1 - What has been the hardest thing to grasp with this car?

3 - What does RESPECT mean to you? To you give people respect when you first meet them? Or is it something that has to be earned over time?

1 - What has been the hardest thing to grasp with this car?
Hardest thing in the beginning was me learning not to over drive the car. Once I kinda learned how to set it up for myself it has become much easier although with my super aggressive style I still overcooked the rears at the end of last race.
2 - What is your favorite movie, and why?
There are many as I love the movies Rush and Goon and many more. But if I did have to choose one it would have to be Slapshot.
3 - What does RESPECT mean to you? To you give people respect when you first meet them? Or is it something that has to be earned over time?
Respect is how you accept someone and show them a since of trust. WHAT A HARD QUESTION LOL! But for everyone I give respect to at first. Now it isn't a lot but everyone deserves a chance and for that they will get a little respect. But after that you have to earn it. D@%$ this was the hardest pre-race interview.

Will do!

1 - What has been the hardest thing to grasp with this car?
Weight transfer for me was a big thing. I tend to be over aggressive with control inputs and would pop off the brakes way too fast. Another was oversteer induced by lifting off the throttle mid-corner. My laptimes improve when I focus on being smooth and not overdriving the car.

2 - What is your favorite movie, and why?
FUBAR. Mostly because it reminds me of some good times with a friend that has passed.

3 - What does RESPECT mean to you? To you give people respect when you first meet them? Or is it something that has to be earned over time?
Its both. People deserve a level of respect until they prove that they don't. Its not to say that it cannot be earned back, but it is something that is much harder to earn back than it is to destroy it. I try to give everyone I meet the utmost of respect from the start - who am I to demand it be earned?

Good race tn guys. Nice come back after the first lap spin James!
2 races in row I had an unforced oops while in first place (and then spun again later). Hopefully some day I'll learn how to keep it clean .

Have a great late summer break everyone, I'll cya in a couple of weeks!

Haha, nice. At least one of us had a good comeback. I hit the wall on my spin, needed to pit to use my FR, then proceeded to jump the curb on the first chicane, spin, and hit the wall again. LOL. Not my night. Funny thing is, the 2 places I spun are the only corners I had no issues with during practices. See you guys in a couple weeks.

Thanks Owen! I thought i was taking it easy enough going into turn 1, but apparently not. Carsten, I'm sure my stupid mistake had something to do with your spin, so sorry for that. Christopher H had some unfortunate mishaps, I assume, that allowed me to catch back up. He was flying all night. I had about 2 seconds on him going into the final 3 laps and he closed it like it was no big deal. We went through the last 3 corners side by side and both tried to stay clean. Some contact was made, but we both made it out alive. It was really good racing. Like you said Owen, it's tough to be in the lead. It's definitely something I've not mastered.....probably because i have very little experience doing so :) See you guys in two weeks.
