so, just a quick review while you are still racing. Ive been preparing for this day for the past few days, been constantly getting 1:14:??? times so I was so pumped to race! so the race was rainy, first two turns after the lights went green, and someone totally destroyed few cars in front of me :D that was amazing and I thought i would not survive but I did (I started last and crashed no one! wow) and then few turns later I got to fully experience the rain and went into the wall and my front left wheel said goodbye and that was my race in the first round, so disappointing - considering I trained for this..well see you next week, and good luck to all of you as you are still racing!

Not a bad qualification with a slightly different settings.

The start of the race also went well. In the fight slightly damaged the front wing, after which the whole race was riding with damage, which was very difficult ....

For 5 laps to go to the finish line went to ultrasoft, but as it turned out the track was very wet for them, but I could hardly hold on and apologize if someone hurt, because I could hardly catch the car.

For a couple of turns to the finish line turned off the light for a couple of seconds and I flew out, and when I came in, everyone was already leaving.

I hope that the organizers will understand the whole situation and count the points, otherwise it will be too insulting, especially in such a complicated race.

i dont understand this race. i see player with 0 pit stop, players with ultra soft went smoothly on the water. Player with more penalties and drive trought to get ahead of me 30 seconds.

boh

Well that was an... interesting race to say the least. Started out 2nd to last, with my only hope being for a few postions on the first lap and try to survive until the end. Survived turns 1 and 2, moving up behind ztikes (my teammate) for 13th, I think. Turn 3 however I got turned in on by one of the Saubers (not sure who it was but no hard feelings, there were a lot people trying to go into a rather tight corner). Turned myself back around and was back down to last when Harvey crashed and caused an SC, which saved me from what would've been a very boring rest of the race.

After a couple of people pitted under the SC I was up to 12th-ish and gained a place or two after the restart until I had a comfortable gap to the Mercedes (Yarm, I think) in front. However I was being caught by ztikes and Crystal so pitted on lap 14 like Jeff told me to for a fresh pair of Inters, which in hindsight I probably didn't need just yet. Unfortunately though, as I pulled into my pit box, my game crashed and I was brought to my desktop and had time to post a comment in Glenn's chat before he reminded me that I might be able to get back in.

So, thinking that if I couldn't make it back into the race I would still be able to join the broadcast, I rejoined the session and was able to pick back up with my AI, who had only lost a couple of seconds thanks to the extra downforce I had asked to be put on during my stop. Getting back in I was able to go up to Rich mix and try and see if I could hold the gap to my teammate in front, and that if I couldn't I would just spectate with Glenn; however, after a few laps they all started coming into the pits and - to my disbelief - were mostly on slicks. I didn't think I would stand a chance if I pitted again so I decided to keep going as long as I could unless it started getting properly dry.

Luckily though, I started to catch right up to and carve through everyone on slicks and only a couple more laps, meaning I was back into the top 10 and points. Unluckily though, as I was coming through the pack, I hit a couple of people (it was Yarm for one time, possibly both) under braking, but again I'm not angry with any of you as you really seemed to be struggling and I didn't take that into account properly.

Anyway, continued cutting through the pack (with a red left wing by this point) on my Inters and followed behind Phil to catch Scintillic and I think ENiGMA or Karnak, into a completely unexpected 4th place (my best finish since my debut on PCARS!). All in all a weird race for sure, shame many of you didn't get to finish but well done to everyone nonetheless.

Won't be around next week for Spa as I'll probably be sitting in a ferry terminal on my way to Le Mans while you guys are racing, but I'll be sure to stop by Glenn's stream and wish you all well. Also, before I finish my rant (thanks if you made it this far by the way!), I'd like to give special thanks to Glenn for not jinxing me with Driver of the Day until after I crossed the line! ;)

Again another interesting one for me. Having a bad run of form after a really enjoyable start to my first PRL season (finishing in points for 4/5 races in a row even with a 4th at one point) but hopeful it will change. Terrible qualifying had me in 15th when usually i'm about 9th so the aim was to just steal one or two points if possible.

Turn 1 i got spun by sparking as did aiden, but no hard feelings as it was wet and he's new. Managed to get past a few backmarkers and eventually catch the force indias ztikes and samster until samster pit i think we were about 12th around that time. Jeff started telling me it was drying and then he told me to pit to slicks, so i did, which basically ruined the race for me as it turns out samster who i was catching before the pit stop, even after his game crash, managed to finished 4th by pitting for inters. I wish id pitted for inters too lol. I had a 60 second lead on the 2nd williams driver and he caught me on lap 33/35 to take 10th which was quite annoying for me but well played on tyre strategy for him! Ended up just behind wombeto finishing in 11th to end with no points for the 3rd race on the run. But, from falling to 14th, then to 12th, now 11th i'm hopeful i can start getting back in the points soon with more practice. (Fingers crossed ;))

Very well done to everyone who stuck with the inters, hopefully i will learn from listening to jeff/going on slicks just because i saw a few others do it.

Bring on Spa!!!

Well that was a very interesting race as a whole. Qualifying went pretty well, P13 which I was happy over. The race was not a VERY intense one from my part because I pretty much got an overtake or two during the whole race (excluding jumping people during the pit-period.)

I had a very poor start which led to people overtaking me before turn 1, but luckily enough for me there was a crash in front of me with about 3 cars involved which saw me going up to P13 again. I made a slight mistake accelerating out of the hairpin which made me lose a bit of my front wing on lap 1 and since the SC was out I thought that it would have been a good idea to pit in. After the SC period Crystal overtook me and I was going about the same pace as him for 5 laps or so which made me get some good lap times in which was important in that part of the stint.

Nothing really happened til about 10 laps to go til the finish were I saw many people go out on the dry tyres and I was struggling a bit for grip on my Intermediates even so I was definetly not pitting for a while. My decision was very good because I caught up to Wombeto who was around 40 seconds up the road and I could make a stunning overtake on him on the outside of turn 2, I could clearly see that he was struggling for grip on the Ultra Soft tyres. A few laps later I went in for Ultras and I noticed that it was a very bad decision since the track was still pretty wet, fortunately though I was already 30+ seconds in front of Wombeto so I remained in P8 and finished in the points for the 2nd time this season I believe.

Also props to my teammate, Samster for finishing P4, superb drive from him and a solid strategy, simply outraced me in this one.

So this race wasn't the greatest for me. I managed to qualify in P12 which I'm happy to have managed. First lap in and I already get taken out. 2nd corner someone hit me in the rear which then pushed me into Xaiden. But the most annoying part was the safety car. The game told me I could overtake it, so I did. Next thing I see is that I'm speeding, my response was obviously to slow down. But my delta was apparently so low that the game thought that i was behind the Safety car. So get penalized for that with a drive through. After the safety car period I decide to take my penalty and go through the pits. But instead of just a go through my team decided to change my tyres. Which I wasn't happy about. After that I thought that the game might have realized its mistake. But next thing I hear is that I have to take my drive thru or I will be disqualified. So enraged I took another drive through which puts me last place and more than a minute behind the race leaders. Not only did I have this drive thru bug but my whole entire game was bugged. I couldn't ask my mechanic anything. The leaderboard was completely wrong and all in all a stupid bug which ruined my race. Other than that nothing much happened during the race. I decided to stick with Inters for the whole race which was quite a good decision. I overtook some leaders who were on dry tyres but that's about it...
