Pre-Race Interview
1.  Kimi Räikkönen notoriously gave his thoughts on the circuit, stating "the first few turns are quite good, but the rest of it is sh*t".  Do you like this track better than Kimi lol?
2. Normally this is the last track we race at, how have you like this alternate schedule this season?
3. There has been a lot negative comments during the chat on PSN and on PSN messenger.  How can we better keep our cool after the race?

Classic Kimi. I do like it better than Kimi in that case. It's up in my top 5 favourites.
2. Normally this is the last track we race at, how have you like this alternate schedule this season?
I really dislike having the calendar out of order. It just seems less real.
3. There has been a lot negative comments during the chat on PSN and on PSN messenger.  How can we better keep our cool after the race?
Easy. If you've experienced another driver hurting your race, ask them for footage or their initial reaction to what occurred from their POV, instead of assuming the same thing occurred on their screen as yours. If they have done something wrong they will receive a penalty if the incident is forwarded to the stewards and the affected driver simply has to accept that as the best form of justice possible. I think it would definitely help if the stewards reports come out before the next round though, as it may have telegraphed the argument that occurred with the former Red Bull driver this past week.

I'm going to answer the pre-race interview questions, because why not! I just want to let it be known first that family and I are taking vacation and I will not be in the race Thursday night. Chances are I'll be watching Jobes' stream, so I wish you gents the best of luck.

1.  Kimi Räikkönen notoriously gave his thoughts on the circuit, stating "the first few turns are quite good, but the rest of it is sh*t".  Do you like this track better than Kimi lol?
Did you see Kimi's face up on the podium? The man just doesn't like life or anything in it LOL but he is right about this track, it does suck and I'm not heartbroken at all about missing this race.

2. Normally this is the last track we race at, how have you like this alternate schedule this season?
I'm not good enough for it to really matter be honest

3. There has been a lot negative comments during the chat on PSN and on PSN messenger.  How can we better keep our cool after the race?
I've seen this another leagues too, we all just have to be mature and stop doing the knee-j*rk reactions (really profan filter??). This website has a system in place, if you feel like you're being wronged, there's a way to report it. Everybody b*tching about a certain thing won't help anything, taking the proper steps to have issues addressed is the only way to more forward towards a solution instead of just keeping the wheel spinning and not enjoying a video game that we should all be enjoying.

1.  Kimi Räikkönen notoriously gave his thoughts on the circuit, stating "the first few turns are quite good, but the rest of it is sh*t".  Do you like this track better than Kimi lol?
Kimi isn't afraid to tell you what he thinks haha. I have always really enjoyed racing here. There are some really fun corners, and turn 3 is quite treacherous, leading to several DNF's each season. The racing is generally good as well, as there are multiple passing opportunities.

2. Normally this is the last track we race at, how have you like this alternate schedule this season?

I prefer the real order. I find myself clueless as to where we are going the following week, and as Jacko said, it just feels less real.

3. There has been a lot negative comments during the chat on PSN and on PSN messenger.  How can we better keep our cool after the race?
Emotions run high during, and immediately following a race. I am no stranger to outbursts in my stream, often directed at one of my opponents. As Jacko stated, this game creates situations where drivers will see situations differently on their screen. Often where one driver feels no contact even occurred the other feels they were blatantly driven into. I think if we all allow ourselves to calm and look at the situation the following day, our stance or feeling of the incident is likely to be less emotional. Getting footage or even publicly posting your footage of the incident can be used to determine intent, as well as fault if any. Mistakes will happen, but we are all here to race hard and cleanly as possible. Lets try to remember that when these incidents occur.

Kimi has won this track as well when driving for Lotus so I would think he should like it more.  That is actually a very fond memory for me.  I think it is a pretty cool track and probably the best night race one we have.

2. Normally this is the last track we race at, how have you like this alternate schedule this season?
For the first season of a new game I really like having the official schedule, but after that I do not really mind having a shortened season, especially if I am trying to do multiple leagues on different games.

3. There has been a lot negative comments during the chat on PSN and on PSN messenger.  How can we better keep our cool after the race?
I think they big thing is to not say anything right away because you might regret it.  This game has so many sync issues that it can even happen when both people have a good connection.  I like when everyone posts their race so then I can just watch it from their point of view.  But if there is something that someone things I did wrong, I show my footage to them and if they are still not happy I just say hey man sent it over to the stewards.  If someone would ever start rage swearing at me, I would probably just ignore them, and if I know its my fault, I will actually message them and apologize.

Bwoah! The 2012 Abu Dhabi GP potentially was his best win and leavemealoneiknowwhatimdoing might be the best quote from an F1 driver but I'm going to have to disagree with him here. Just the opposite, a few turns are sh!t but the rest is quite good. One of my favorites.
2. Normally this is the last track we race at, how have you like this alternate schedule this season?
I personally love a schedule that mirrors the real schedule as much as possible. A shorter schedule is cool too. You guys race every week too which can be tough. Shorter schedule with a few more gaps would be cool. There are a few races is the official schedule that seem unnecessary. China, Russia, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Singapore. I like the tracks just fine but it just seems like the FIA saying we need to hit these markets. I'm old school in that way. Put Brazil back 3rd on the calendar and Japan last, etc.
3. There has been a lot negative comments during the chat on PSN and on PSN messenger.  How can we better keep our cool after the race?
I'm very new to this league and don't know anyone, except Mitch. I also have the player names turned off in the race because they're super annoying. So I don't really know who's who just yet but uhh, some of you guys are absolutely f-ing brutal. I've been sim racing for 7 years and I curse like a sailor, been in multiple leagues but some of things I've heard on some of these live streams are down right embarrassing. What the F is this idiot doing, so f-ing slow what the F is he doing here, etc. Making a fool of yourself sounding like an adult baby, whining about a game. I'm struggling more than I ever have with these cars, I'd hate to hear whats being said about me. I'm trying so hard to keep it clean, obey blue flags and finish the race. Everyone needs to exercise patience during the race, with their actions on track and mouths. It's why I don't have a mic anymore. I don't want to hear any of that garbage. Of course we all see red when something bad happens. What the F!!! This guys always does this or that, etc, etc. Most leagues I've been in have a rule prohibiting publicly berating other drivers whether it be over the mic or in chat. Warning, disqualified, banned is the order that goes down in. Report to the stewards and they can decide who was in the wrong. But the stewards need to actually do something about it. If you've got some people always involved or see a pattern, penalties have to handed down. If people can't control themselves maybe they belong in a public lobby with the other children.

There is a rule it just seems like no one is reporting it.  This is a reminder that if you do receive someone using bad language towards you or attacking you, weather openly or privately,  to make sure you take a screenshot and send it to the stewards and there will be action taken.  It is fine to have a disagreement, but it needs to be done with decorum and sensibility.  People have been banned from the league before after being given multiple warnings and it is unacceptable.  I would like to hope that we can self police this, which is kind of why I used this as an interview question because it has gotten pretty bad recently and worth talking about.

I will say that after re-watching a few of Jobes broadcasts, particularly Canada, the pace among the top 5 or 6 guys in this league is so close it's bound for trouble. You guys are so fast that we've got guys going through chicanes side by side and the two behind them are going through side by side. That's crazy, super unrealistic but absolutely fantastic to watch! Add a little lapped traffic or a damaged car in front of them, a little lag and it's a recipe for disaster. The last 3 or 4 laps of Canada we're beyond exciting to watch and the guys really demonstrated some cautiously aggressive driving and kept it as clean as possible. Tough to pull off and normally ends in tears. Thankfully this topic of behavior got brought up and hopefully it will steer the league in a better direction.

As Hootius won't be racing, I guess I'm in :D

Not a big fan, the first sector is nice but other than that I don't particularly like it. Not that quick either so that may contribute.
2. Normally this is the last track we race at, how have you like this alternate schedule this season?
I like normality in terms of doing it in order, but being a reserve racing from mid season on, the shake-up has been nice
3. There has been a lot negative comments during the chat on PSN and on PSN messenger. How can we better keep our cool after the race?
Like others have said, holding your tongue and discussing possible incidents with other drivers after the race is the way to go. Maybe even having your voice not be broadcasted so it can't be heard in others' videos could help to alleviate some of the things we've heard

Q: 5th

Surprised myself with a mid 39 as I couldn't even hit a 40 yesterday on ultras.

R: 5th

Had a decent enough start but Dubzzy got past through the first chicane. I snuck back infront just as the Safety Car was called, which was nice. Stayed out along with Jacko and Dahy and made it to Lap 8 for my first stop. Came out behind a very aggressive Dolphin and managed to pass him using the over and under into Turn 1. I was lucky to stretch my first Supers to Lap 19, allowing me to re-use the other set from qualifying and make it to the end. Had a fantastic battle with Aaron for a couple of laps before my softer tyres allowed me to make the move into Turn 14. Was an uneventful run to the end with my 3 second penalty hanging over my head, but I managed to get the required gap to keep my position.

Well done to everyone today!

Nice lap. Forza was so close though.

R: 2nd
Finally I thought my luck was turning good. At the start I maintained the lead and the SC was deployed. This is where the strategies changed as Forza and mebbe pitted off the ultras. I stayed out and continued to lap 8 with Dahy. By halfway through my first supers stint I had taken the lead, passing Forza with both of us to pit once more, hence the net lead (arguably with perhaps Dubzzy ahead). I pitted again and was flying. I needed to pass Dubzzy and Forza on track, but I had fresh supers and they had old softs. The only other car I needed to clear was dszman, who needed to pit again I believe. I overtook him with DRS, but he divebombed me, smashing me off and spinning me out. Now I was behind him and Dahy too (dszman did not readdress). I finally got by him, not before he spun me out again, and by then was way behind the top 3 with wing damage. On the final lap, Dahy was around at the triple chicane so I moved into a podium position, and Dubzzy either ran out of fuel or had a puncture. I jammed the brakes to not overtake him across the line like a good team-mate would, but he had a penalty unfortunately. This is the second time a potential win has been ruined for me by dszman, and a 14 point swing to Forza over me could be telling with the run of good luck he's been having lately. Not impressed and would like to see footage please.

I was 3rd on Supers, but 9th overall. Happy with the lap.

Ended up 1 stopping with the SC and VSC early in race. Had some fun battles, and overall pleased with the finishing position. Congrats to my teammate Mystic on his 3rd straight victory!

You don't need to worry about stewards. There's no point in me having you investigated since it won't do my championship any good. Your footage confirms that despite a little lag, you are desperate to stay ahead even though you're on a different strategy. Firstly you go too deep against me, shoving me off and don't readdress. Dubzzy does something similar to you, although you don't spin out. You then go for the same move on him that I did to you, except he leaves you space and you turn in early on me. Meanwhile you let Dahy through with ease. Looks pretty suspicious to me.

Sass, do you have video of your race? I'd really like to see how I was taken out in the 2nd corner on the 1st lap! And I that that you were in the area.

I'm not saying you contributed, I just want to see video of the incident with me and Vapor.

Thanks.
