place, but he isn't the least deserving driver on the grid either.
3) If you could choose to drive for a real life F1 Team, which team would you choose?
I'd choose the one with the best form, but if I didn't know the competitiveness, it'd be either Ferrari or McLaren.

1) Next up is Russia in Sochi.  How do you like this circuit?
Really, I only raced the circuit once in a career mode race. I will absolutely no expectations going into this race.

2) Speaking of Russian drivers, Kyvat has finally had a better week in Spain.  Do you feel like he still deserves a seat in F1?
I haven't paid any type of attention to him to have any sort of true opinion. I will say this though, if Stroll has a ride in F1, then anyone can have a ride in F1 lol

3) If you could choose to drive for a real life F1 Team, which team would you choose?
Ferrari. Schumi in that beautiful red car is what got me into F1, and all the prestige that comes with that manufacturer.

I don't mind this circuit too much. The only spot I really don't enjoy is the slight left turn you need to make while in DRS and start braking for the chicane. When I first started playing I was having a hell of a time keeping my car from slamming the wall causing terminal damage. This will be interesting.

While having a good week in Spain he did DNF at Monaco. But at the same time, who would be his replacement? I'm not sure that his replacement could perform any better than him currently. At the end of the season if he has yet to bring it back to form I could see them giving up his seat to someone else.
3) If you could choose to drive for a real life F1 Team, which team would you choose?
Ferrari or Mercedes would be the absolute top picks for anyone for obvious reasons. However, I would have to pick Haas. An American team with an American driver? What's not to love?

Meh

2) Speaking of Russian drivers, Kyvat has finally had a better week in Spain.  Do you feel like he still deserves a seat in F1?

as of right now no, but do i think he had the potential to be something great, yes. Unfortunately for kyvat confidence and no pressure is two things he needs to succeed and in f1 you need both of those to be firing on all cylinders and since he dropped his head ever since the redbull saga, i dont ever see him regaining  that form he had in 2014 with toro rosso as his mental psyche just wont allow him too. Confidence is everything, no matter what sport/ game you are playing even if you are not good your confidence can make you better than the people with talent while i do think kyvat has this, imo kyvat kinda reminds me of this pro player in counter strike named device, he was in a team for a few years that was ok but was never really winning any big tournaments. mainly because him and some of his team mates were choking losing confidence and felt under pressure at the later stages of the tournament, although the talent was there the same thing kept happening tourney after tourney, they would get to semis, then look like a scared and completely different team. They have now won a CSGO major a few minors all within 7 months of getting a Sports psychologist and atm look unbeatable in the big LAN tournaments and device is now one of the best awpers in the world ( snipers) and in my opinion its the only way kyvat will be able to regain that 2014 form as hes not someone who can mentally reset so seeking mental help i think is the key for kyvat

3) If you could choose to drive for a real life F1 Team, which team would you choose?

Well ive never really followed a team more the drivers thats been in them, so i guess id just choose the fastest right now, so ferrari

I like this track. Majacko is right about the corner cutting.

2) Speaking of Russian drivers, Kyvat has finally had a better week in Spain.  Do you feel like he still deserves a seat in F1?

If Palmer and Stroll have a spot, Kyvat definitely deserves a spot. I honestly cannot believe Palmer and Stroll are actual F1 drivers. I would imagine they can't either.

3) If you could choose to drive for a real life F1 Team, which team would you choose?

Life long McLaren fan but Haas would be very cool.

Bounced pole position between Mystic and myself, eventually slightly in my favour.

R: 1st
Lead into T2 and after the opening complex. Mystic was the only car to keep up and we made slight contact at the end of the second DRS straight. I'd say racing incident, but either way it put him back to 3rd. Eventually he caught up again, seemingly quicker on super softs. I had to defend hard until the pit stop phase in which he attempted an undercut. He had a stop go penalty, negating the undercut and leading to a 5 second lead which I maintained for the rest of the race. I believe I shuffle up to 2nd in the championship after mebbe's retirement, which I'm fairly happy with. A double podium for Mercedes is also fantastic for the team.

Q: 11th
Actually the best lap I had all week by a long shot, so pretty pleased with the groove I was in heading into the race...

R: 12th
Had a clean start and gained a couple positions before going into the curved straight leading into S3. I did not want to make it 2 wide, but I had to go side by side with JDub in turn 12 or the car behind would have moved into to overtake me. I did not know Dub had wing damage, and as soon as he got on the breaks going into Turn 13, it slid him into me and we both made pretty solid contact with the wall, both losing a section of our front wings. No foul, just what happens in a gaggle of a pack like we had going into that tight section. Had to pit at the end of L1 and fix the wing and put on Mediums to try and make it all the way to the end. Very boring riding around with no one to battle while on the crappiest tyres lol I was in prime position to hit the pits and save the race on the safety car... if only it was a full and not just the virtual :( Put on Softs and rode it home. Gained a few more spots when peeps had to pit late. Oh well.

Q: 5th
Got about all I could out of the car. The guys in front of me are just faster here.

R: 4th
Very happy with the result. I unfortunately got an orange left side of my wing going into turn 1 as Mebbe in front of me broke a bit earlier than I expected. That had me quite a bit slower for the entire first stint. Had an outstanding battle with nickthequick and gordow that lasted for a solid 5 laps. After pitting and taking on a new wing I put in some fast laps and had 6th place locked up. Then unexpectedly nickthequick pit due to some contact on track. That put me up into 5th for the moment as nick came out on fresh super softs and was only about 9 seconds behind with 8 laps or so to go. dszman unfortunately had a dc with a few to go and I was able to run just fast enough to finish ahead of nick. Lucky to get the finish I did but I'll take it. Now makes my last 3 races 3rd, 3rd & 4th.
Congrats to El_Majacko on a solidly run race. Also happy to see my teammate back on track and on the podium tonight. Good recovery from Dubzzy tonight as well.

Pretty normal for me to qualify near the back.
R: DNF
Had some good battling going with my teammate and Clogmonger early. On lap 6 while trying to overtake clogmonger in the 2nd DRS zone I took it too close to the wall and busted loose just a touch and smacked the wall, resulting in wing damage and a left rear puncture. Figured I would pit and put on mediums just to finish the dang race and make up whatever time I could. Was gaining massive ground on KWP and Sassafrass only to come up to my least favorite section of this track (who am I kidding my least favorite of the game) and got loose only to have it catch on my correction and sent me into the wall ending my race completely (sorry hootius I guess I didn't hit the wall hard enough for a full safety car, only a virtual one  ) . Glad we are finished in Russia, but Brazil is on my shit list of tracks as well so I'll be spinning some laps this weekend to get ready.
