Well, got fired ("budget cuts") this morning, so I guess I have more time to practice!

(Don't suppose anyone needs a Senior IT Project Manager in the middle of a pandemic...)

Sorry to hear that.  I’ve seen a bunch of those jobs posted where I live, but I’m guessing Seattle/Bellevue isn’t an option.

Yeah, specially not with green cards and immigration getting closed

The biggest kick in the pants is that I was already working from home for 5 weeks, so I don't even get the change of scenery joy of not having to drive into the office now that I'm unemployed!  :p

Pre Race Questions are up !

1) As we head to silverstone which track layout do you prefer, the old version or the new version?

I’ve always liked Silverstone, and I prefer the OG layout is hat i know better.

2)With only a few weeks remaining do you feel like your gaining knowledge of the Cayman, and is it getting easier to get it setup each week?

Each week i do great in practice, and choke in the qualifying session? Then the race starts and i feel like im in a completely different car and have no pace? Im still trying to figure out rear grip for this car, im looking for that golden setting.

3) Have you been watching any of these live tv IRacing events, if so which are you enjoying the most?

I watch here and there, i have no favorite really, but i think its great to see what we do hitting the main stage!

1) Not a fan of this layout. It has terrible flow and too many awkward corners. It's just not fun to drive. The new layout is much better.

2) I've gotten pretty comfortable in the Cayman. I like that so far it seems like the setup doesn't need to be changed much track to track. I mostly just adjust tire pressures for track conditions.

3) I haven't really watched anything. Some youtube highlights, but that's all.

Also, I'm calling myself out for (again) forgetting to write the interview questions. Tatas on a bull, this guy.

1) As we head to silverstone which track layout do you prefer, the old version or the new version?

Well, I seem to be getting the hang of this layout, finally averaging sub-2:00, and even hitting a 1:57 last night.  And, since I have barely raced the new version, I guess the old version takes it!

2)With only a few weeks remaining do you feel like your gaining knowledge of the Cayman, and is it getting easier to get it setup each week?

I'm starting to get the hang of it better, specially in the long carousel-type corners.  A lot less spinning out there.  Now, if I could find a way to quit using the tires up after about 20 minutes...
(It seems to have helped losing my job in the middle of being legally forbidden from leaving the house.  I highly recommend it if you want to improve those lap times!)
3) Have you been watching any of these live tv IRacing events, if so which are you enjoying the most?

Nope, been pretty much all Netflix all pandemic.

1. The old layout. The new has crappy flow and I just don't like it yet.

2. My lack of results has nothing to do with the car. The loose nut between the seat and steering wheel is to blame.

3. I watched a few of the Indycar events. The F1 events suck due to the platform they are using and even worse for the MotoGP events. Good to see everyone making the best of a stupid government and medical professional forced screwed up situation.

I prefer the old version! I hate first sector of the new one!

2)With only a few weeks remaining do you feel like your gaining knowledge of the Cayman, and is it getting easier to get it setup each week?
I'm not doing any setup except for brake bias and TC. I have the feeling I'm reaching the maximum I can do with this car. I'm better with car with better grip I think hehe

3) Have you been watching any of these live tv IRacing events, if so which are you enjoying the most?
Not really, don't have time for that 😜

Pretty uneventful evening for myself, managed to keep it clean for the whole race(for a first 🤣). I had fun trying to figure out how i was going to get around Mr Delp, hard to pass for sure. I tried the pit early and maybe snag the spit that way, it didn’t work 😁. I also ran the baseline setup last night instead of the VRS and i was very pleased! VRS setups are just a bit wild and unstable at times. I was more consistent, and my finishing position wasn’t affected really either, I would say my pace hadn’t changed.

Had not planned on racing this week anyway.
Planned on spectating.
But still resetting my body clock from the 24.
I took a nap @ 6PM. Woke up and it was 11:30 .

Pre Race Questions:
1) As we head to silverstone which track layout do you prefer, the old version or the new version?
Old version-this one sucks as most have stated

2)With only a few weeks remaining do you feel like your gaining knowledge of the Cayman, and is it getting easier to get it setup each week?

In the Wk 13 races, the car felt really good to me. Have not been able to come to terms with it, but I've been putting all the time I have to practice in the AMG.

3) Have you been watching any of these live tv IRacing events, if so which are you enjoying the most?

Have all of the recorded, but only watched a few. I like the IROC series. Alway fun to guess what Scott Speed is going to do next. Then the Pro Invitational . Since Timmy Hill can't get a decent ride for real. It's nice to see him and his team getting some airplay.
