Steward decision: Due to carelessly wrecking his car to leave a race instead of handling the situation in a professional manner, DeadZero will serve a 1 race suspension at Round 5: Spain.

1) How was your race in Russia ?
I didn't ruin my race with stupid mistakes and so I finished on the podium for the first time this season! Looking back, I was very lucky not to DNF when avoiding Deadzero's car and Tron's retirement helped me, as he crashed due to that stationary car.
2) We are going to Spain for the next race. What is your expectations ?
I think top 5 or close to that is a reasonable expectation, if the drivers who have typically been faster than me have a race with no incidents.
3) What's your favorite track?
Silverstone, the current layout. It has corners with wide entries allowing for different lines when attacking and defending, in addition to great high speed corners.

1) How was your race in Russia?
It was much better than I expected. I couldn't find the pace during Time Trial practice, but consistency was paramount and led me to another top 5 finish. Along the way I had some pretty fun battles with a good number of other drivers. The illegal overtake problem was annoying, though.

2) We are going to Spain for the next race. What are your expectations?
Can I get a 5th top five finish in a row? I seem to have decent pace again.

3) What's your favorite track?
I really don't know. Maybe Spa or the US.

1) How was your race in Russia?
Some good battles with other drivers until I was pushed roughly on the dirty part of the track at turn 1 of lap 3 by piboye. I ran on rumbles, slidded and knocked Zephyr's car, broke my front wing, lost 5 positions and was limping all the way long to the pits. I came off the pits at the back. I was pretty gentleman not to ask for Stewards review. Too bad some are not so gentleman...
2) We are going to Spain for the next race. What are your expectations?
Eating some piboye for dinner.

3) What's your favorite track?
I like Hungary, Singapore even if they are pretty tough ones.

Bobino, I'm surprised I haven't heard anything about this until now.  I thought you would say something in the Russia thread so we could have a civil discussion about the incident.  I'm sorry that our contact hurt your race so much.  I don't like to see anyone have their race severely hampered when fighting me.  However, even if you had submitted the incident to the stewards, I doubt that I would have been awarded a penalty.  That incident is at 13:23 in the video below.  I haven't seen your perspective, but from my view both you and Zephyr get DRS.  Zephyr passes me and I claim the outside for turn 2.  Zephyr runs deep and I leave you room at the apex of turn 2, which you take and establish overtake on my right.  Since Zephyr went wide and was coming back on track, I had to take the turn more tightly than I normally would.  The moment before impact, I begin turning left to avoid contact with either of you as I am sandwiched between the two of you.  We make contact and as I said in my race recap, you got the short end of the stick.  I think it was just a racing incident from being three wide through a tight, awkward corner.  I look forward to our race at Spain.

i just noticed that in ur video, i go 4 wheels off track. I thought i never did that so i went back and looked at my footage and on my screen i was only 2 wheels off. I will say that those 2 wheels were barely on track tho.

Sad for you, but I think it's racing incident, I think you were 3 wide at the corner.

Very good start though! Impressive! Alonso style :D

it was only 2 wide. megaman had backed off (u can see him in left mirror). I was on the edge of the inside kerb and the only other car in the corner with me didnt go any wider than that. I didnt even run deep at all.

Yeah, it is hard to judge whether this is just a first corner racing incident or MBr's fault.  You're luck this season has been about as bad as Verstappen's.

I dont think it was purposeful but i was hoping for him to leave more room than this. My wheels were still on the inside kerb and i got hit. That just means he didnt leave space.

edit: If u watch my video in .25 speed u can see that i just got squeezed

I took it easy in my qualifying lap and so I ended up 5th. I chose a new set of tires for another attempt, but I was clicking the button for drive out so fast I didn’t realize the game thought I was dumb and put me on inters instead.

Start was good because I gained a place, but I missed the braking point for turn 4 and rejoined in last place. The rest of the race was spent going through the field to finish 7th. I had a good fight with Bobino at one point but he beat me in the race on a faster strategy. I think I could have done one stop instead of the default two the game picked for me.

Zephyr, I looked at your video and I see you taking an early apex and going wide earlier than the usual racing line. It was either due to the early apex or understeer, so I don’t hold you responsible. But I left the width at the edge of the track. Refer to Racing Rule 8.1.3:
“If 2 cars enter a corner with overlap and that overlap is maintained throughout the entire corner, the car on the inside must maintain an inside line throughout the entire corner and the car on the outside must maintain an outside line throughout the entire corner. If any car narrows or tightens his radius which results in him ‘crossing lines’ from outside to inside or vice versa that driver will be at fault for any contact that ensues.”
It was a case of crossing lines but it was due to a typical first corner situation so I conclude it was a racing incident.
Compare piboye’s line:
