Woo, Brands is a fast track in the GT3's.  Been running some practice laps and decided to do one of the Sprint races tonight.  Man, no time to rest and gonna have to really concentrate.  It's a blast of a track, but always doing something - the straights aren't straight.

Looking forward to Monday!!

I am hosting a practice session tonight Sep 27th at 8pm-12am EST. Session name: PRL Mondays GT3 PW: PRLGO
Session start time in sim will be same as League practice start at Noon in sim. Looking at Qualifying and Race conditions at around 11 pm EST

edit: It looks like the in sim date and time is off from what is posted here to what is listed on the leagues session when viewing session through iracing. Looks like specific date was selected but a specific date wasn't given so it was defaulted to May 15, Noon.

There will be another session with the correct time as somewhat pointed out the websites league has the right start time. UI seems to be messed up.

Decided to upgrade my computer today, new power supply and a 2070 Super. I'm now the proud owner of a paperweight, machine won't even POST. No clue what to troubleshoot after trying to revert all the upgrades and still no love. Pretty sure this means I won't be making the race though 😭

Really really sorry to the guy I took out on lap 9. I had forgotten to load my Race setup because I was distracted by a stream issue then was trying to push to catch the field back up. Ran wide into T1 thought I could save it and you got to meet my passenger side door. I guess tonight just isnt my effin night.

Congrats on the win, Julio! Really great battle :) I was trying to save fuel to undercut you on the pits, but got 40s on the pit entry. Cut that green thing on the pit entry... silly mistake!

It would be a great battle till the end. Anyway, good fun.

See you guys next week :D

Well, the local tech expert was able to rescue my computer, just not in time for the race :(

He has no clue what I did to it... finally he unplugged everything from the motherboard, including the BIOS battery, and then started plugging things back in - and bingo, up she booted. He figures I either knocked something loose or missed plugging something in when I swapped power supplies.

Looking forward to trying out the RTX 2070 Super now though, should be a good upgrade from the GTX 1060!

Yeah, that was me.  I was bummed for sure, but watching the replay, you clearly held your brakes after hitting the wall, so I can't be mad at you.

Damage wasn't as bad as it probably should have been considering how hard I hit you. lol

Racing incident regardless.... all good man.

Did you happen to just to swap out the PSU without swapping out the cables? That can lead to some issues including frying your other parts. You always want to use the cables that come with the PSU.

Was the 1060 that bad that you could not wait for a 3070 ?

I had big(and fair) battles in midfield. But then I made a terrible mistake on turn 0 and after that on turn 2-3 and hit someone. Netcode made the collision even worse. Really Sorry! I didn't even see his name.... :(

Non-modular power supply, so all new cables.

And the 30xx series cards will do me no good - I'm up against serious size limits in my case. Only a single card was short enough to fit, and I still had to hack off a drive bay for height clearance. Plus, the 20xx's were on a clear out sale, $100 off!

We'll I think it's over for you .
I've build an insurmountable 4 point lead . :)
Never fails, got caught up with someone else's inability to lock it down while spinning or it would have been 5 or more .
As far as the cards, I could have bought a 3090, but the one I was able to put in my cart is one of those that are having issues.
I'll wait a while before upgrading from my 2080ti.
