This track reminds me of Zolder. Also, the map in the first post does not match the track on the server.

Here's the best I can find: http://www.carolinacuppro.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/vir.jpg
There is no Madison Avenue chicane on the track we are using.

I have been having issues getting the front tires to even get heated up. Any help?

Yeah, forget the temps, go for green pressures on the tyreapp. Don't know what initial camber is on the Porsche, but anything more negative than -3.5 on the front is not gonna give you better grip with more heat, almost the opposit. You'll basically increase your slipangle only.

Wazzup, people ready for VIR? :)

Yep I think so, should be a good race as they is a long straight that could present some overtaking especially if you get a good run off turn 12 I think or what was known as Oak tree corner. Times seem very close with top guys so could be interesting this weekend. Hope everybody gets through the first corner unscathed and we can race with no issues.

Thanks guys and see you Sunday night. :)

Might have to skip this one because my internet has been down for 2 days now... Writing this off my phone with 4G now cause my landlord is too lazy to do anything about it. Hope I can still join the race but I wanted to give a heads up if I can't make it...
Apologies and I will try to have this shit fixed ASAP...

Thanks Tberg, the car feels better.

How about some pre-race questions?
1. With tire degradation being so low that no-stops are popular, how have you been dealing with the tires?

2. Have you learned anything new for setups and for your driving style from these cars?

3. Would you race in another season of GT3 cars?

It's actually higher (150%), but maybe not compared to S2. Other than that, not much tyremanagement this season.

2. Have you learned anything new for setups and for your driving style from these cars?

No, but practice is practice :)

3. Would you race in another season of GT3 cars?

Yes, but will propose different settings as appointet organizer. If it gets complicated for the rookies, pre-season practice/coaching will be available. Always in search of upping the chance for the slower drivers to score points, while the experienced drivers will still do good anyway.

I have lots of ideas for a season 4.

Yes I think we should have went higher on the tyre wear as everyone goes for a 1 stop but o well we can try something different in the future.

2. Have you learned anything new for setups and for your driving style from these cars?

No I don't have the pace in these that I did in other cars. I was poor with GT3 on Pcars and now on this as well. And with no practise yet this race is going be fun!!

3. Would you race in another season of GT3 cars?

Yea sure why not ahaha but I would prefer something different :p. When the time comes to think about next season we will do a vote or something similar.

On a side note would you guys like a pre/post race interview?? I did in the F1 league and nobody seemed to play along. Mike also did it in the Assetto one then stopped. :)

I'm for questions since they were normal when I was racing in the F1 2011 league. Hopefully organizers of other leagues can do them as well. Now time for me to answer my own questions :)

1. With tire degradation being so low that no-stops are popular, how have you been dealing with the tires?
It's low relatively speaking. You can do the race distance on mediums with some wear in the last few laps. I would like to have pit stops either from higher tire wear, longer races, or a mandatory pit stop.

2. Have you learned anything new for setups and for your driving style from these cars?
I can't be aggressive on turn in like I usually am with driving, but I rectify that with camber and a stiff front ARB.

3. Would you race in another season of GT3 cars?
Yes, and I want to race in a mid-engined car. I've done a championship in a front-engined car, the Mercedes, and my Porsche is rear-engined. Maybe I'll pick the Lamborghini for next season.
