What a painful race. In the second stint I was counting every single second to finish the race.
My setup wasn't very good, the front tires worn away after 6 laps and then it was very difficult to get the car inside the curve and to brake hard in the first hairpin. Not a bad result considering the race conditions.

Q: 6th
Best quali effort to date, but still left a good .5 sec out on the track.

R: 16th according to the scoreboard, but being disputed for 9th

I started off okay. I got a bump in T1, but nothing bad, no real damage. Got up to 5th when Mat's had a spin in the last turn of L1 (thank god he ghosted for some reason lol). I was pulling a comfortable lead on 6th when I slid and went wide out of T4 and got a 10 second penalty for it. I fell back to 7th, but got back up the KDawg's bumper for 6th. He was running a good steady line and I didn't want to make any contact with him, and I spun myself in T2 trying to set up a pass. That cost me a ton of time, so I decided to go ahead and pit on L9 to see if maybe there was a little bit of rear damage, and I could start ticking off some faster laps. Unfortunately after leaving the pits, I had to make several overtakes that cost me more time. Ended up just riding around in 7th place for the last 10 laps or so, and then ran out of gas on that long back stretch coming to the checkered flag. I tried to put myself on pit road so the AI could just drive me down and cross the finish line, except the AI went full helmet and smacked me into the wall and started driving the course backwards which caused me to be DQ'd and finish in last place. So I'm challenging that I feel like I should be 9th, the last car on the lead lap. Overall a very disappointing race for me, since this is the first time I've really had decent pace like that. Hopefully I'll keep the momentum going and have a good showing at Dubai.

Q: P1
I was really pushing for pole. Being a wet race, I knew that the spray may play a factor in running quick, consistent lap times. Fortunately I managed to just make pole, only a few tenths up from second.
R: P1
The race started and I had a terrible launch. I think everyone else is using manual so they were able to get a better launch than myself. Pitricio stayed really wide into turn one and braked considerably earlier than I expected, so to maintain P1, I dove hard to the inside of the turn. Managing to hit the apex and avoid any contact, I put my head down and focused on hitting each brake and turn in point, and on accelerating smoothly so I didn't spin. After each lap, I seemed to just edge out a bit more from Pitricio and avoided pitting as long as possible so that my tires would be younger at the end of the race than the 2-5th guys. I think I pitted around 12 or 13 and came out 4 or 5 seconds ahead of P2 and just pushed to the end. I did my fasted lap on 16 or 17, 2:07.5 ish, and managed to create a comfortable lead. The last 5 or 6 laps I slowed my pace a bit to reduce the chance of making any serious error and brought it home. Kudos to the few guys I managed to lap for lifting or moving out of the race line. I think it was a clean race for most and am looking forward to Dubai!

Qualifying was tough. Put in a decent lap, just wasn't very quick. But I had worked more on race pace the entire practice so that wasn't a concern for me. At the start of the race, I got a terrible launch. Which caused me to drop to 14th. Slowly I drove my way through the field to about 8th and then stayed there the entire race. Not a bad weekend for ASR as we keep the points lead and add another trophy to the case! Looking forward to night racing in Dubai!
