1. Learning as I go...trying to take this series as more of a learning experience. I have some background with chassis setup, so I am having fun with such a flexible car. PRL is a great place. I used to race RC cars 15 years ago and helped run a club, and this reminds me a lot of that....great people, clean and competitive racing....what more could I ask for.

2. I live 45 mins away from from this track and have never been. It's a dream of mine to take their racing school one day. I just finished a 40 lap test session since I've never driven the track and I think I'm up to speed (We'll see what Justin arrives with). Just need to work on the aero as I think this track has a lot of hidden laptime in the wings. I wish I could remove the brakes to save weight, because obviously you don't need them around here :) As for plan of attack...with the walls so close, I think it would be prudent to drive at 80% just to finish in one piece.

3. ummmm......breakfast (eggs, toast, sausage, homefries, coffee).....oh god, now I'm hungry.

Pre-Race interview
1 - Only 2 races in, what are your thought about that series?

What a blast! Lots of good clean racing to be had. This car is a ton of fun, and surprisingly fast if you get your setup bang on. (here is to hoping Tyler keeps helping me with that!) I'm looking forward to continuing on with this and having some good battles with everyone.

2 - Now we run at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for this week race, how will you attack this track?

I am about to hop onto this track for some laps now, I have barely drivin it before. (I had to buy most of these tracks for this series so practice is paramount!) I immediately feel it is a faster track with less downforce needed. We will see what I figure out!

3 - What is your favorite meal?

Fresh caught pickerel fried over an open fire on a rocky island in a northern lake. Nothing beats it, and I have fishing on the brain again! Shore lunch is always the best.

Sorry I missed practice this week. For some reason, everything seems to be happening this week for me. I wont be able to make the practice before the race on Sunday, but will be racing home for quali and the race.

Wait for the tires to heat up, and then ride watch my problem zones, and finish clean.

3 - What is your favorite meal?
Got to be Lobster for lunch, and steamed clams on the side.

Wow, terrible race for me! A lapse of concentration and I spun exiting the hairpin, killing my car. I'm not sure who it was, but huge apologies to whomever I cut off when I half heartedly reentered the track. The turning radius was like a freight train. So sorry, my mistake and I won't make it again. I now know to just call for the tow. It was fun up front while it lasted Justin!

I almost took your nose off twice at the start! Sorry about that.
It was a fun first five laps.

Hi,

Worst race ever for me.  In practice, I was flying over the track, and very confident for the race.  I got the pole, had 2,7 secs over 2nd, and lost a bit of concentration in the esses before the pit entrance, lost the rear, hit the wall.   Had a brainfart trying to do a fast 180, and this got me sideways on the track,  I think Eric got me (my bad Eric).  then I was able to get to the pits, but I pressed my "CLEAR" key, cause I didn't wanted to gas or tires (since we wer on th 3rd lap).  But doing so also removed the Fast Repairs, so I had 5 mins of repairs.  Had to wait, then I had to just leave my pits and had to tow, another 2:30 mins of tow ( I found this ridiculous cause I only went a few feet to get out of my pits to get a tow). Then I came back in the race, 5 laps down.  2 laps later, I went wide in turn 2, got into the grass, and hit the wall.  Race OVER.....

Will not be hard to do better next race.

Great race guys. I finally had a complete race with no (real) drama.

Had a hard time following a car into the hairpin and not dropping the car on downshift. I spun on the opening lap that way. I'm glad I didnt collect anyone.

See you all in Montreal next week!

Yea, I think you were behind me when you spun on lap 1.  I did the same thing a few laps later.  Never could catch up to the leaders again after that.

Yes, I did it again behind you later in the race...maybe you were running some trick wing that washes away my front wing ;)
