lol that's only because I've been racing since Season 05 and F1 2014 suited my driving style.


What do you think of this track and do you prefer the night or the day race of this race ?
I don't mind but I think if we all agree we should set the time to night since its now a night race. The official weather for this track is a day race.


Do you think Codemasters should have an option to turn off the Halo for F1 2018 ? And why ?
I don't think they will do it but it would be nice too be able to choose, it's already hard to see in the mirrors on some cars and it will be even more difficult with the halo.


What did you think of the real Bahrain F1 Grand Prix ? Who was your driver of the day ?
It was a nice race to watch, sadly Bottas couldn't take the win from finger boy but Hamilton did a nice come back and a superb overtake. I have to give the driver of the day to Pierre Gasly that took P4 with his Toro Rosso Honda !!

I like this track it has some overtake zones and the elevation change is nice, I prefer the night race the track temps are cooler and not as hot considering it is in the desert.

They would be silly not too but like Dark said they probably won't unfortunately, as for why well i don't think I have to explain myself on that one lol.

I thought the race was bone crunching and exciting, way more overtakes than Melbourne was sad to see both Red Bulls out within 6 laps. Driver of the day definitely goes to Gasly he had an outstanding drive to take home P4.

I think 1000000% we should be racing at night for the league. If the real race is at night then our race and qualifyingshould be at night.

I would rather they find some intuitive solution and still keep it on the cars for F1 2018. I want this because the cars should be as they are in the real 2018 season.

That intuitive solution eludes me tho. This will really suck for me if they do nothing because i prefer cockpit view and in real life u look to the apex but u cant in this game so that would suck with a halo directly in front.

I thought it was a nice exciting race. it proved that the midfield fight is SUPER close and interesting. There were so many different teams cars in the points today. Also the battle for the front is also super close. Both Merc and Ferrari seem fast *(cant really tell with red bull yet cause of their failures). 2018 is looking like it will be one of the best ever seasons of F1

My driver of the day is probably Gasly. that p4 is insane.

Yes, but I think the best solution would be to make the Halo semi-transparent so you can see that it is there, but you can still see through it. One reason that the halo isn't a problem for the drivers is their binocular vision, which we don't get on a screen. So, making it semi-transparent makes is so we can "see around" it.

What did you think of the real Bahrain F1 Grand Prix ? Who was your driver of the day ?
I really enjoyed the Bahrain Grand Prix. I think it is one of the best circuits on the calendar for giving a good race. I don't think people think about this, but one of the keys to having a good race is having a road that is wide enough. This allows different lines for overtaking.
With everyone, the driver of the day is Gasly. But, Vettel, Magnussen, and Ericsson all had standout drives in my opinion.

If you're talking about me then I guess I'm sorry? This is my least favourite track because of how slippery it is. I literally took time off work today to find a way to no slide at each turn because of heavy breaking. I just kept the saying "slow in, fast out" to remind myself how to stay in the race. Again, this game isn't perfect so I don't stay close to anyone when braking. Stay off the same racing line if it's an issue.

That's something you need to be careful too also. I normally when I am following someone that I know they can be slower I will either brake ealier and pass them on a straight or I will just go in the middle lane and if I see the other guy braking too soon I can easily make a move and if I can't I just go back to the racing line. I have a perfect example when following Bobino when I catched him I just backed out of the braking since I knew I had more speed so I didn't want to risk anything. Not saying that's nobody's fault but there's ways to prevent this and we all need to keep in mind we don't drive at the same pace and we don't all have the same skills.

I learned this season that you need to manage your own race more and worry less about others (except field the first 2 laps). If you're talking about me going slow into turn 1, I have braked at the same point the whole race and I brake at that point because I don't want to wear down my tires too fast. I have minimal wheel lock this race and I tried to save as much tread as possible because I knew I was going to be using all my extra fuel in the last few laps which meant abusing my tires. That's how I managed my race and that's how I was able to catch and pass Jerome.

I had to leave right after the race and didn't want to get any more annoyed than i already was.
There was definitely a bit of a sync issue, as our wheels weren't along side at the point of contact from my view. Even from yours it doesn't look like you had overlap at turn in, not going to go into it here tho.

Funny Zephyr is complaining about people braking early, you did that to me at the start there, Lap1, coming into turn 9-10 before the incident with deadzero... I lost some wing because of it, people misjudge things, it happens.
