Apologies for the lap 1 T5 incident to who ever got caught up in it. I'm happy I didn't completely destroy everyone and tried to let everyone past me that got caught up in it. Completely underestimated how early I needed to brake there one lap 1.

Thanks for reviewing Kenny! There was also an incident on lap 1 between me and Eissler but I bet the sim didn't pick it up because it appeared to be ridiculous netcode.

I think I may have been a part of that exchange too. The incident in T1 created a concertina/accordion effect and I couldn't react quickly enough and I tapped someone in the rear (grey car) that ultimately went onto the gravel trap and luckily escaped the barrier but appeared to lose 2-3 places consequently. McDonald I think it was and he did well to control his car throughout that exchange.

You might have been what knocked David into me and I spun off going from something like 11th to last in T1, but the incident at Canada on lap 1 was just two of us. There appeared to be at least a foot between our cars but I was on the outside and my car reacted as if it was hit and I went out into the tire wall. Worst netcode I've seen assuming that's what it was.

I think he'd already bumped you and then I bumped him - I am not sure as I couldn't see anything once he hit the brakes hard mid apex. Cannot recall the Canada corner incident if I am honest as outside of T1 on lap 1 I don't recall making any contact with anyone else. I am also unsure of who you are based on your username

I'm an idiot. I accidently posted my apology to Hugo in the sign-up thread. Wow. So I've just moved it here:

Apologies to Hugo for that incident in T5 on lap 1. I did brake early and I would have moved over right away but I wasn't sure if my left side was clear. I looked to check and when I looked back I was closing on you fast. I cranked it to the left and I thought I cleared you but I guess netcode said no. I didn't get a contact indication or hear an impact. I didn't even know you spun because I was looking forward. I had no idea I was involved until the other guys told me the next day. I guess I could have checked up more to begin with but coulda/shoulda/woulda doesn't really matter now. Anyway, it sucks that you ended up suffering for it. Seems no matter how hard we try to be safe, stuff is still going to catch us out now and then.
