BOLD PREDICTIONS:

-A large collection of broken front wings creates an impenetrable carbon fiber barrier in turn 1

-ForzaAlonso is passed on the last lap by Mario and Luigi after he runs over a banana peel

-The pole position lap time is 2.5 seconds faster than mine, and I throw my PS4 at the first child I see walking in front of my house

Excited to light a stick of dynamite and hold it in my hand.

2. How has your season gone so far through 5 races? Better/worse than your pre-season expectations?
NIGHTMARE! This has been a season to forget so far.

3. Favorite food/drink involving Pumkpin?
Pumpkin pie, only on thanksgiving with a craptastic amount of cool whip.

This is a very intimidating track, for sure. Combine it with this years wider cars and things don't look great for me this week. I'm most concerned about Turn 8 before the tunnel. I keep coming in a little too tight and it snaps my front end directly into the inside wall.

2. How has your season gone so far through 5 races? Better/worse than your pre-season expectations?
Better than expected! I got the D1 promotion after week 3 and had a decent debut race in week 4. I never could get the hang of Spain, and lost a minuscule amount of front wing in lap 1 of the race. So little, actually, that my dudes in the pit didn't even bother replacing it when I went in. But that little bit unsettled the car so much I was a gear lower than I needed in every turn. I had to force the change and go back in the next lap. My race was done at that point so I ran laps hoping I could find my way in the points. Didn't quite get there. Following that performance with Monaco isn't helping much either.

3. Favorite food/drink involving Pumkpin?
Yeah, pumpkin pie. I don't quite understand the whole pumpkin spice trend, lol. It's good, but I want my coffee black and my beer hoppy. mmmm, beer!

I don't know if excited is the right word.  It feels good if you can quali good and keep a clean nose.  If you can't then I feel like this track is a nightmare.

2. How has your season gone so far through 5 races? Better/worse than your pre-season expectations?
It has been fairly disappointing for me thus far.  I have had one race ruined by a default set up glitch, and last week I had some contact that ruined my strategy.  I missed one race and probably was off the pace for the rest.

3. Favorite food/drink involving Pumkpin?
Probably those pumpkin lattes.

Definitely looking forward to it. One of my favorite tracks to drive in the game.

2. How has your season gone so far through 5 races? Better/worse than your pre-season expectations?

It's gone much better than I expected it would.

3. Favorite food/drink involving Pumpkin?

Roasted pumpkin seeds

This week was all about glitz and glam..... and nerves of steel as the F1 crew tackled the famed streets of Monaco!! Edwin Garcia (ForzaAlonso14) is looking to defend his Monaco title after winning the race and clinching the championship here last season.

As qualifying began, we immediately saw Conner Stanek (McSendit) jump out on the track and put a lap down before the traffic got heavy. This worked out hugely in Conner's favor as he set the Pole Lap right out of  the gate. It was looking pretty comfy for Conner with almost a .5 sec lead over everyone, up until the very last when Brad Colli (Bcolli187) jumped up into P2, a mere .060 secs off of the Pole. Nicholas Delp (NicktheQuick), Cameron Eplion (Cameps), and Edwin rounded out the Top 5 in quali.

In a survival race like Monaco, the start is the key to the race as clean, open track is how to land on the Podium. No one got a better start, nor ran a more perfect race than Conner, who lead wire to wire and took home the checkered flag by a dominating amount of time over the rest of the field. While Conner may have taken away any drama for P1, the rest of the field experienced Monaco in the fullest as all but 3 drivers had to change at least 1 front wing, and the viscous street course claimed 6 victims. 2nd place was taken on pit road, as Cameron pitted 1 lap earlier than his counterparts he was battling with from P2 to P5, and used that extra lap of clean track to be able to put a gap between himself and Edwin, who would cross the finish line to claim the final podium spot. In a race that was trouble for most, Kyle Spencer (KDawgHonda777) was able to maneuver around the course and pick up 6 position and earn the Hard Charger award for the race. Ric Migneault (LanceStroII) may have had a rough race, but was able to put down a great lap and take the Fast Lap award of the race.

**Top 10 Finishing order for Monaco**
1. Conner Stanek (McSendit) - 4th win of the Season
2. Cameron Eplion (Cameps) - 1st Career Podium!!
3. Edwin Garcia (ForzaAlonso14) - 6 for 6 on Podiums this Season
4. Kelly Hansen (SweetTooth182) - Best Career finish
5. Nicholas Delp (NicktheQuick)
6. Mitchell Riggs (MitchMan009)
7. Jon Pfeiffer (AerosStrike)
8. Brad Colli (BColli187)
9. Jarrod Bruno (Jrod15243)
10. Kyle Spencer (KDawgHonda777)

After 6 rounds for the Driver's Championship, it is currently just a 2-man race. Conner Stanek (McSendit) was able to extend his lead over Edwin Garcia (ForzaAlonso14) to 20 points now after his Monaco win. Jon Pfeiffer (AerosStrike) sits 3rd place in the points, 77 back of Conner.

For our Team championship, the 1-2 Monaco finish for the Mercedes (Conner and Cameron) opened their lead up to 64 points now over the Ferrari (Edwin and Aaron Webb).

Next week we head to just about as opposite as you can get of Monaco, as the crew heads to Canada to tackle to very fast Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Each Thursday at 9PM EST, you can catch the live race commentary broadcast from Charles Sumner (Hooitus) @ www.twitch.tv/oldmanhoot. Follow the link below to catch all of the crazy Monaco action:
