Turn 5 is currently the bane of my existence. I can't seem to find a good line or technique. That little hump in the road causes me to lose the back end if I don't slow way down. I watched Mac's track guide video (thanks for that, BTW) but he seems to go through it like it isn't there. Not sure if this is a problem in other cars but it sure is in the McLaren. I've tried playing with the setup to make the rear more planted, and it helps a little, but it's still a major problem. Thoughts?

***Pre-Race Interview***
1. The only street circuit we have on the schedule, Long Beach. On a scale of "Fun" to "This is worse than that time we tried racing at Monoco", what is your opinion on this track?

2. Mac and RPG have traded wins back and forth so far this season. Who do you think will be a driver to take home a win away from them this season?

3. The first DLC will be a Rally car heavy theme. Are you happy with that or what would you like to see in a pack instead?

[ul]
[li]I love this track relative to Monaco. I am very excited and quite nervous. It'll be the survival of the most consistent. [/li]

2. Mac and RPG have traded wins back and forth so far this season. Who do you think will be the driver to take home a win away from this?
[ul]
[li]Obviously I am biased here, but I think whoever has the cleanest race will win; not necessarily the quickest. [/li]

[li]:blah: I want an American track DLC. Barber, Mid Ohio, Road Atlanta, Sebring, VIR... just to name a few. [/li]

Long Beach is actually a very simple and easy track. As long as everyone takes their time and doesn't try to win the race on the first lap and as long as the faster cars stay patient when behind traffic, I think it will be a much cleaner and fun race than everyone expected. The concrete walls is what intimidates people.

2. Mac and RPG have traded wins back and forth so far this season. Who do you think will be a driver to take home a win away from them this season?

So early in the season, especially on a new game it's hard to tell. While both drivers are outstanding I can't give it to neither. As we do more and more races drivers will be getting a better hold of their cars and I think we will see more competitive races come later on. Not to mention we have some very fast newcomers like GreatC, Wardude, and Phynest. So it's hard to tell.

3. The first DLC will be a Rally car heavy theme. Are you happy with that or what would you like to see in a pack instead?

Since rally cross is in the game it was inevitable that they would release a DLC for it. Personally rally cross does not interest me, much less within PC2. I'm more excited on the DLC's after. Would like to see Sebring in the future to complete the endurance racing triple crown and the new GT cars that revealed this year.

I don't hate this track but it's far from my favorite. The hairpin kinda ruins it, IMO. Now that I've practiced it more it has kinda grown on me though.

2. Mac and RPG have traded wins back and forth so far this season. Who do you think will be a driver to take home a win away from them this season?

I've only done one race so I don't really know how everyone drives. I'd like to think I'll challenge for a win at some point, but I have no illusions about how tough that will be with this field.

3. The first DLC will be a Rally car heavy theme. Are you happy with that or what would you like to see in a pack instead?

I prefer traditional rally stages to rally X so I'm not really excited. I'm going to try the rally X league so maybe that'll change. Id love to see rally stages and hill climbs added but if they do I want to see a co-driver function too. The drifting stuff is kinda pointless, besides just for the fun of it, IMO. They need to add a drift mode with like a point system in order for the drift cars to serve any real purpose. I want more LeMans type cars and more vintage cars of all sorts. I'd also like to see more F1 cars, especially the 70's to 90's eras.

1) I think Long Beach is a great track but Monaco is just more fun in my opinion. However just like Monaco, it is a track that does not forgive with all those walls so we should definitely avoid making mistakes!

2) It's very hard to say since Mac and RPG are both incredibly fast drivers but I think it is a matter of composure. Just like Vettel and Hamilton in F1 this year, it is all about who could stay the most composed. All it takes is one mistake.

3) I'm not too big into rally so it doesn't interest me that much but I'll still give it a shot... Like what GreatC81 said, I would like to see more F1 cars ranging from the 70s to modern.

I'm really surprised Sebring wasn't included, since all the other endurance series circuits are there.  I think that one in particular has a good chance of showing up in a DLC.  With SMS being a British studio, I'm not surprised at the European bias though.  They do have A LOT of awesome tracks across the pond.

I really enjoy this track a lot. its just frustrating enough not to hate it if that makes sense. I have a good car with a good setup and should be a contender for the win.

2. Mac and RPG have traded wins back and forth so far this season. Who do you think will be a driver to take home a win away from them this season?

Bubba18 or Kdawg I feel have the best chance at the moment to bring home a win. kdawg has excellent pace week in and week out and is always in the top 3 conversation. while bubba18 aka myself is constantly improving and getting more and more consistant each week. I will be in victory lane before the season ends believe that.

3. The first DLC will be a Rally car heavy theme. Are you happy with that or what would you like to see in a pack instead?

I'm not a fan of the rally car aspect of this game but I do wish they would go in a Nascar heavy direction soon.

Season 9 of our famed Tuesday night PS4 GT3 league was back in action for the only street course that the gents will hit this season, as they battle the slick asphalt of the famed Long Beach Street Circuit.

Tyler McIntosh (MacAttack0922) qualifying streak continues, capturing all 5 Poles on the Season, however this was a nail biter to the very end. Mark Kaelin (Bubba18) and Tyler would trade the Pole back and forth a total of 5 times in the session, barely besting each other by mere hundredths of a second late in qualifying. Mark K. gave it one last shot at the very end of the session, but contact grazing a wall on a corner exit would be the determining factor tonight, as Tyler won the Pole by .085 seconds. With that Pole, Tyler has now tied Patricio Campos (Pitricio) for the All-Time League record with his 15th Career Pole. Mark McCormak (RPG), Chase Cavalier (Doge_With_It_420) and Kyle Spencer (KDawgHonda777) rounded out the Top 5.

Everyone knew that Long Beach was not only a race between cars, but also a race of survival on the unforgiving streets.... but no one could imagine that the streets would be this unforgiving. The race started off clean, no accidents happened and only 1 driver suffered a half spin. Then at the end of Lap 2 exiting the final hairpin, the craziness founds it's way into the race, and wouldn't leave. Tyler was in the lead when he clipped the inside wall and spun his car with damage. He lost even more time not being able to spin his car back around until everyone cleared due to the close proximity of that section. This forced Tyler to pit immediately to fix his damage and take the gamble of putting on a harder compound tire to make it the rest of the way. A few laps later while running in 2nd place, Mark K. would be the next to pit as he would be the next of the front runners to slip up and make heavy contact with the wall. On Lap 12, Mark M. would be the next leader to fall victim to the streets as he got into the wall hard on the exit of Turn 1, forcing him to pit on the next lap for repairs. Lap 13, it was Kyle's turn as the exit of Turn 5 saw him spin his BMW into the inside wall as the leader. This gave Chase the lead for the first time ever in his PRL career. The lead would be short lived as Chase drove too hard into Turn 1 on the next lap, but luckily it was only a loss of time and no damage for the Renault driver. That slip would give Samuel Yong (PhynesT-X) the lead for the first time in his career as well. But as the streak goes, Samuel would find the wall entering Turn 7 on the next lap, surrendering the lead back to Chase. Chase would pit at the halfway mark in the race, one of only 2 driver who did not have to pit for repairs. That pit stop would give Dave Cristelli (TheGreatC81) the lead as he would be the 3rd driver to lead for the first time ever in this race. Dave would stay out as long as he could on his tires, only to see himself spin on the exit of Turn 5 a couple laps later. While Dave did not get damaged, this allowed Tyler to close right up onto his bumper, and then take the lead as Dave pit the next time by. After all of the craziness unfolded, everything cycled around with the main battle for the lead to be had between Tyler and his tires. Leaving the audience in suspense, Tyler's tire management was on point as he was able to take his Hard tires and incredible 32 laps and bring home his 3rd victory on the season. Chase ran the cleanest race of the field to bring home his first career Podium with his runner-up performance. Kyle would round out the podium after he was able to hold off Samuel in the closing laps, while Dave would round out the Top 5. Along with his Pole and Win, Tyler captured the Fastest Lap to complete his 2nd Hat Trick this season, which now ties him with the All-Time lead in that category with Patricio. The Hard Charger award would have to get split up 5-ways this week as Chase, Kyle, Samuel, Dave and Mikhail Jackson (Mikhail24RD) would all go +2 for  the race.

**Top 10 finishers for Long Beach**
1. Tyler McIntosh (MacAttack0922) – 3rd Win of the Season
2. Chase Cavalier (Doge_With_It_420) – 1st Career Podium in the PRL!!
3. Kyle Spencer (KDawgHonda777) – 4th Podium of the Season
4. Samuel Yong (PhynesT-X)
5. Dave Cristelli (TheGreatC81)
6. Mark Kaelin (Bubba18)
7. Mark McCormak (RPG)
8. Mikhail Jackson (Mikhail24RD)
9. Max Lewin (RiteAidKid84)
10. Lance Lewin (RacerLance)

In the Driver's Championship battle, Tyler McIntosh (MacAttack0922) win jumped his points lead to 22 points now over the rest of the field, giving himself over a full race cushion worth of points. Kyle Spencer (KDawgHonda777) took over 2nd place after Long Beach, jumping up 5 points ahead of Mark McCormak (RPG). Mark Kaelin (Bubba18)  moved up into 4th place in the points, dropping Mathieu Blais (Mats35R) down to 5th.

The Team Championship standings saw Apex Motorsports (Tyler and Kyle) take a big leap up on Pony Up Racing (Mark Mc. and Mark K.) as the 2 Ferrari drivers had issues in Long Beach. The spread between the 2 teams is now 40 points.

Next week will be going to a familiar circuit for the first time this season as the crew heads to Road America, as Tyler McIntosh (MacAttack0922) looks to defend his win from the last time the League hit the circuit back in Season 7 (which was Tyler's first career win!). Each week, please join our League's Broadcaster Charles Sumner (Hootius; www.twitch.tv/oldmanhoot ) as he breaks down all of the action that happens each Tuesday night @ 9PM EST.
