Pre-Race Interview:

1- After an exciting race at Suzuka, we come to Italy for another iconic track, Imola! Are you looking forward to this technical track?

2- We are already halfway through the season! Are you happy with your achievements so far? Is the season what you expected?

3- It is no secret this car is easy to spin, especially in the slow corners. Do you like driving a car with no traction control that offers this challenge, or do you prefer something with traction control and ABS?

Thanks for the host Kenny! Found out that I don't need any help spinning. I'm awful good at it on my own haha.

Yup, I still hate this track...

I'm guessing P12 for the race.

What is there to hate? Its a fun fast track

It's a pain in the ***** to get right.  Race pace right now is mid 1:40's, which is no beuno for me.  I've never been good at this track, regardless of the car (GTE's, LMP1, Skippy, doesn't matter).  The chicane at the top of the hill is pointless and ruins the flow of the course.

Time for new tights Erik. You're talking crazy. This is a great track.

I've never got it right either, but like that one fat ex-girlfriend I keep coming back after a few drinks thinking this time might be different!

I'd like to confirm that the new pedals have helped a lot. Much more consistent and it feels really good to not have the pedals move around under heavy braking.

I don't disagree that I need to change my tampon.

I'd give my left nut for an editing program that would allow me to run a single corner over and over again without having to circulate the entire course though.

I also know it comes down to simply grinding out the laps.  I will admit I get a mental block when I know I'm capable of going faster but can't produce it.  I'll get pissed off and rage quit like I did last night.  Hell, my optimum is a 39.2 but I can't even crack the 39's yet.  my fastest lap is a 1:40.002 and every time I try to go faster I meet Mr. Wall.  Mr. Wall is a douche BTW.

I just spent 3 hours practicing and it took over an hour to get into the 40s. However, my best lap is 39.2 with my Olap being 38.7 (how even??). That said, I see my race pace between 42 and 40 as you need to do some deathly stunts through the turns to get those faster times. The curbs sometimes unsettle you but other times it's the smoothest curb ride ever. I feel like attrition will decide this race.

1) scared like a cat at a dog show.  Just realized I didn't even own this track.

2) Yes going the way I thought it would.

3) Traction control is for little old ladies and southerners who have never driving on snow.

1. I never raced on thos track but it is really fast and fun. I am scared of the curbs though.

2. I am happy that I am getting more and more competitive as the season goes on but my goal was to stay consistent which isnt a thing yet. Hoping the 2nd half will turn out better.

3. What he said ^^^

First time racing here, so not sure about it yet. On paper this track looks easier than it is. I'll be happy with a top 12 and will attempt to finally have a race without a lap one incident. First gear = the devil!

It's been much more competitive than I thought. I'm just hoping I finally get to be apart of some of the fun instead of just hot lapping by myself.

I would like something that had more grip in the corners, but I still like this car.

1. It's a fun track, just really hard to get it right. I'm clueless at the chicane, feels like I'm driving through it like a scared kitten.

2. I'm happy I'm keeping it clean, the last 2 seasons I had off tracks all over the place but so far I've kept out of trouble.

3. I like the challenge. You get a great feeling of accomplishment when you finish the race no matter what position your in. Other cars finishing the race is no big deal but in this one it feels good.
