1 - This week, we are going for an oval race at Kansas. How will you approach this race?

I have no idea, but I'm excited for it! I have very limited oval experience (I'm talking a couple rookie street stock races at Charlotte) I will definitely try to make the practice session to learn how to drive in a pack somewhat coherently. I'm thinking its gonna be a fun one!

2 - What is you favorite pet?

I'm a dog person. As much as our boston terrier is totally crazy and farts even more than I do, can't help but love the guy.

3 - How your season going after 4 races?

Highs and lows so far. Monza wasn't great for me (MANY spins), but then Brands Hatch was a great success with P2! Then Mosport was....bad. Self destructing errors killed me. Many incident points were had. Heads were hung in shame. I came back determined to at least have a clean race in Montreal, and it netted me a narrow victory!

All in all lots of great racing is happening. I am really enjoying running around the track with you guys, be it in first or last place.

Looking forward to it. I will approach it as I always do - practice practice practice. It'll be nice to see how we all stack up on an oval - very different ballgame than the road courses we've been on so far.

2 - What is you favorite pet?
I like dogs, hate cats. Grew up with a savage African Grey parrot.

3 - How your season going after 4 races?
Not bad, two consecutive races with wrecks that have ended any decent points finishes. One was totally my mistakes, one was an unfortunate racing incident. I get more frustrated with my own errors than anything.

1. I'm going to get some extra practice in. I've never been on an oval in iracing.

2. Dogs. We have a Goldendoodle, he's amazing.

3. Being my first season, I want to try and work on my consistency. Out and out pace will come, but if I can't drive a whole race without a major incident, then I'm nowhere. Things have gone better than I thought. Some silly rookie mistakes, but I think its going well.

Totally tried the undercut on you there Carsten. Your pit entry and stop must have been perfect to come out 3 seconds ahead. I could have gotten away with less fuel so that could have been it too. Great race!

Good race tonight guys.  Lots of fun.  Still not sure what happened there Justin.  I think I may have got sucked down to  you and reacted too late.  Sucks that your wing got dmged on that.

No worries at all Carsten, I was white knuckled the whole time just trying to keep my line so may have not even noticed you!
