My game froze midrace and when it unfroze, it put me into a spin into the wall. Luckily I got 2 points, but it was really frustrating. I'll show my video later.

I got distracted passing Pat's ghosted car twice. The first time, it made me cut a corner, and the second ended my race after I hit a wall. Not blaming it entirely on Pat, but it's frustrating when I crash with less than 2 laps to go.

Yeah but the rules say that you need to go into the pits to retire. If you're saying it's not your fault, then it wasn't my fault that Tron crashed because of me and Russia. The game should have ghost in my car which it didn't. How was I supposed to know my car wouldn't ghost? The game is a mess, right?

I never heard of steam crashing while in a game, but if you say so...
I also wanted to add, can you guys please stop taking out the brake markers in quali? I know that sometimes it happens unintentionally during the race but I know the reason why that hundred-meter marker was taken out was so whoever did it could get maximum speed around that right hand turn. Stay on the track, that brake marker is the reason why I crashed in qualifying and couldn't set a proper time.
And one more thing, last night's race should not have happened like that. Even though I finished sixth, I'm very upset with how the race went. First of all we should not have restarted the race because these rule changes are way too much. Second of all the person that got screwed over by the game said to continue on with the race but you still decided to restart, this gave everyone fresh tires. So my fresh tire advantage was taken away because of this. Not only was I screwed over in qualifying, I was also screwed over in the race. Not to mention someone in the race was on the wrong tires, and those wrong tires were actually mediums. And you can't say they could have just changed to super soft later in the race because that would give them an even bigger advantage because they would have less fuel and fresh soft tires. Having a fresh tire advantage on this track is a big deal . Let's get it together for next season.
I messaged all the other people who affected me directly during the race. I'm hoping that was direct communication it would change people's driving style in the future.

Thats uncalled for, no need to insult others, steam does go down/crash and it can cause exactly what happened to pat. He also does a great job as an organizer, I'm glad he's helping out, you should be too.
As for the race, you shouldn't rely on those brake markers being there, and I doubt anyone is taking them out intentionally.
There were no new rules, we were just a little confused about what was supposed to happen, and I think Dark made that very clear, so there won't be a restart for this next time, and any restart puts the driver that required it at the back. Same as if their game crashed, or they had some other technical glitch.
You made a valid point about the starting tires tho, actually I think more than one person was on the wrong tires. Theres not really any excuse for that as we made it very clear what the situation was. Penalties for that should be applied as appropriate, feel free to submit that to the stewards. It's possible they selected the right tires and the game screw'd them, their video would prove that.

1. Brake markers: Deadzero if you were the one complaining about it during the quali or the race, you need to keep talking to minimum. So brake markers gone off you don't complain you drive more carefully. Everyone is in the same situation when they are gone and it does happen in real life I'm pretty sure Lewis Hamilton doesn't call Mr. Whiting to cry about it.
2. Race Restart: I made the decision live with it. We never had that happen before and almost everyone was agreeing to restart so we did. I was trying to think both ways when it happened. That's why I was pretty hard on Sucuri even though I knew he didn't did it on purpose and he was trying to be fair with people completing their final quali attempt. Since this was a first time situation and I discussed this on Teamspeak with the ones who stayed but people just quit without even listening. So if someone gets DSQ'd next time there will not be any restarts. We cannot prove in the moment if the DSQ should have happened or not. So for that reason, DSQ'd people will start with their penalty even if the game give an unfair one.
4. Tires, I agree it is a valid point but this same situation would have happened if it was a restart for someone who lost connection. The only ones who gain an advantage are the Top 10 because they get fresh tires so that's part of the rules and we have to live with this. To be honest, fresh or not I would have done the same exact strategy on my end. So everyone knows now that restarts can happen so to gain a little advantage because I don't think its a massive gain unless someone did 4 quali laps on the same tires.
5. Wrong tires on the restart. Only one last night was on the wrong tires. We don't restart for this. It is your job to set the right tires otherwise you can get a penalty. Like Iceman said, you submit a screenshot or a video of the car with the wrong tires and he will get awarded a stewards penalty. Last night, after the race in TeamSpeak since we shouldn't have restarted I cannot blame Mbr because I called the restart when it shouldn't have happened.
6. Ghosting cars: your PC, your game and steam can also crash. Remember Monaco where I was leading and my game crashed to desktop with 3 laps to go. Do you think I would quit on purpose ? So lets stop about this. Ghosting cars will keep happening but remember the rule is to go to the pits and retire there. Stewards could ask for proof if we keep having the same cars ghosting around. Also, I've came across Pat's car 4 times I think and it's fairly easy to see its a ghosting car with the X next to the name and I've always kept going flat out so I think it's a bit easy to blame a ghosting car for a mistake you do. I mean its hard sometimes to see a corner but take it more carefully I'd rather lose a second instead of crashing.
Like I said, in the heat of the moment. You try to think of all potential scenarios. I felt initially that we shouldn't have restarted but then felt of Sucuri doing P3 and get a penalty because he didn't want to rejoin the track unsafely. So stop blaming each other.
If you have to blame someone, blame me. It happened, we tried and sadly it didn't work out so next time we will know when the same situation happens again if it ever does.

My race recap of Japan. I didn't make it immediately because the race was so frustrating for me. My game kept freezing and releasing me. I'm sorry if it hurt anyone else's race.
