1. COTA isn't a popular track. Can you explain why? What can they change to improve it?
I personally like COTA - but it only came after many laps. I found it to be a difficult track to learn and get right without making mistakes. I suspect that this is why it isn't popular with many drivers. For me, the run up to T1 is thrilling.

2. We don't have a lot of Ford this season, why this car isn't popular? What are the reasons of your car selection?

I race with Ferrari shoes and wear a Scuderia Ferrari F1 t-shirt for most races. I have a Ferrari licence plate attached to my rig. I drive a Dodge. No Ford for me! Honestly though, I find that the view from the Ford is too restricted, and the sound from the Ferrari is more enjoyable. That may seem strange, but when you spend most of the time by yourself at theback of the pack, it keeps me entertained!

3. What car have your driven the most on iRacing and why?
Good question. Probably the Pro Mazda as I have spent 3 seasons with PRL in the PM. Next would be the Merc GT3 from Endurance events like Daytona and Sebring.

Kenny Duval will host a practice starting at 8:00 est. It will be in the hosted sessions. It's open to every one and have had a pretty good turn out the past couple weeks.

The Layout feels very unnatural, Sector 1 is nice, everything else... sucks. Is nice to watch (I guess) but a pain in the ass to drive properly.

2. We don't have a lot of Ford this season, why this car isn't popular? What are the reasons of your car selection?

Dont know for sure, I think the Ford can be faster than 488 most of the time, I picked up the 488 because my friends advice.

3. What car have your driven the most on iRacing and why?

488, more than 70% of my time in iRacing, I enjoy the endurance races and this car feels like something serious to drive.

A return with a lot of bad luck. After losing the first two races of the tournament I returned from my vacation with great enthusiasm. In a circuit that I do not like at all (as most I think) I started to get good times not far from those marked by Benjamin, Cristian, Sergio, Juanchi and other great drivers. Everything very beautiful until the qualy starts. I did not know how to handle the traffic and I made a lap time 1.5 seconds slower than my best lap placing myself 6th and outside the track to face turn 1 where I knew I could have a problem. A small incident between Juanchi and Alvaro makes Juanchi's car impact on the wheel. It was a very small blow but it breaks my direction. Try to continue very slow until the pits going by the margin of the track and leaving it when it could harm other drivers. A runaway car just gives me the coup de grace and I have no alternative ... town in. I returned to the track after 3 minutes just to finish the race. Congratulations to the podium (especially to my teammate Cristian), to the organization for the tournament and to the big broadcast. Greetings and see you at Brands Hatch!

Good race yesterday. Unfortunately Benjamin cut my winning streak.
Like almost always a bad start and I lost 2nd place with Sergio. The whole race less than 1 second behind, I did everything possible to pass it but could not.

Congrats to Benjamin and Sergio, see you on Brands Hatch.

I went back and watched the broadcast. You and Sergio made each other work for it. I did all I could with the 4th place gift until Juan and Alvaro beat on me long enough to make me fold. It certainly has gotten tougher at the front since those guys showed up. I cost myself 15 seconds in additional pit time by being trigger happy on the pit limiter getting out of my stop. Definitely could not afford to give that time up. I needed about another 200 foot to the finish line to get Jean on the last lap.

It was a great finish for me, P7 feels like a podium for me! (considering the few amount of practice hours I got)

But I have mix feelings, I got two incident with Rhoad, the first one I lost grip and Rhoad couldnt avoid me, my fault, I really sorry for that.

I was very lucky and the traffic only cost me few seconds I guess, then I could build a little gap even thought I couldnt turn right because the damage I got in first lap, then I pitted in as soon I was able.

At the end I swore Kenny would catch me... I did my best, Kenny was 2 sec by lap faster than me, and I tried to push every lap futher more... It wasnt a pleasent, very stressfull moment for sure.

Congrats to the podium, next race wont be easy either, I hope a clean race in Brands Hatchs.

I wanted the position but I wasn't going to take us both out trying to get it. I wasn't close enough to get a draft down the long straight the previous two laps and I wasn't going to risk the pass in the tight technical section after it. My only shot was a run out of the last turn but I needed some more room to the finish line to make it happen. Good racing Jean. Congrats.

Hi,

Me too had a horrible quali session. On my last lap, I was like 2 secs faster than my time, but in the carousel, just went a bit too inside and got 1x.....so I started 18th, was very careful at the beginning, had some mishap, but was till able to gain 9 positions and finish 9th....

There was lots of action everywhere on the track....the commentators were having trouble following all the action in the 1st 5 laps.....

Dany, I was one of your mishaps and im sorry. I had a driver dive bomb on me into turn 12, so i gave him every ounce of space that i could and we made it through the corner, but then he proceeded to turn right and drove me off track? When i came back on track heading into turn 13 you had a huge run on my left and I didn’t see you until you came across my front end. Im on a single monitor and my view is restricted, so for that im sorry. I learned how this all happened by watching the replay after the race, and sent you an immediate apology through IRacing last night.
