Ya, I heard the same thing but since it happened during the race I did not want to say anything and slow things down. I will bring it up if I hear something in the future:)

1. How was your race in Hungary?

Bad!  Qualifying was great, but my game crashed and I was unable to race.  I was hopeful for a podium that race, but such is life.  I did more stress testing on my CPU afterwards (since I recently overclocked)  and couldn't make it crash, so chalking it up to a brainfart on the games part.

2. We are going on the street circuit of Singapore. How do you like this track?

First time here, and after a few laps I like it!  I was nervous with a street circuit since my pace was so dreadful at Monaco last season (I'm sure LAcadian still remembers what my Renaults gearbox looks like  )  but after learning the track I feel better about it.  A few "hidden" corners that can sneak up on you, but a pleasing technical course I feel.  Hope to be competitive.  As a side note, I really hope to be able to "race" the whole race, but I am on parent duty on my own that night, but as long as the minion stays asleep should be good to go!

3. What do you think about the new PRL forum?

Seems fine to me, I don't see any flaws at least!

We have released a new form to submit protest to the stewards. Please, have a look at the Stewards Reports topic :)

Pre Race Interview

1. How was your race in Hungary?
 -  Very bad...I'm having some really bad luck this season.

2. We are going on the street circuit of Singapore. How do you like this track?
 -  I hate this track.  No matter what I do with my set-up I can not get good qualifying lap times, but when I do get going it seems as if things start going in the other direction and I go faster than expected.  I have no idea how I will do:)

3. What do you think about the new PRL forum?
 -  I'm glad you asked this question.  The only thing I would like to see come back is the format of the e-mail notifications when someone posts to a particular forum.  It just says that a member has posted to your forum, but it does not say who posted what.  The older forum/web site did.  In the e-mail notification, it would actually show the post so you could see right way if you should post a reply or to add to the discussion. Other than that, I really like the new interface.

I'm not sure it will be possible to have that back. While some members like this feature, some other doesn't like. With all those email notifications sent, it has made that our @precisionracingleague.com is oftenly on the spam list :(  So the positive point of that is that we will not see anymore as spam I guess :p :p

Yes, I see your point.  However, I do like the new look.  Since I have only subscribed to F1 2016 APCC S10, even if I do go to every post, it won't be that big of a deal :)

near the end, im hearing background noise like someone have is mic always on. I think its me!!!!! it's not suppose to because i set a push button with TS. is my button sticking? damn i hope not. Next time someone hear someone's mic on all the time, say something please.

Someone came on the radio a few times to say something about it, it was going on for most of the race, but obviously it wasn't intentional, no worries

1. How was your race in Hungary?
It was really looking up when the track started to dry, I pit a lap earlier for dry's and I was catching canuk, after he exited the pits.  I have very good dry pace but I didn't get a chance to show it because I stuffed it into the wall on the last corner.  I was a weird accident, and at the time after my first wheel-correction I knew I was going into the wall - I thought at most I would have a broken wing and I was ready to spin it around into the pits but....  I was pretty gutted.  Every race gets worse from a points and performance standpoint.

2. We are going on the street circuit of Singapore. How do you like this track?
If it's a street track then I like it a lot, and Singapore isn't an exception.  I have decent dry pace, don't know about wet pace, will DEFINITELY be finding out but this is the kind of track where I feel like it doesn't matter as much how fast you are, all it takes is a tiny moment of oversteer or a quick tail flick and your race is over.  It's going to be a long and difficult one but I am really looking forward to it.  One of my problem areas is the right side of the wall that sticks out in the newly designed section of the track.  You need to look right to line up the corner but that little guy on the left is deadly...if I destroy my car, it will probably be there.

3. What do you think about the new PRL forum?
It says you are still working on it, I'm not loving the way the threads are presented, looks a bit cluttered or more difficult to read vs the last version, and I agree about the emails but totally understand the reasoning but I know what it takes to set these things up and build websites in general and I think they did a great job, keep up the good work :)

Anyone want to practice tonight?

1. How was your race in Hungary?
My race was good. I'm happy with P4 since I was running in last in the wet. Some strategy helped me work my way forward then maintain pace. I had some good battling with Pat, but I hit him into T...3? No harm, but I decided it was time to back off.

2. We are going on the street circuit of Singapore. How do you like this track?
Tonight I will practice. Haven't run this circuit yet!

3. What do you think about the new PRL forum?
I like this forum much better. I found the other one a bit odd to navigate, especially to find the new posts. This forum is more along the lines of what I am used to.

Such a huge shame Crazy. I had some serious wheel spin out of the last corner as you see, but saved it and was going to stay on the inside line. I figured I was going to lose the lead after the traction loss, but NO WAY I would ever actively slam you like that. Unfortunately my video is corrupted due to the cpu crash.

Watching that clip makes me think this isn't PRL but an open lobby!

Race Edit:

This was a good race and a bad race for me, but I was surprised to have as much fun as I did.  The first corner was crazy as usual but I managed to stay out of the crashes.  I was behind Pat and followed him around the track for several laps until I got DRS and snuck under him going into turn 7.  I started the race on Intermediates as did everyone else, but when I pitted after the rain stopped I went to "soft" tyres, hoping they would take me almost to the end of the race or even to the end of the race.  When I got back on the track after pitting for dry tyres (Soft Compound), Pat and Filipe were right on my tail.  I was on the slower tyre (Soft compound), Pat was on Ultra softs and Filipe was on super softs, but I still managed to stay in front of them for quite a few laps.  I had a damaged front end so I eventually pitted for super softs on about the 17th lap (way earlier than anticipated.   I only had about two laps on the supersofts and then the safety car came out.  After barely being able to catch up to the safety car, all the drivers patiently waited and mandatory three full laps under the safety car to get going again.  This is when everything went to heck in a hand bag for me.  The green flag/light came out and it was a drag race to turn one.  Right after the green came out and my pit manager told me to GO, there were two cars in front of me that were going a lot slower than I was.  I was on top of these guys so fast even hitting my brakes to avoid them did not work.  I thought I was going to plow right into the back of not just one driver but two drivers on the restart, but to my amazement, both cars ghosted and I drove right through them.  At this point I was waiting for that red indicator telling me to give back those positions but it never came.  As I was on and off my brakes on the outer portion of the track, Pat Lessard took the inside line and was able to slightly get ahead of me going into the first corner.  I missed at least two accidents in the first left corner and came up on Pat again between turn 2 and 3, but he was going very slow for some reason.  I hit my brakes and tapped him in the rear which caused no incident, and then TRG hit me hard from behind and spun me into the wall.  I lost my entire front wing on that one. TRG and I both took off but I lost that battle.  I tried to make up some time but that was impossible due to having no front wing at all.  I pushed my car to hard going into corner #7, and went wide.  I knew I was going to hit the wall but I did not think I was going to hit it as hard as I did.  I lost my right front tyre and I was unable to finish the race.

There is no way I will go to the Stewards for TRGs hit that spun me.  It was a chain reaction starting with me having to slow for Pat.  TRG most likely did not have time to slow down and had no alternative but to hit me, thus spinning me into the wall.  Things like this happen in real F1 racing, and until the stewards start to factor these things into their decision making I will only submit apocalyptic events to them for review.

My thanks go out to Pat who provided my with some very exciting racing for most of the race.  He never makes it easy...

This is an edit to my original post...Sorry about all the context issues in my post.  I was going off of memory and it was 5:00 am this morning when I made this post.  The big one that stands out after reading it was when I said I used DRS to pass Pat.  That was impossible....WE were racing in wet conditions thus no DRS.  I just got a better line down the straight, that's all.

Well...rain AGAIN...it's pretty unbelievable. I've always hated racing in the wet, I prefer going balls out over trying not to crash every corner, but after this weekend and the past 5 races, f@#% it, time to embrace the rain, I'll be a fan soon enough, and the changeable conditions are really growing on me.

My video is so laggy I haven't gone back through it so I'm working from memory here.  Decent start, held 2nd spot but pretty soon after the beginning I got sideways and Canuk had no problem seizing the opportunity.the take the position.  Almost the whole race, me Gunner and Canuk were all within a corner of each other, and some of the time, straight up nose to tail.  Gunner and Canuk were doing most of the battling and there really wasn't a dull moment.

All three of us pitted at the same time, Gunner and Canuk went onto S and I went on to US - I think I had pretty good pace but it wasn't quite quick enough to make a real move on one of them.  I seemed like my tires wore a bit quicker, but theirs degraded faster.  I really wanted to try the undercut but I knew I wouldn't make it to the end.

Sometime during the third stint, around the time that I was starting to lose hope of passing them, I received a bittersweet gift from the race gods...as I rounded the last corner I saw one of the cars ram the other, and both were moving slow after.  My mouth was literally hanging open and I moved into first by the next turn.  I'm very sorry that the action ended in that moment especially since they were basically nose to tail for the whole race in first and second, they both deserved better, but it was just a freak accident.

I didn't make a highlight reel because my video is incredibly laggy for some reason, it's barely watable.  During these races it tends to be pretty laggy for me anyway, but not like you see in the video.  Not sure if it's worth checking out but I posted it anyway.

Let me know if you wanna practice for Austria!
