Happy New Year everyone. Just curious how the Christmas break race went. Are we good to race with the safety car? Can we do another test before the race? I think we should have a safety car for this race. Get the field bunched up on such a large track would make it more fun

Two race ruining events were observed in less than an hour track time. Notably, Dark had an eternal VSC delta after diving in the pits.

It's not the first time that me and Falco have netcode problems... since Monza back in pre season. I had a tough time to stay close to him to overtake.

I ended up in some decent battles again with you, Megaman, and your teammate Iceman throughout this race. Sorry you got squeezed wide at turn 1, but Iceman came up my inside and I was in another Renault sandwich. I'm glad we all faired better this time than at the start in Bahrain.

No worries man, but yeah, Iceman had a super start and it unfortunately causes our contact in the last chicane when he spun out and i broke my front wing.. Too bad but i tought i had good pace here are i was aiming my first podium. Later i did a "Homer" trying to set tires in the menu while i was turning... And yes, always a pleasure to battle with you on track.. we have almost the same abilities.

Yeah, finding the two of you off the side of the rode at the bus-stop chicane felt like a gift and made the race a little less exciting.

I haven't made a race recap in a little bit.  Here is my race at Spa.  I show my qualifying lap and then the race starts at 2:26.  I get a decent start, but Iceman gets a better start and goes up my inside.  I end up in a Renault sandwich through turn one.  Megaman gets pushed wide, but luckily no one got any damage.  I go wide at Pouhon and Megaman slips by.  I struggle again at turn 15 and MBr takes a look, but I stay ahead.  At 4:16, Renault gift me 2nd place by running into each other and going off track.  Iceman gets behind me and I think Megaman pits to fix a broken wing.  I make my one pitstop at 6:29 and exit right in front of Megaman at 6:43.  We then go into Eau Rouge side-by-side.  I probably should have left him a little more room and he backs out.  I lifted a little to make sure to avoid contact if he had stayed next to me, which gives him a run up the Kemmel straight.  However, I stay ahead.  He stays on my tail, looking for an opportunity until he pits at the end of lap 10.  At 9:38, I round the corner to find L'Acadien in the gravel.  I show the rain at 11:03 and Iceman catches me after I mess up my braking several times.  I debate about coming in for intermediates, but I see that Dark stayed out on softs and I remember that the sun was supposed to come out again at the end of the race, so I stay out too.  I spend the rest of the race trying to keep Iceman behind me and I succeed.  I end in 2nd, my highest ever position (now I just need that elusive race win).

Since I crashed early I was looking at some of the fights on track and I saw this !!

When I saw Falco disappear, I thought, "Nothing unusual here," and then... that happened

As for my race, I ended up crashing in the double left and then again after rejoining from the pits, so I retired.
