Last weeks race was great at Road Atlanta as it is my home track. I race motorcycles but have a ton of laps there. I raced it way back when they had no turn 10a or b it was flat out til the uphill then turn under the bridge it was just nuts. This weeks setup is going slow and I expect to struggle here. The racer in me says go get after it but my lap times are not improving much. Xmas holiday is coming fast I have 2 daughters one in collage and one is in high school.. she races bikes too and scored the national title in the 250 novice class...

Another night of some solid racing. The HFD1 crowd was happy to find a little more speed this week but it would appear every time we find some the front runners find some more. AN unfortunate equipment malfunction led to a less than desirable result for me but we'll all be back to try again at Road America.

Bittersweet race for the team. We had the podium but at the time of the pitstop accidentally change two tires and finish on p5. Great race anyway! Congrats to the winner and the podium! regards

Francisco and Kenny - I wondered what happened to you guys! I think the three of us were pretty well matched on lap times and sort of stayed right behind each other the whole time except for a few back and forth's between Francisco and I.

Great clean race once again, thanks all!

Man I was working back there trying to stay in touch in case you and he had a moment. I could eek a little back through the last half of the track but you two were killing me through 1 all the way to 6. My only real shot at picking up a position would have been in the pits or if you two tried to occupy the same part of the track at the same time.

I was more than a second slower than the front-runners, but was able to get a 6th place with some consistency and a lot of luck.

Maybe I must give up on trying to build my own setup.

I'll start sharing my sets here on the forums a couple days before the race.

I still think that 80% of pace is from driving style and driving skill, not from setups :p

I agree, but still getting a setup that was tailor-made for the track is a bit better than baseline or probably anything from setup-sync (spoiler alert: i do not recommend setup-sync)

Usually I try to make my own sets, if I can't for whatever reason I'll usually either get one from VRS, or if Craig makes sets for the car I'll get one off of his discord.

Craig A Williams has this discord where he makes setups for a lot of the road course cars (sorry oval guys). Fantastic guy, former team mate of mine, highly recommend his discord.

For sure. I'm not saying I'll get on the same pace just with a setup. But would be good to close the gap just a little.
