1. What are your thoughts about Kentucky?
 This track seems unique compared to the other D shaped ovals, and I don't have the speed that I'd like to have yet. With that, I do like that it seems more off-throttle than the other cookie-cutters, so being smooth and consistent is important.

2. How is the fixed setup of iRacing? Do you like the handling of this setup?
 While not perfect, I do enjoy the fact that it seems more often that the setups are tighter, rather than loose. So that ends up creating some closer racing rather than a survival race for guys who are just trying to hold on to it on corner exits.

3. Have you run the truck on Dirt? If yes, how was your experience?
I haven't, but I have a great teacher and I will definitely get the practice laps in for sure over the weekend, pretty excited for Eldora.

Pre-race Interview

1. What are your thoughts about Kentucky?

Kentucky is a tricky track to me. The bumpiness of the surface can throw you off but once you get it down, it's not terrible. Just be prepared to fight a tight truck.
2. How is the fixed setup of iRacing? Do you like the handling of this setup?

I'm literally about to jump into the practice server and run it for the first time. I usually only run open setup races, so hopefully the fixed set isn't too tight. 

3. Have you run the truck on Dirt? If yes, how was your experience?

I did a few test laps last week. I feel like I'll be doing a lot more testing since Eldora is next week including the Road to Pro race on Tuesday.

I'm a fan of the bumps and the wearing of the tires

They're all pretty tight. I'd rather them be a little loose

I've run some practice laps but definitely need to run some more.

another terrible night for me. someone just turn right into me turn 1 lap 1 and it was over from there.

Before anything gets a little crazy, I will have discussions about that restart and we will get everything worked out in the appropriate place. I know in the heat of the moment when it gets crazy we can get passionate, but I do not want to hear a blowup in TeamSpeak like that again.

Also, we almost had 4 wide on the initial restart as well... let's stop trying to be cute and if you have to check up, then that's what you do.

not really sure what happened on the initial start. i wasnt trying to lay back as i knew i was going to be slow. The outside line just never went. Glad kentucky was so wide on the straight away as it could have been very bad for several people.
