Pre-race Questions:

1. At the halfway point of the season, how would you rate your campaign so far?
2. Hungary is known as "Monaco without the walls", due to its tight nature and high passing difficulty. Is this a track you like and why?
3. Tyre wear will likely be a big factor here. Do you think the two stop will finally be competitive this game?
4. This is the final event of the year, with the Xmas break extending until January. Has is been a good year of league racing for you?

I have to be happy with my season thus far. I may have cost myself a potential win in Australia, but since then I've had six 2nd place finishes and three wins.
2. Hungary is known as "Monaco without the walls", due to its tight nature and high passing difficulty. Is this a track you like and why?
I used to regard Hungary as one of my favourite tracks, but with recent editions of the game, the grip levels have made it not so enjoyable.
3. Tyre wear will likely be a big factor here. Do you think the two stop will finally be competitive this game?
I'm not giving anything away. :)

With 58 F1 league wins and 1 NASCAR league win this calendar year, mostly from F1 2016, I'd say 2017 could only be classified as a great year.

Hit and miss, While I have has some great results such as the first race and a few podiums and even being one of the main title contender, a lack of attendance has hurt any chance at the championship and below where I deserve in the championship, here's to a stronger end of the season.

I use to hate this track in past games, as I struggled to get a nice rhythm on past titles, but enjoy it so far.

Has is been a good year of league racing for you? I would say so, At the start of the year I was not even interested in league racing at all, But participated in Jacko's Race of champions, where I got top 4, a few wins and was strong on 16, and have had some great results on 17, Here to 2018!

Q: 4th
I was confident of hitting a low 17 as I had in the hours leading up to the event. Instead I invalidated my first 2 runs and had to bank a safe 18.0 for P4. Very disappointing.

R: 1st
Both dreglar and kartdude jumped the start on the front row, and I overtook Nemo into turn 1. After the leaders served their drive throughs I had a decent gap, which I extended for the next several laps. I pitted earlier than necessary for mediums and safely continued to a lonely victory. Great recoveries by dreglar and kartdude, but also a fantastic effort by dani who was suffering what we believe was heartburn for the duration of the race. Merry xmas everyone!

Q 1st: After a couple of false starts, I decided to go out with two laps of fuel to ensure I could get a decent lap time and as it turns out both would’ve been good enough for pole.
R 2nd: I’m not sure what I was thinking at the start but I kind of just let my hand slip off the paddle way too early and in doing so spooked Kart as well (sorry Kart) so we both got instant drive through penalties. Kart came in on lap 1 but I decided to come in on lap 3 hoping the field had spread out a bit. I think I came out 10th. I made up a couple of positions quickly but there was some intense battling going on for the minor placings so my progress was slow after that. Got to the back of a mighty scrap with Murp, Force and a couple of others and I decided it was time to pit (on lap 9ish). I put on the mediums hoping others might be 2 stopping but it turns out most went for the same strategy. I had enough pace to battle through the field having some great battles along the way especially with Dani and Kart in the last 5/6 laps or so, great side by side exchanges though the T1,2,3 complex. In the end I passed Kart with about 3 laps and finished about 12 secs behind Jacko (15secs with an errant penalty I picked up somewhere...). Despite giving up a what I feel would’ve been a win, it was probably the most fun race I’ve had this season!
