Pre-Race Interview:
1) This week we are at Azerbaijan.  How do you like this street circuit?
2) There was plenty of incidents at the real life F1 race here this year.  How will you try to avoid having an incident this week?
3) Hamilton had a 5 grid penalty for a gear box last week, as Bottas has one for this week.  What is your opinions of teams getting penalties for infractions like this?

Man, I wish I could race in this one. I kind of like this track. However, I don't think I will be getting my new Corsair PSU in time. You guys have fun and be safe out there. Baku is one of the most unforgiving tracks on the F1 circuit. Good luck guys:)

1) This week we are at Azerbaijan. How do you like this street circuit?
Its like Monaco but actually fun, there's places to overtake and some actual high speeds! Its good for a street circuit.

2) There was plenty of incidents at the real life F1 race here this year. How will you try to avoid having an incident this week?
Making sure that overtakes i attempt are in places which reduce the risk of myself spinning, no silly dive bombs into a chicane or squeezing down high speed straights stuff like that.

3) Hamilton had a 5 grid penalty for a gear box last week, as Bottas has one for this week. What is your opinions of teams getting penalties for infractions like this?
I think its important to have rules like this in place to stop teams with more budgets just replacing and getting new fresh components each race or even each day. It gives a more even playing field in an already team based sport.

1) This week we are at Azerbaijan.  How do you like this street circuit?
I feel  that is very boring track but I am fast on it.

2) There was plenty of incidents at the real life F1 race here this year.  How will you try to avoid having an incident this week?
Qualify in the front few rows. That is the only way to stay safe. Turn 1 is a nightmare if you qualify in the midfield and will almost certainly trigger a safety car.

3) Hamilton had a 5 grid penalty for a gear box last week, as Bottas has one for this week.  What is your opinions of teams getting penalties for infractions like this?
I feel that the system is perfect the way it is. I strongly disagree with Martin Brundle and the people at NBC when they say that drivers should not be penalized for problems with the car. F1 is a team sport and always has been. Reliability and performance are part of the challenges of the engineering side of the sport. If they don't want the car impeding drivers racing then we should just turn F1 into a stock racing series where the engineering side of the sport doesn't exist.

I agree with you regarding the engineering side of stock car racing.  Other than the restrictor plate "engineering", what else is there.  Also, Martin Brundle is nothing but an F1 politician, lol

I actually love this circuit. Hard braking points i love
2) There was plenty of incidents at the real life F1 race here this year. How will you try to avoid having an incident this week?
Qualify as best I can
3) Hamilton had a 5 grid penalty for a gear box last week, as Bottas has one for this week. What is your opinions of teams getting penalties for infractions like this?
I don't like it but its difficult to find another way to penalize a team

Pre-Race Interview:
1) This week we are at Azerbaijan.  How do you like this street circuit?
I really do not like this track.  I am not sure what it is, but when I compare my TT times on most circuits I am around Top 100, but here, its much lower.

2) There was plenty of incidents at the real life F1 race here this year.  How will you try to avoid having an incident this week?
I think the smart thing is to stay calm, don't make mistakes and overtake on the huge DRS straight or wait until someone in front makes a mistake because it is easy to!

3) Hamilton had a 5 grid penalty for a gear box last week, as Bottas has one for this week.  What is your opinions of teams getting penalties for infractions like this?
I don't think that the drivers should take penalties, instead it should come in terms of constructor point penalties, like 10 points each time they have to replace an engine part over the limit.

1) This week we are at Azerbaijan.  How do you like this street circuit?
I don't mind tracks like these. Every track has it's own challenges, this one happens to have a lot of sharp turns and heavy braking zones. Not to mention the walls with little room for error in some spots.

2) There was plenty of incidents at the real life F1 race here this year.  How will you try to avoid having an incident this week?

I'm going to change my approach a little for this race. I haven't been able to finish a race lately so I will give up positions if I need to as long as i stay in the race. Might even finish in the top 5 if I'm able to stay out of trouble and make few mistakes.

3) Hamilton had a 5 grid penalty for a gear box last week, as Bottas has one for this week.  What is your opinions of teams getting penalties for infractions like this?
My answer will be the same as nick's. It's a team sport so penalize the team but let the driver chase for the driver's championship at least.

Ok so my graphics card quit on my at the start of the race. It kept cutting out and after I avoided a collision with Pat, my screen cut out entirely because of all the particles flying in the air and my graphics card was sucking too much power plus the power needed for my wheel. It seems as tho I need a new motherboard that can distribute power more efficiently. I have an i7 4770 but it's from an alienware computer so this motherboard wasn't designed to handle an EVGA 970.

Anyways, I'm thinking of leaving this league. Its just not fun anymore. I understand accidents happen but this frequently is too much. I'll still stay active on here in hopes of things getting fixed but really, I've had enough.

Also, sorry to everyone if I bumped into you at some point. Reason is because of what I said above. If I managed to avoid you guys, good. I'm glad.

Is what Darklol did under safety car allowed. The Sporting regulations for Formula 1 have this in the Safety Car section,

"Drivers must not drive unnecessarily slowly, erratically or in a manner that could be deemed potentially dangerous to other competitors. Drivers may not pit, unless it is to change tyres. They are also not permitted to overtake, except if another driver in front enters the pit lane or slows with an obvious problem."

Darklol drove EXTREMELY slowly on the straight in order to allow his teammate to have a guranteed lead coming out of the pit lane. As AtomicTurtle said when he was driving right behind him, that they both must have had a positive delta of over 2 or 3 seconds on the straight. That is definetly unnecessarily slowly.

I'm checking out of this season until 2017 comes out. I'll check in around then. I've got better things to do with my life than to practice for a race only to have something silly happen first lap. Good luck in the championship peeps

The reason why he did that is we were going to try and double stack in the pits but then he decided better against it as he wanted to go and try and put on the Mediums so he would not have to pit again.

The game will actually give you a penalty if you are going too slow behind the safety car for too long and tell you to speed up and catch the safety car.  I had to serve a 5 second stop and go penalty added to my pit stop because I was giving too much room to Dark on the 2nd safety car lap.

As far as PRL goes, I do not believe that there is any rule for that, but you can send it to the stewards if you want.  In the end it would not have effected anything because I would of had enough gap to come out first anyway.  Its not like real life F1 how they can really mess up the pit stop, I have only seen variations from 1.9 to 3.2 seconds and I should of had at least everyone covered by that as Dark was out of my DRS range for P2 and then however far you guys were back.

Deadzero... If you have problem with your graphic card, it may causes sync issue or other problem. So please don't think other drivers drove badly because it may be related to your issue...

All drivers who mentionned to leave this league, be aware that all new drivers who signed up for the next season will have a seat before you. We are looking for drivers who are ther 100% of the time and not quitting during the season.

Im not going to submit a stewards report if its not in the rules because if there is no rule against it is a legal tactic. Im not trying to cause arguments, i was being genuine when i was asking if it was allowed or not. I read the rules and didnt see it so i asked.

Edit: I know you had us covered if u pitted but what i thought was kind of cheap about it was that it forced us to go in the pits because it would have been close for us to be ahead of you when you exited the pit lane.

Oh I gotcha, didn't actually think about what would happen if you stayed out, but yeah no worries that is definitely a legitimate question to ask because it was a bit cheeky indeed :p, I wonder if you would have beat me out anyway, I think the safety car is faster than the pitlane speed.

yea, i dont know if i would have or not but it would have been somewhat close so during the race when i didnt have the exact times it was way too risky to stay out because i couldve ended up behind you and had old tires. It all ended up working out fine anyway. I pitted while in p4 and came out in p4.

I don't blame anyone for anything. The reason I'm not having fun is on the game side, not because of who I'm racing with. My screen literally went to black and wouldn't turn back on. Had to hard reset my computer. Project Cars was way better online than this game so I don't know why that series ended and this one is still active. Project Cars had a few sync issues but from what I remember it was mostly because of the people in South America. Never had sync issues with racers in north America.

I'm willing to have a few practice races on Project Cars and retest the online stability of that game.
