Yes, it is very nice to match this race as close as possible with the original F1 race

Call it a hunch, but I'm going to guess that there might not be many clean paint jobs left at the end of this race lol

I had a lot of fun last night... lots of bumps... bumper bumpins... this track suck a **** lol. I'm very happy with the 1st place and the 5th place of my teammate Hootius.

First Top 5 quali run in this league, so I was very happy with that. I only practiced race pace for here, so cranking out my first 1:32 lap in quali felt satisfying.

And first Top 5 finish too! Had a clean start and held position through the first lap. Once KDawg and Mats started having issues behind me, it was then a matter of trying to keep the car in one piece and bring her home running. By the end, the steering wheel was tilting to the left mainly due to Turn 1, but not too bad lol Almost threw it all away with 2 to go. I straight up just lost it coming off of turn 3 and ate the inside wall pretty good. Luckily Brian let me by in Turn 1, and was there to hit me straight once I spun in front of him (he didn't really have a choice lol), so that actually saved me a good chunk of time not having to do a 5-point turn to get my car straight again. So overall, very pleased for the night I had considering I had this one circled as a throw-away once the schedule was released for this season.

I didn't get hardly any time to practice this track with these GT3 cars  as the long weekend I was out of town. So my setup was not anywhere near where it should've been and the only real lap I was able to set was right at the end of qualifying. 12th was fine by me.

With qualifying being as rough as it was I was just going to be happy to finish this race. And it started off with my car seemingly losing all power right away. Throughout the race I had some really good battles with Brian. Those battles would get even more intense at the end of the race only to have my damage really take me out of the battle when hootius let us by to keep the battle going as my car wouldn't slow down for turn 1. At that point I just limped to the finish.

Throughout the race I had some really good battles with Brian. Those battles would get even more intense at the end of the race only to have my damage really take me out of the battle when Hootius let us by to keep the battle going as my car wouldn't slow down for turn 1. At that point I just limped to the finish.

Ya, my car had some pretty heavy damage at the end (I was slow as all could be in that previous Sector 3) and you guys were very respectful letting me by, so I wanted to return the favor and let you two have a nice battle to finish the race on since I was at no risk to lose a position... and I wanted a front row seat for that battle lol. Sucked to see you go full Ericsson in Turn 1 on that last lap.
