1. Pretty good. I had an absolute blast battling with Sammy back and forth for many laps. He got ahead of me after a faster pit stop but I got past him again and was trying to push to build a lead when I lost it in Ascari like many others have... Damaged my car and managed to salvage it but my teammate caught up.
2. I like this circuit. It is very challenging on the brakes and having confidence in the downforce at high speed in the back sectors.
3. I play the odd shooter, but haven't lately as my time is devoted to PRL Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Pre-race Interview
1. How was your first race last week?

Not bad. I had lots of fun. Made way too many mistakes that cost me a ton of time. Still learning the car so I will happily take the points.

2. Brands Hatch is a short circuit that required a lot of downforce. Is it the kind of circuit that suite your driving style?

Now that I have learned this circuit and it's blind apex corners in the middle section I don't mind it. I am still adjusting to the car more so. I usually try to drive smooth and steady, but like Justin has said, I'm finding you need to push this car and throw it into the corners with speed too keep the pace up.

3. Do you play other video game? If yes which one?

I enjoy games like Fallout or the Elder scrolls series, but haven't played much at all lately. Some silly racing games have been taking up my spare time. Funny how that happens....

1. Last race was great. It was my first iracing league race, so I was a bit nervous. I decided to go with a bit more wing because in testing, I couldn't consistently string together laps. It ended up costing me 2 seconds per lap on the old banking, which was Lau ful, but I finished the race strong, which was my goal.

2. This track is great, very tough with all the blind high speed corners. I'm paranoid that I'm running too much wing again, but I think my delta to the top times is certainly lower than at Monza with all the straights.

3. I dont have a lot of time with 4 kids, so I usually focus on one game at a time. Iracing might make it difficult to move to the next game ever :)

Fun! Some quick guys in the session!

2. Brands Hatch is a short circuit that required a lot of downforce. Is it the kind of circuit that suite your driving style?

Not so much in GT cars, but I am really enjoying screaming around in the PM here. Knife's edge the whole lap!

3. Do you play other video game? If yes which one?

Unfortunately not really anymore. I'll do a race or two against the AI in GTR2 and Automobilista every once in a while but iRacing is pretty much the only one. About once a year I'll reinstall Mount and Blade and STALKER with whatever the hot new mods are at the time and spend a solid week or three of just absolute immersion before I end up getting burnt out and going back to racing.

Great race guys. I was expecting more mayhem on the first lap.

I was going along nicely in 6th until my brain failed and I forgot to lift on the sweeper and piled into the wall. I will have to work on my mental concentrstion in the future.

Loving the league, very high quality racing! Thanks.

Hi,

Was another good race, but some guys were not carefull on the 1st lap, like I told you, tires were cold, car is tend to loss grip.  Some will learn from this.

For my race, I was Lucky to avoid some wrecks in the 1st lap, and find myself 3rd.  I was able to pass 2nd and was gainning on Justin until I spun on lap 4, then spun again on lap 7.  Had hard time to concentrate since I was still a bit Dizzy from that flu that got me Knock out for 5 days.  So after all the mishaps, I was able to get back to 5th.  Then I pitted on lap 20th.  I came back 3rd, 15 secs behind leaders.  I pushed hard and was able to gain lots of time, thanks to Owen that was in my back all those laps.  I finnaly got in touch with the leaders with 2 laps to go, but I didn't had enough laps left in the race to be able to challenge them.

Unfortunately, small tap from behind got me spinning middle of lap 1. After that, drove too aggressively to regain some ground which resulted into multiple spins and eventually dq. Should have been more patient ...

Congrats to podium. Nice faultless driving by Justin, steady as a clock.

Good race guys. Tough one for myself. I took it a bit too easy on the first lap which got me to spin twice.. second time I hit the wall and had to pit for repairs. My setup just needed to have the power down for the corners haha. I am happy with the rest of my race though, just kept lapping and trying to stay out of trouble. Very clean racing from everyone again. This is turning into my favorite series to race. See you guys next week.

Great racing by everyone! My initial strategy was to just stay consistent, not pushing it too hard and risk spinning. That went out the window about halfway through the race though when for some reason I started bottoming out hard on the turn 1 downhill section. Had to really dial it back there and ended up losing decent chunks of time each lap. To fight off the rest of the pack catching up I had to push it harder than I was comfortable with the last half of my laps and this ended up DESTROYING my tires... I was hanging on by a thread by about lap 28 and ended up having an awesome battle trying to fight off Matt to the finish.

A few more laps and the results would have turned out quite differently, lol! Awesome race guys and can't wait for next week!

Double check that... I had it happen once or twice and it was very dependent upon line. I think there's a sharp bump down there.
