1.  Are you aware that the race is at 8:15pm AEDT?
Good question! :p Yes.

2.  What is your prediction for the top 3 this race?
I would guess Jacko, Force, & Maznat.

3. Have you experienced any glitches either last race or in any other multiplayer races since the last patch?
Yes, recently I experienced a glitch where I had no engine sounds for a whole 50% race. Complete silence.

4. How has Shanghai International Circuit treated you in the past?
Not that well I don't think, usually I lack grip around here.

1. Are you aware that the race is at 8:15pm AEDT?
Yes!
2. What is your prediction for the top 3 this race?
Kartdude and maznat were impressive last week, but I know several drivers had disappointing results. I'll guess two Saubers and kartdude.
3. Have you experienced any glitches either last race or in any other multiplayer races since the last patch?
Not myself, but I've heard about many occurrences from others.
4. How has Shanghai International Circuit treated you in the past?
Extremely well. I have 15 leagues wins here, equal only with Suzuka as my statistical best circuits (by number of wins). I hope to add to that this week, but I'm wary that the quality of the field may threaten that objective.

Q: 1st* - (*Technically Craig was on pole but apparently there was a glitch which meant he went 2sec faster than anyone in the final sector!) Wasn't a bad lap, was a bit conservative in a couple of places but happy to be up the pointy end. I noticed a plitch that set-up defaulted once I came back into the pits but I was able to change it back (somehow??), this affected a few guys for the race it seems...

R: 1st - Got a good launch and was challenging Craig into turn 1. Got a slight tap from someone behind which caused me to slide into the apex but luckily held onto it. Craig slid off at turn 3 which let me through into the lead. Jacko was up to second behind me with Force in 3rd.
I was able to gradually ease away over the first stint and I had almost a 3 second lead when I pitted on lap 9. Jacko followed me in and we switched to the white walled mediums. Force had stopped earlier for super softs and came out right behind Jacko. They battled for several laps which allowed me to save some fuel and gradually ease away again. By the time Force pitted again for softs I had a comfortable lead and continued to pull away from Jacko in second. My tyres really seemed to hold up well and I was able to lap very consistently all the way until the end.
It's great to get the win, it's been quite awhile since the last one, way back on F12013 or something I think! Hopefully it's the first of a few more this season.

Q: 3rd*
Officially 4th with Craig's glitched time. My setup defaulted between runs (maybe during my first run, because the balance was wack).

R: 2nd
Overtook ForceWhan as a lag melee saw Craig off then reappear ahead. Somewhere in that I lag tapped dreglar, but thankfully he held on to it. When the dust settled it was dreglar and I ahead of Force then a big gap back as several frontrunners had back luck (kart, dani and maz spring to mind). I few lock ups and dreglar had a 3 second gap before we pitted. I considered alternate strategies to try and take the lead, but preferred to not risk 2nd. When I saw dreglar and I were the only 1 stoppers up front I realised that we'd be 1-2.Unfortunately I lost another 3 seconds in the phase of outlap through to my battle with the super soft running ForceWhan. In the final few laps I lost further time as my balance again went all wild (maybe my setup defaulted again). I was content to slowly lap to the end risk free for 18 points.

That was undoubtedly the most broken league race I've ever seen. Sad.

Q, 2nd: I crossed the line last out og the top 3 & it told
me i was purple but somehow i was p2 (with craigs glitch) but i had no setup for all of qualifying so it wasn't as bad as what it could have been.

R, 3rd: I got a good start but there was quite a bit of lag, Jacko was on my inside so i decided not to challenge, from there on i just chipped away at it, was trying to switch up the setup through the inrace menu, it sort of just made it worse, especially when i got a rear wing fault. I did no practise so i just went with jeffs strategy which was the wrong strategy by that point i was well out of the game. Other then that, i was happy to get a decent result opposed to previous races this game. Onwards and upwards from here!

Q: 7th, not the best lap, but did all I could give I could not practice as much and knew it would be a tough race.

Race: A DNF.

Well, the grid was a mess, and everyone was out of sync, had a guy on pole who was a second slower than the front guys, put Dani to the rear, Ect. Honestly, it was a huge mess. once the race started the man on the pole was in an incident with maznat, which left me with nowhere to go and was out.

I'm not angry, just really dissatisfied with how broken this game really is. if the grid was in the correct order the incident may never have happened and the reality is this broken game took out the former championship leader. I really hope, that the organizers, moderators or whoever really consider looking at if we should keep going or not. because surely we cannot keep going like this until a patched came out. This game is seriously broken.

Hello everyone. Just to touch up on some comments that several drivers had made about the race issues. Leadership is just a frustrated as you guys are with the quality of the online stability right now. Majacko, Dani, Jerome, Aaron and myself had a long talk about the race and the issues. At this point in regards to the race, it has happened, what's done is done, and the result will stay as-is and we will move forward. However in future races, Dani and Majacko have the leaderships blessing to restart the session from the beginning if the qualifying order is so messed up, that it is deemed dangerous and detrimental to the league.

One thing for all drivers to keep in mind is that joining the session after it has begun seems to intensify the errors in the game. So please, everyone please make a valiant effort to be in the game on time so you can join before the qualifying session gets started and not have to join in mid-qualifying. Hopefully just that alone can let us continue to run races and not have to be at the mercy of Codemasters having to fix their goof-ups.

Hey Hootius, Thankyou for clearing this up. But given that the results for this race have been counted, shouldn't it be the same for the rest of the races? as in if Qauli messes up it should matter? given China may have an effect on the championship outcome, it should be the same if it happens to anyone else?

Don't get me wrong guys, I want this game to be fixed also, but it doesn't seem fair that I got a DNF Because of the mixed grid that has now counted, and that can not happen again to anyone else.

Just because the game bit us and caught us off-guard once, doesn't mean we should let it happen again. The NASCAR game screwed me over and cost me a championship last season, so I totally understand where you're coming from on this point. But we had to look at from the sense while it was an unlucky bounce for some and a lucky bounce for others, unfortunately that's kind of just in the nature of racing at times and we can't just assume that everything would have played out the way people thought it should have even if the qualifying order was correct.

Now for the grid being out of order moving firward, if its something like we saw where it was drastically out of order and someone pretty off the pace starts up front, then I say for the integrity of the league moving forward we should restart at that point. If it was something silly like say number 7 and 8 are the only ones to swap, that shouldn't be that big of a deal to cause a hassle for a full restart.

My heart really goes out to anybody who gets jipped by these events. I'm normally in three or four PRL leagues on the PS4, so I know that feeling and I think it's bull crap that these developers can't get the games right the first time after how many years of doing it?!!! So the best we can do is just try to make it fair moving forward and just learn from the past.
