Pre-Race Interview
1. How was your race last week at Spa?
2. We will be moving to another fast track in Monza, how do you like this circuit and what have you learned about this thus far?
3. How did you feel about the exchange between Vettel and Hamilton under the safety car last week?  I feel like we can learn a similar lesson in our league under safety car conditions of not following too closely.

Pre race interview is up! Sorry for last week as I had some dental issues and was not online much and missed the race.

Not going to open that can of worms. Let's just say it wasn't the best.
2. We will be moving to another fast track in Monza, how do you like this circuit and what have you learned about this thus far?
I quite like Monza, it should be exciting.
3. How did you feel about the exchange between Vettel and Hamilton under the safety car last week? I feel like we can learn a similar lesson in our league under safety car conditions of not following too closely.
Well Vettel was completely out of line with his collision when they were side-by-side, he will have lost a lot of respect from that one. They say the telemetry showed Hamilton did not brake at all, so we must believe it I guess. It certainly looked like he slowed down, maybe it was lag. (Joke) More likely it was the rear axle braking for him as he was off throttle the car may have been charging his ERS. With respect to not following closely, I think offsetting oneself to the side under SC is the best bet if one wants to stay close.

I was not able to race last week, but did get to enjoy the coverage that Jobes had. Was an insane race to say the least.

I'm undecided with this track. Basically it's just chicanes mixed with sweeping corners. Turn 1 being a chicane will be critical this week.

I feel that the penalty given to Vettel was a smart thing to do. I must agree with majacko and if you're attempting to follow close under the SC you need to not be directly behind the car in front. We've had multiple SC this season and it never fails that people follow too closely and end up with wing damage thanks to sudden stops.

Well, I was in a 2 week funk in both F1 and Nascar. After Thursday and Friday, it is now a 3 week funk :/

2. We will be moving to another fast track in Monza, how do you like this circuit and what have you learned about this thus far?
Monza was my best performance last season (both quali and race) and I absolutely love the track in ProjCars in my GT3 car.... however that has really thrown me off in F1 after my first practice session. Hopefully some solid Wednesday testing will get me back into a happy place so I can try to turn my performances around.

What Hammy did wasn't illegal... but it was shady since he knew that he would be expected to pick the pace up a little off of turn exit and he wanted to catch Vettel off guard. With that though, Vettel should not have made contact like that, it was childish, and his temper cost him an easy win since Hammy had the head rest issue. That's karma for ya.

Everything was great until the wing damage

If ur a traction control user have fun over those bumps, coz with no assists pretty much impossible

i dont think vettel should of done that, but how an earth can u say hamilton didnt slow down? i think he should of just kept the speed as it was slowing down further after he comfortable made the corner was a bit silly.

just me ? or do we need to get some more fiery questions i mean i like talking f1 and all, but i think we should focus on our league, eg id like to hear peoples thoughts on the jacko/forza incident im not really interested in if people like monza or not :p

1. How was your race last week at Spa?
My race didn't go very well last week. Early wing damage caused me to pit on lap 1 and set me behind in both tire strategy and track position. I felt like I had top 5 speed in the race and was happy to battle back to 7th position all things considered.

2. We will be moving to another fast track in Monza, how do you like this circuit and what have you learned about this thus far?
Monza always seems to have my number. I have a string of DNFs here that I would like to change this week. I think my pace is average at best, but hope to capitalize on what tends to be a race with a lot of DNFs.

Hamilton most definitely slowed coming out of the corner, which was unexpected. Should Vettel have been so close behind that he couldn't slow down, no. The outburst of anger that Vettel had leading to a banging of wheels was completely out of line and is lucky his penalty wasn't more severe.

Very difficult to adjust to someone else's setup/TV, chair position etc. Couldn't get great laps, but on the soft I had a banker. I was 6 tenths up on supers but backed out. Could have been 4th though I guess.

R: Ret
Disconnected at start of formation lap, reconnected and couldn't take control of car. As soon as the car went into its grid slot I was able to begin the race while everyone else was waiting. I was just going to wait on the grid for everyone to go, but I got the stopped on track warning meaning I would have been disqualified if I hadn't moved. I drove a lap and everyone was still sitting there and then Aaron asked me to leave. You guys are lucky I didn't hold the session hostage lol!

Good lap, still had time through the chicane tho as i hit that jump slightly! although i aced ascari pretty well

R:5th
Terrible result considering my pace around here! was really looking for the victory here but contact with forza was very violent and i lost heaps of time, probs somewhere around 20 seconds, as i had to get back to the pits on a broken wing, and then the time to change that wing cost me. Although i had a pretty good run coming back through the field, was tyre saving the whole way though as i pitted on lap 3. And still managed to two stop so was impressed with that. Luckily for me meebe had a terrible race and still gained points on him somehow lol but still not happy as i think i could of won here

Q: 3rd
Was very happy with this starting spot. It was my personal best lap, so couldn't have hoped for any better.

I deserved a lower finishing position on pace, but due to the misfortune of a couple of the faster drivers I was able to manage my tires the whole race and bring home a 4th place position. Only lost time once in the first pit stop as I had no choice but to double stack with my teammate as we were on similar tire strategy. Congrats to Mystic for his race win, they can't take this one away from you :)

Quali - P4
Lap on the softs was really good, then I saw everyone doing a lap on the supersoft.  I was not sure what would be better, so I attempted a super soft but screwed up the lap

Race - P3
The start I got pushed to the side a bit by dolphin, but luckily there was no damage.  I was fighting with him and DSZ when out of no where it looked like dubzy's car came from the pit lane on lap 2 and moved all the way over.  I hit his car but somehow no damage, but mebbe was not so lucky with that one.
After that I was having good pace, and then finally it was time for a pitstop.  For some reason the guy held me in the pits like they were changing a wing.  This basically but me back behind DSZ and Aaron and cost me about 8 seconds.  Kind of ruined my race.  This happened on lap 9.  The game did think with all the Dubzy incident that I overtook Mebbe illegally which was impossible because he was behind me.  Maybe they gave me a 5 sec penalty for that???? I have no idea.
So on the last stint I ended up going Super Soft.  I was catching DSZ for 2nd but I was pushing really hard and made 2 big lock up on two separate laps going into the 1st chicane.  This solidified me P3.  Felt like the raw pace was there just could not put it together!
