1. I'm happy for him. He wasn't done racing yet and kind of got forced out of Gibbs because of them bringing Jones over. I hope he gets that 6 car up front and wins. I foresee him in the 17 next year if this year goes well and Stenhouse moved to the 6.

2. It's going to hurt them. People are going to want sedans. Not everyone likes crossovers. They sell the crap out of the F-150 but I think barely any cars will hurt sales.

3. Tacos. Hands down.

Also running this beautiful Road Trip RV Rental car I did for this weekend only. Pretty excited about this! One of my favorite tracks.

I hate to break it too you Walter. But it will never happen being a teammate of Paul. Just look at what Jaymes has to go thru with him. Jaymes wins, Paul kills him the next race. lol

Please make sure you have teampseak updated prior to tomorrow's race.

Also, like usual we will hold a meeting before the end of practice. Need to go over a few things. Let's have some fun tomorrow guys. Big pack racing. Big junkyard in turn 4 on the last lap. Not the first lap.

1. What are your thoughts about Matt Kenseth making a return to Roush-Fenway Racing this season?

It will be a good thing to get Bayne out of the car, maybe it'll get some good finishes.

2. Will Ford's decision to focus on a 2 car manufacturing line up, with the rest of RND and sales being exclusively in SUV's and Trucks hurt or help them in sales?

I mean, Ford already either has shares in or co-owns every single other car manufacturer, so they make money both ways. At this point, they could stop making cars and still be making money.

4. What is your favorite latin-american food?

Tacos. Don't know any others lol

Well Walter looks like we got wrecked in something we had nothing to do with...again. One of these days we’ll make it without any incident points 😭😭 Otherwise we had a nice run there in the middle and this was a lot better than daytona last season lol

awesome race for the guys in the front I stayed there the whole race. Really glad the front guys can hold a line because man it was fun side drafting with them. love that track and how the side drafting actually does work. Steve Mattocks I apologize for being so blunt in the race but you cant complain about me not giving them enough room the whole race the only contact that was made between us top guys was when I was being pushed down the straightaways by someone that didn't mind hang on my bumper. Jeffery man I wish that would have stayed green I think the way you were pushing me we could have been back up in the top again ty for the pushing and working with me

Great race last night guys. Was it issue free? Never is but still not bad sitting at 5 cautions IMO. We did make it to green flag stops so that was pretty cool.

Sorry again for the time constraint. Usually anything over 4-5 cautions is where it pushes us over on time on the big tracks(ie Talladega, Pocono). We are going to review the number of laps on the schedule compared with previous seasons to double check the time constraints. Adding time isn't really an option without upping the cost on the broadcast but all things are being considered for a solution.

It was one of the cleanest and most fun races I've ever had at Talladega, nice job guys.

We need to find a solution to the lack of time because it's not good for us or the broadcasters to be racing arbitrarily against a clock rather than racing out the number of laps. To be honest I love the number of laps in all of the races we have done so I think we should keep the laps and cut down the practice time instead of removing laps.

I didn't get too much damage in the first wreck. Car was fixed. My biggest mistake was making a last second setup change. I've done it before and I keep screwing myself. Gotta go with my gut instinct. The car was fine in a very tight group with cars on all sides of me. When I was trying to draft just behind 1 or 2 cars, mine wouldn't suck up in the draft at all. That's why I fell so quickly from 4th to 23rd in the span of 15 or less laps. Disappointing run on my end.

We are definitely looking into what can be done. I personally enjoy the amount of laps we have scheduled, so I would also like to see a reduction in practice. Qualify at 8est, race at 8:05. IMO, that's what we need to do. However, it isn't up to me although I do have some input in it seeing how I am an organizer.

We will review number of laps for remaining races of the season.

We can't cut into the practice because all broadcasts are already planned and setup. And also setup on iRacing live. This is why we will reduce the number of laps of a few races, not all.

Wait can the session not be set up to start practice at like 7 est instead of 6 and still start qual at 8:20 and extend the time for the race? Just trying to offer some suggestions because like Brandon, I do enjoy the number of laps.

It's an idea as well, but I know that there is a lot of drivers who used that 2 hours session to practice. I'm an example of it. I do not have time to practice during the week so I usually come early to get the most lap that I can. But if everyone accept to have less practice, it's someting possible. We are not far from completing tgise races. Talladega has been the only race where we didn't manage to complete all the laps, maybe starting the session at 6:15 or 6:30 would be enough... Will talk with management.
